SONG
held close
in our hearts-
Only You sung at
our wedding long ago
for our first dance together.
"Sixty-five years passed- still our song."

I sang a song for you on your wedding day
It was an old tune from a musical long ago
It captured the spirit in a most poignant way,
Such a romantic piece, gentle and mellow.
As I sang, your mother was moving her lips
I surmised your choice was special to her
Like a stargazer is enraptured by an eclipse
A mother-of-the-bride is so easy to stir.
Then you appeared in white satin and lace
On the arm of your father glowing with pride
The happiest smile adorned your sweet face
For the man at the altar, the one at your side.
In those moments the song was forgotten
All eyes were focused on the beautiful bride
I could see your beloved, entirely besotten,
Ready to take those vows to forever provide.
But I knew when you looked back that way
As the years steadily absorbed your bliss,
You’d remember I sang for your wedding day,
Just as you would remember that special kiss.

O solo mio
I am in love
with a cooing bird
a turtledove
I am so happy
That's why I sing
I've just one question ~
How the H (hold this note for a long time!)
do I hump this thing?
You are happy
relatives, friends are happy
But your minds are blind
the bride is not here
Do not rejoice at the altar
The ring you fix
You do not know its truth
I am not the bride
She is not present with you
Do not rejoice at the altar
The bride you wed
Is not seeing you
She is gone with the winds
She whistles with wind winds
Do not rejoice at the altar
The vows you make
Are written on a river
You are not the bridegroom
the real one lies waiting yonder
Do not rejoice at the altar
You are happy
But merely with a shadow
The white gown I wear
Hides the secret agenda of reality
Do not rejoice at the altar
Do not rejoice at the Altar×2

still my favorite
The bluest eyes I've ever seen
The pages of a magazine
I look at you in Holy White
Hollywood never gets it right
Since that eve I can't forget
The way I felt the day we met
The years go by, I wonder why
His Spirit called me from on High
It's been so long since that first song
I wonder where it all went wrong
Love waits for an eternity
Love is more than just a fantasy.
(verse 1)
Baby girl,
I love,
But, not enough,
You're the only one,
I'm thinkin of,
I could hide my love,
But, I'm sincere,
You're the only one,
That I can hear,
(chorus)
I Think I Love You, baby (you) x3
(verse 2)
I can be your man,
But, you're my world,
Baby, you're that,
Special kind of girl,
Baby, you're on top,
Like a canopy,
Baby girl, tell me,
That you love me,
(chorus)
I Think I Love You, baby (you) x3
Baby girl, I fell,
Inside your love,
You're the only girl,
I'm speakin of,
I never thought,
That I'd be here,
Girl, I never thought love,
Could just apear,
(Chorus)
Oh I Think I Love You, baby (I love
you) x4
WHITE LIES
Verse 1
You're in my mind, you're still part of me.
Here in my mind, where my heart can see.
Though you are gone, I go on--
and your memory is still in my mind!
Verse 2
Something that's borrowed and something blue.
Something that's old, and then something new.
I get along--but it's wrong--
that your memory is still in my mind!
CHORUS
I take thee forever love and cherish!
Sickness and good health, to love and cherish!
Poverty and wealth! Til death do us part!
I take thee forever, I'm forever!
I'm a part of you! My love's forever!
Even little white lies come from the heart!
White lies. White lies.
Repeat Verse 2
We were happy;
were we not?
We were lucky;
have everything we got.
It was us;
you and me.
We were nothing,
but meant to be.
All was perfect,
yet tell me why?
Why am I walking down the aisle,
and the one at the end isn`t you?
At the side you stood,
smiling at me.
My tears were ruining the festive mood,
Is this how you ought to be?
Can`t you take me away?
Why, for my happiness, you pray?
When you know I will never be,
without you with me.
My heart is killing me inside,
I walk to the end,
he takes my side
we take our vows.
And this is where it ends,
I`ll be apart from you
I can`t imagine life
without you
But what I hate the most
is not that I belong to someone else,
but your heart,
you will give to another lady.
I walk out with him
faking a smile
thinking I`ll be alright
when I see you again
I rode the car
he clutched my hand
I see you through the mirror
with a girl by your side.
I felt I could die.
You came into my life,
showed me what was right
now I believe in love at first sight.
You showed me how to feel.
Yes it feels so real.
You brought those feelings out,
I kept inside and sealed.
I love you so, and I
want you to know, as I
walk down the aisle
my love is yours forever more.
At times; I get so weak inside
never letting go of your love
now I thank God he sent you
from above.
I want you to know,
my heart will never go.
It's hear to stay for you,
the beats will always flow.
You looked into my eyes
and I told you why,
the sensational love, that's why
I will be yor wife.
"Sacred Moan(s)"
forgive the tide of my prism with its ruthless desire
shall I inter into a declaration of faith under you
am i not warm and soft to the wanting touch
with every mount of your plausible deep moan
perspiration flows knowingly to one companion to the solemnly pucked
now with pipe in plume there is poetry in the purpose of moveable parts
sing out, great nomadic performer of one,
and make delight in the warming of vacuums, that softly a wait
utter into places with giving in mind, of which can transmit intense fervor
of body, and give enthusiasm to soul~

I wrote this while attending a wedding. This is serious! lol! The traditional or
classic Japanese senryu format has three lines: the first has
five syllables, second has seven syllables and the third five syllables. The
pattern is 5/7/5 for a total of seventeen syllables. The senryu is generally about
an emotional expression.
