We Thank You O Lord

For the skies so bright and blue...
And the Sun that shines at noon.
For the sparkling stars and Moon;
O Lord, we thank you.

For the light of life you renew
and your love so fresh and pure;
for your faithfulness ever sure...
O Lord, we thank you.

For harvest's fruits nice and new;
for the shrubs, trees and weeds.
For your hands supply our needs...
O Lord, we thank you.

For the dawn that breaks anew
and our days brightened with love;
for great help sent from above...
O Lord, we thank you.

For our friends...the faithful few
and the foes the make us grow;
for the storms and wind that blow...
O Lord, we thank you.

Golden Girls Tribute

"Thank you for being a friend", that's how it goes.
Blanche will fly whichever way the wind blows.
"Traveled down the road and back again", is what they sing.
Rose waits for a light bulb, clueless to everything.
"Your heart is true, you're a pal and a confidante", goes the next line.
Sophia shares her sarcastic wisdom, making rose trick a mime.
"And if you threw a party, invited everyone you knew", as the song plays.
Here comes Dorothy, intelligent and bossy, so set in her ways.
"you would see, the biggest gift would be from me" It's almost done.
The Golden girls bring so much fun.
"And the card attached would say" as the show portrays,
"Thank you for being a friend".
Sophia, Dorothy, Blanche and Rose,
for eachother, a helping hand to lend.
The show possesses what the song does imply.
The women"s friendship a binding tie.
A tribute to them as the legend lives,
Their warmth and caring continues to give.

April Wilson-"The Golden Girls"

A Simple Thank You

You,

Have shown me how to live again.

Make all the sadness disappear.

You opened my heart to love,

Opened my mind to see.

Giving me a piece of yourself first.

Teaching me to believe, teaching me to believe. And I want to say thank you
for being the way you are.

I wish I could write a million songs.

For the music you've made me see...

I want to say thank you for being my friend,

You are beautiful to me.

day dreaming
beneath your ceiling
under your cracks of blue
on a cloudy Sunday
I was something
soothing you
Lying in the crescents
of a mystery
Am I spending
too much time with you

and we were a shoulder
alive and highly
candling the thoughts of two
oh, they say i was
spending too much
time with you
beneath your cracks of blue
day dreaming
in the streets of night
lights and colors
a shimmering absence
vacant promises

in these all night dreams
when day light seemed
to wonder and deem
until
the morning screamed
and i was crazy
how you crazed me
the jewels you gave me
drove me daisies
into hours hazel
crowded and hazy

and we were children
beyond a rhythm
waltzing in a melody
alive and highly
beneath the splinters
flowers rekindled
but they say i was
spending too much
time with you
day dreaming
in her cracks of blue

oh she loved you
she seldom left you
in the cracks of blue
across the avenue
it was nothing new
just day dreaming
souls were clinging

Staring Into My Own Reflection(Inspired By Rain Cerdiwin Keetly)

if you can see into the depths of my heart
you would hear it sing the saddest song
for those who have looked for meaning in tragedy
for those have suffered terminally
for i have fallen just like them
i have been forsaken
i've looked into your eyes and i see my own reflection
i see the tears you have cried
i know you are alone and afraid
your innocence betrayed
but look into these eyes
i have struggled and suffered just like you
grab my hand you'll no longer be alone
just think this through
for i have fallen just like you
let's stop this trend of sinking
for we are not alone
together we can break this threshold
locked in this embrace
together we will not break
bound together by something stronger than super glue
will you think this through?
will you realize that i'm just like you?
just look into this heart
don't let this world tear us apart
for i have suffered just like you
together we shall never fall
nothing can push our backs up against a wall
we will break through!
believe in me! i believe in you!

Premium Member A Man I'Ll Never Be

Growing up
My father and me
He did the best he could
Because once we were three

Events happened
And then we were two
His rise and demise
As his life withdrew

Looking back, to the memories we had
They never lasted for years
Some great, some sad
For an ill man he did his best
And in me, I have his zest

He never recovered from the loss of his son
To say goodbye to the elder one
He was hospitalised for months and years
On the day he was taken, uncontrollable tears

The years we shared
Fifteen in all
In every one
He helped me grow tall
To appreciate, what life will give
Remember your past, let your future live

He's all around me every day
For on the wind I hear him say
Enjoy your life, live happily
I hope you get to the land of the free

My reply to you Dad
As you look down on me
The Aura around you
The man I hope to be

" Happy Fathers Day to you Dad, I still miss you, your loving son James "

Tragedians

She tells me it’s hopeless
She just won’t come down
Circles are shaded
Boundaries are built to cross

Highways are fortuned
And nothing seems important
I should call her
Or I should drive my way

Are we all just kind of doing whatever
Until something real comes along
Or are we all in limbo
Just sharing our songs in doubt

So what’s your purpose
And I don’t get it all myself
And I learned from Stoppard
That life’s a gamble at terrible odds

Holding closely, to what she said
Tragedians at our finest
And the real world's
Coming for our heads

Are we all just kind of doing whatever
Until something real comes along
Or are we all in limbo
Just sharing our songs of wrong

And she just wont calm down
She says she’s been about
And around this sound
She says it’s not worth it
It’s all just a hopeless
Little realm that we live in

And I couldn’t change her mind
Even if I wanted to
So I just sat next to her
On this bus ride to Kansas city

Beautifully broken
She touched my hand and said
Oklahoma’s great
But you’re going to love this town

Fuh Da Honnies

Fuh Da Honnies
Written By: D. Collins 10/26/92

Here is a choice piece for God’s gift to man.

The unyielding force from which he stands.

This is fuh da honnies, so gifted and black.

Those of you; who have watched our back.

You deserve praise for being our strength.

You were there in the beginning, and have been ever since.

This is only a token of your due rewards.

It is only a fraction of what I’m moving towards.

This one’s fuh da honnies, who have carried the weight.

Those who’ve raised the kids, and kept the family straight.

There is no tool in which to measure your worth.

God gave man his riches while he was here on earth.

"supernatural Dean and Sam" (Tv Series)

Young god "I Know What You Did Last Summer"
you are, truly beautiful
with the utter quiver of your arrow
i do shake, with earth around my feet
i do proclaim, a soft and gentle moan
have mercy, do not set me in tempest
for i have no understanding of your young manly violent sexy storms

engage me clearly, I want two, I pledge not too, I do have the desire too...
and I with earnest in wanting, long too...
and command my willing in the most moist places to be still and quiver no more, shall
hopes keep, and knees feel dried but stay closed
too want and needs

young gods how i see your brave young masses
but my mountain must have soft snow with jagged and rough
uneven edges

willing prayers too your deity shall be given in kind
but untouched you will be~

Sometime I Judge You

"Sometime i Judge YOU"

what would i do
if i knew the real you

would i spit
on dirty hidden you

could i forgive
all your ugly big sins

is it even my place
to through it all in your face

you, the hole
you. the thief
you, the one wHO put your hands on me

so what, what
you think you got the best of me
SO IT SEAMS

so what ,what
must i wait

is this the plan
to see you BURN
in HELL

i don't want to wail~

Drink Up Genocide

Drown yourself so deeply it hurts
it tells such a story that no longer hurts
take it from me i'll tell you
this life you live will send you there
to drink up genocide in this lively air
flying and searching for nothing
while these sparks of knowledge kiss the lips
of one thousand headlights that held you tight
words of sonnets are raining hard only on the brains
of those who believe that trying never makes it
in this world of sancturary that holds this garden of words
that seemingly seep out what we all as one have been thinking
