Moon Contest

fly me to the moon
is how the song goes
to find out if It’s made of cheese
or a man lives there that glows

you took me beyond the stars
so many times before
the moon was our next object
now it won’t be so

I will gaze at the moon
imagining what we might have found
maybe that cow
when it was jumping from the ground

or possibly that illusive sixpence
an astronaut or two
Looking for a way home
asking can I come with you

whatever our reason
to fly to the moon
it won’t be fulfilled now
you went beyond too soon

Let's Go See

Let's go see
This maybe all we need
Roads wide open
Hearts a racing
This time is now
This dream worth chasing

I hold you close
You guide my eyes
You made up my heart
Time to let me be

Seems so yesterday
Those wonder years
This place was all I needed
But something lead me astray
Caught in a moment
No chance of changing
Won't rethink all that has happened

I hold you near
You make up my soul
Life is about reliving

I can't take that anger away
I can't make you see
All i will do is make you believe

Let us go see
What is in store
Shed no tears
Because your baby I'll always be

Hold me close and you shall see
How proud i will make you be
Let's just go see how your love will grow

Premium Member Precious and Few

Do you remember back in 1972
when “Climax” recorded the song “Precious and Few”?
Those lyrics describe exactly how I feel
during each moment with you that is real.
Since then, it has been a couple of generations.
However, the song still gives me sensations.
After all these years, I am still willing and able.
I will get out that vinyl record and put it on my turntable.
It puts me in a mood for romance.
Please join me in another slow dance.

Burn For This

Bury me hastely no sunshine for me
Love lost im hurting im to blind to see
The shame of this deed is to heavy to hold
Throw me to the wolves im burdened and old
  Surely ill burn for this
  Surely ill burn for this
Soaked in this guilt like wet clothes on my soul
Surely burning for all the lies that ive told
Hello old friend i welcome your blanket of flames
Your dark black eyes and your numerous names
  Surely ill burn for this
  Surely ill burn for this
Ive lost again and my fates in your hands
Your words like hammers smash my heart into sand
Broken and ill from this life of sin
As you look down at my end with a *****eating grin
  Surely ill burn for this
  Surely ill burn for this
I cry out god save me it does me no good
Hes never there when you think that he should
For i am a man alone with temptation
Appetite for the wicked a deadly sensation
  Surely ill burn for this
  Surely ill burn for this

Parody To Chris Brown's Song Dont Judge Me

Why you wanna go there ?
I don’t wanna go there,
I guess I gotta go there,
you asked me out on a date,
then we go to a place that I hate,
you said the place would be nice,
but all I get is a sweet tea no ice,
not even a parfait with granola,
 tal vez él habla española?
So please don’t ask me,
and I wont ask you,
because if you wanna date again,
then you better let me supersize

Grandma Got Run Over

Grandma Got Run Over
You all know the song but do you know the true story behind the song?

Grandma got run over by my Grandpa
But he blamed it all on Santa Claus
I asked why he would ever lie to Grandma
He just looked at me and then he said “because
Grandma won’t remember just what hit her
She’ll believe ‘bout anything we say
So rather than her doghouse for a life time
We’ll say it was eight reindeer and a sleigh
We’ll even write a little song about it
She’ll be proud to be a part of history
So when she wakes up you be sure to tell her
It was reindeer and don’t ever mention me”

So there you have the truth behind the story
About the time that Grandma got run down
She looks at me and Grandpa when she hears it
Grandpa smiles but he and I still hold our ground

Horse

a horse came to me
he was singing a song well
and laughing to the hell
must be crazy, must be mad
but deep inside he was very sad
he had no place to live
he had no place to dwell
his sweet heart was gone
and his life was spoiled.
his colour was shiny white
and had darkest eyes
he was free to roam and eat
but could not find
a place under greedy and selfish skies
he came to me
to tell his sorrows
but i could not help
i was sad too
then we both sing a song well well
and we both laughed to the hell

Sing Me a Song

Not of love, for love is
hurting
not of war it won't leave me-
standing
sing me a song that sounds like-
lullaby
that will make me nod to every word;
by and by.

sing me a song not of cultural-
rituals
not to remind me of pain sired by
clan habituals
sing me a song of no pity
not this time
let me hear a voice healed by-
taste of time.

let me hear you sing on to a-
jubilant lyric
full of words of adventure
like an epic
culminated in visualized soothings
and calm
as if swayed by breeze and bend subjectively-
like palm.

Sing me a song that has treaded
across the worlds;
and seen and heard and crammed-
words,
sing that i can sleep with
hope in me..
sing me a song my kids would-
love to be...
part of its world wide members
of the band.
Touch hearts with the song, touch-
as much as sand.

Premium Member Two -- Searching For a Song

As I search for the verses
And look for the rhymes,
I wonder if life
Will give me the time
To tell you the things
I’d like you to know
That will lead you to stay
When you might want to go.

So, sing me a melody,
I will find the words.
Come sing the song with me,
Let your soul be heard.
Let me always be there.
Include me in your plan.
Then we will remember
Time we outran.

All the words that I search for
To say what I mean
Get harder to find,
Or, so it seems.
Destiny brought us
To this point in time.
Can honesty answer
Our questioning minds?

So, sing me a melody,
I will find the words.
Come sing the song with me,
Let your soul be heard.
Let me always be there.
Include me in your plan.
Then we will remember
Time we outran.

Premium Member Memories We

There is a sky - there is a sea --
There is a you and there is a me --
Put them together - what do I see?
Memories you, memories me, memories we.

I can recall times that we've had --
some of them good and some of them bad --
They just go on so endlessly ---
Memories you, memories me, memories we.

Memories you, memories me --
they become one big memory we.
Oh, how I love memories three ---
Memories you, memories me, memories we.

Sometimes I see memories blue ---
Time when there was no memory you.
So, happy am I when I can see ---
Memories you, memories me, memories we.

Memories you, memories me ---
they become one big memory we.
Oh, how I love memories three ---
Memories you, memories me, memories we.

Premium Member Until the Heartache Stops

You say our love is over,
But my heart can’t stand the pain
of waking up tomorrow –
never holding you again.

Yet, maybe I can make it
through this Hell of losing you –
But I’ll need you here from time to time
to help me see it through.

So, let me stay with you awhile
and hold you close to me.
I need some strength to carry on
if our love is not to be.

Then when it’s finally over
there’ll be no more teardrops.
So let me lean on you awhile –
until the heartache stops.

Premium Member You Can'T Take the Memories Away

You can take all the love that we once knew –
You can take all my dreams that won’t come true.
You can take all the hopes that maybe you’ll stay
but you can’t take the memories away.

You can leave me alone, unhappy and blue –
You can leave this poor heart, broken in two.
You can take all you choose if you go away
but you can’t take the memories away.

No, you can’t take all the memories with you
because they’re a part of me too.
So, if you should choose to come back some day,
just let your memories show you the way.

Then when you’re alone and thinking of me –
With your hair turned from golden to gray,
Maybe you’ll find I’m still on your mind
and you can’t make the memories go away.

No, you can’t take all the memories with you
because they’re a part of me too.
So, if you should choose to come back some day,
just let your memories show you the way.

Premium Member For What She Prays

She said, “Daddy, can we pray for Mommy tonight,
and hope that she’s okay?
I smelt it on her breath again
when I got home from school today.
I know that she is trying to stop,
but I think at times she gets so sad,
that she slips into the bottle again
not meaning to be bad.”

She said, “Daddy we need to help Mommy
in a way she might not like;
Even if it means she goes away from us
until everything’s all right.
This disease is not just killing her -
it’s killing me and you.
Daddy, I’m just a little girl,
please tell me what we can do.”

I saw the look of fear in her eyes
that resembles her mother’s face.
I knew that I could no longer ignore
our family’s little disgrace;
With her mother passed out on the couch again
I picked up the telephone;
and now for the next month or so
my little girl and I will be living on our own.

She said, “Daddy I hope when Mom gets back,
she’s the same mother I once knew,
before my little brother got sick
and died from the flu.
I hope she learns how to smile again
and remembers to hug me every day.
I hope she no longer needs to drink
and every night that’s for what I pray.”

Got Glue To the Lungs

Murders in Utah, Using Glue in lungs by upstairs neighbors

is this the work of and over active mine (mind)
should i call the who?
or should i call the what?
bam-sham-a-dam
the is so fudged-up, all the way up
and i don't won't to get messed up
but it seems someone, gotsa to go
and it look like its gotsa, to be me...

so long cruel world
you fudge-en suck
and i've got, the hell to go
where its said to be always hot
don't worry i will save you a nice
red hot spot.
with all the fans you will every need
the ones who will watch all the things
i thought up waiting to bring you to
your screaming singing knees...

so here to me i gave more than i got
and i got very little for the world
but pain and misery
but they took millions from me!

so when you spend all your money
on the finer things

just pray
i' m not whispering in your ear
some evil thing...

because i'll be, the first in line
to let the devil know
just how much it took
to send me here
to met
him in his fiery Paradise...
and beg he lend me his ear
so he will know of my woe..
and how i came to be
murders up from here ...

Come Home To Me

I lie awake in my bed
Staring at the spring stars above my head
I can't take me to sleep
I've been feeling so nostalgic
I've been missing all your magic
and what they do to me

I let the autumn rain drench my body
It's no use admiring the raindrops on my feet
I've been missing your smile that is oh-so sweet

How many seasons must I have to wait
When will you come back to me, oh, I feel so sick
I feel like a small child waiting, dreaming, wishing
When will I see you again

Winter wind has me curling under your favorite quilt
You got me melting even with your scent
I've been listening to our kind of love song
This is the one we both used to sing along

Summer lights up the sky
It doesn't soothe me and i wonder why
I don't need a therapy
Just bring it back, the you and me

How many seasons must I have to wait
When will you come back to me, oh, I feel so sick
I feel like a small child waiting, dreaming, wishing
When will I see you again

How many seasons must I have to wait
Must I believe that what we have is fate
How many more monsoons have yet to pass
How many miles more before this would last

Come home to me, Come home to me
Don't think about it and just come home
Come home to me
