Old Maid Someday

I'm walking on a tight rope on poles so tall.
Don't know who will catch me when I fall.
Don't know who'll dance at my wedding ball.
Don't know if I'll even ever have one at all.

'Crime Minister' Someday

     Young Todd pinched his bankers’ certificate
     Forged two more, so he had a triplicate

         Now Todd would fulfill his dream
         ‘Good old boys’ downplayed his scheme

Your smile is a late night conversation, 
It strips me bare.
You walk as if you’re a falling leaf,  
To whom gravity is gentle.
Even the air forgets me, caught in your charm.

Don't Save It for Someday

Don’t save anything for someday—
because someday is a slow thief.
It steals in whispers,
in heartbeats you don’t count,
in the space between "I should" and "I'll get to it."

Soon, the tea turns cold—
the warmth you craved fades to memory.
What once was rich, sweet, alive...
now tastes like regret.
Sitting.

Soon, your fire fades—
that spark in your chest?
it flickers...
then dies.

Someday

On the morrow good enough
If good enough be true
On the morrow time enough
Today the times are few
What once was said
Is said once more
In never ending ques
Till tomorrows become yesterdays
Todays an endless muse

someday we're not going to ,
admire the curvy roads,
we will be admired in our straight graves.
someday  the melodious sounds of birds will fade away
we will be left to drown in a forever silence
someday the standing trees would give way,
Giving way for your own space amongst them
someday our smiles or sadness shall be encoded,
 shaped

I wait for the one who might return someday

I wait for the one who might return someday,
but this "might" deceives me a little more each day,
like a distant song slowly fading in the autumn dusk,
an echo of lost footsteps on the forgotten paths of time.
How long could patience last?
Now I feel that I’ve grown tired of feeding myself with these hollow promises,
like shadows

Someday

Maybe someday we shall meet again,
Under the sun ,below the stars, or in rain
We would stand without questions and answers wouldn't be needed;
Someday we'll face each other without any guilt of having cheated.
Maybe that day we would look into each others eyes again,
When we meet, under the sun, below the stars, or in rain.

Someday

I pray that God will show us how
to fix the world, to mend, somehow
I pray good men will find a way
And joy will reign upon that day

The fighting stop, the warring cease,
and honest men to live in peace.
All people free, that’s what I pray
And joy will reign upon that day

In a world lost to raging

Die someday

I am going to die some day,
Perhaps surrounded by my children,
If I’ve managed to grow old,
Or surrounded by my friends,
If I have yet to grow cold.

It is possible that I’ll be too weary,
From a long and hard day’s life,
To hear them say their goodbyes,
The ones who have been with me,
Through trouble and through strife.

Nothing To Catch Someday

The price of over fishing
Is illegal and bad to nature
Fishing with net and drag net
Is very harmful to corals and sea beds form
Fishing on spawning season is prohibited by law
Fishing too much for business is greediness
Fishing endangered species is self sanctimonious
Over fishing is sad fishing
Over fishing kills generation
Someday, we will catch nothing.

I'll play from morning until night

The dawn is breaking
Raindrops slowly trickle down the window
Winding in a circular motion
Finally falling to the ground
She listens to him breathing
The signs of sex lingering in between the wine and the weed
She looks around
Pictures hanging in rows
Someone else's memories
She tries to remember
There was a time
A long time ago
Faint picture of a girl
Innocent
Gone now
Why the hell

they may take over this farm someday

corn got a look at the couple so young,
square dancing in the field, oh what fun!
He looks like a hick, but she is a lovely girl
Her hair parading in purple, he gives her a whirl
Corn said “they may take over this farm someday.”
We watched them more eagerly, from the mow in the hay.

Until Someday

I'll miss you, this I know for sure
All over you my heart did pour
Not empty yet, much more to go
And if someday then you will know 
I meant for you the things I've said
Not merely words came from my head
But messages from deep within
A soul that longs to love again
