Someday, We'll Talk 2
Since my mid teens, it's been
Difficult for me to make friends.
But that changed when I met you.
10 years ago, I saw myself grow.
I believe that friends are gifts from God.
That's what you became to me from the start.
Do you remember that first breakfast together?
It was clear that our bond would be like brothers.
A trusting atmosphere of trùst was created,
The kind of trust that I had long awaited.
I remember saying, "Someday, we will talk".
That day came, and I opened my heart's vault.
I felt free to share things that had been locked.
Until you, every exit of release was blocked.
Until along came you, I never dared.
You became the first with whom I shared.
God alone has access to such portals of the soul.
You were allowed into hidden spaces yet untold.
