This is about addiction and drug abuse, not medication taken under a doctors care for health issues. As with anything, medication can be abused and become wrong. But I believe God works through our doctors and scientists to heal us with these medications as long as we do not abuse them. Rev.22:15 Sorcerer-transliterated word in Greek-pharmakos

One of those
Take with food
One more dose
Swallow it down
Like magical spells
Self-medicate
To make yourself well
Tail of newt
Wing of fly
Take everyday and 
you won't cry
Lock it all up
Behind chemical walls
Don't read fine print
Across ceiling crawl
Pharmaceutical cauldron 
Sorcery lab
Not just broken body
Your soul's on the slab

Revelation 18:23, the only place in the Bible where the Greek word pharmakeia occurs. Some translations read druggery, others spiritistic practices. Bottom line is there is a connection between the use of certain drugs, especially hallucinogenic, and demonism. Your poem seems to be going in that direction. Fascinating

Actually it occurs in rev 22 as well And in Gal.5:20 the word witch craft is transliterated pharmakos.
