As this week closes into hours of pewter night
may the moonlight touch your lips while
I sleep in the arms of dreams unrefined.
Though I may not be with you
on misty evenings caved by my pride,
but think of me as I send you this
whispering sigh
of an embrace feathered by the sky...
I humble myself in your presence not,
but,
wait for me to disrobe this façade,
while you can, then…

Remember days like other days
when the roof of blank shades begin
to unwrap this cloistered body
hidden in a pile of sawdust
still reeling like a glistened dragonfly.
The light bulbs of time's avenues are streaked
with marquees of a name
where the lattice of my wishes
climb into a garden of your moistened eyes so green.

Someday the Dawn

Here on a lake formed of nature’s creation,
tucked away deep in the hills
Nary a footprint along sculpted shorelines,
visions to capture the thrills

Silent reflections of all that’s surrounding,
still are the waters this morn
Sunlight invades through the meeting of mountains,
as a new day now is born

Taking a seat at the edge of the waters,
skipping a flat rock to see
Ripples of wonder in circular motion,
waving good morning to me

Now as I breathe in the air so alluring,
scented of pines ever tall
Reaching the heavens in silhouette wishes,
echoes enchanting the call

Nothing shall find me alone of this moment,
lost on the pathways I chart
For in the distance I know that she loves me,
I feel her love in my heart

Someday the dawn it shall bring us together,
here in this setting so free
For of this beauty so wondrously offered,
she is all I long to see

Premium Member Someday, Sometime, Somewhere

Out there is a stranger that I already...............love
no, you don't know me now, but you.................will
just keep looking and eventually we will..........find
a winding road that ends with you and..............me
before these short years find their end....someday
that rarest moment will surely happen...sometime
with us finally meeting face to face.....somewhere.

Premium Member Justice - Someday

For the precious little unborn souls - in the womb
But not given their chance to suck in the Breath of Life
To find their way through the dusty storms of experience
And to grow and blossom
Into the lovely beings they were meant to be

.....Will there be Justice for them.....

For the families of people murdered - unjust destruction of life
Caused by those whose cruelty and selfishness knows no bounds
Waiting with empty hope for the peace they deserve
To see their loved ones avenged through a system
Set up to help those who caused so much hurt - the searing pain

.....Where is the Justice for them.....

For the children caught up in the insanity of abuse
Their bodies and souls raped; their hearts starved for the love
And the affection that should be theirs - the wait
For the systems that are supposed to rescue them - and yet
They are returned to those who hurt them the most - and then they die

     .....Was there Justice for them.....

For the innumerable and wretched poor, needy and oppressed of the Earth
Who are always with us - deliberately kept that way on purpose
By those whose greed has bled the Planet dry
With their hoarding of wealth, riches and unbounded excesses
Cold compassion - forcing the poor to help the poor

Ignoring the request of our Creator - To Share

     .....And Justice For All?
                                       Not Yet!
                                                    SOMEDAY.....

Someday Again

driftwood--
                                                    someday again
                                                  another shoreline

Someday
my spirit will rise
it will rise like an eagle
through the rays of the sunrise
beyond the moon and the stars
and into the heavens itself.
Someday
my spirit will rest
before the throne of God
and He will examine my life
as I fall prostrate before Him.
Someday
all will be revealed
and there will be nothing
to hide.
Someday
if it were not for the
blood of Christ
I would surely be found wanting
and would be condemned.
Someday
I will stand in faith
knowing that I am His child
and The Lord God will
usher me into His kingdom
through the pearly gates
and I will be transformed forever.
Someday
God will take my hand
and I will let go of my former life
its blessings and its sorrows
and I will be lifted up
and my striving will cease.
Someday
I will be the person I was
truly meant to be
I will have great joy and peace
and I will be made whole

         Someday....

Premium Member If the Sun Should Someday Stir the Cauldron

Jealous are my delusions;
demons possessive and breathing
with persistence personified — myself
in woes and throes of sorrow
seeing not so much as a sky-high tender tea light
through the crocheted canvas of darkness
even as your searchlight searches in vain
for a flash amidst the chop of frothy broken crests
it grows ever dimmer
across iceberg seas addicted to soundless sadness

smile’s slain, a face frostbitten;
even while I vow to thaw icy veins
destined to be drained
if the sun should someday stir the cauldron…
I secretly seize the freeze
for I cannot abstain
from the dark matter of my mind

tadpoles growing in a pond
anxious for the great beyond
decreased numbers, fairly grim
takes too long to grow a limb

hiding from the larger fish
trying not to be a dish
feeding on the larval flies
protein bars in strange disguise

gain a voice before you croak
caught up in a ghastly joke
wishing you could wave a wand
hop out of this brackish pond

finally you climb a log
live your days out as a frog
in the water for a rinse
back on lookout for your prince

Premium Member Someday I Shall Fly Higher

Someday I shall fly higher than the eagle
Soar to the top of these majestic hills,
I shall breathe free and feel, oh, so regal
The sky, my kingdom, with rapture fills.

Soar to the top of these majestic hills
Where pines towering above green valleys
The sky, my kingdom, with rapture fills,
I shall reap applause with grand finales.

Where pines towering above the valleys
Reaching for the vast heavens far beyond,
I shall reap applause from grand finales
With a carefree abandon nature spawned.

Reaching for the vast heavens far beyond
I rise higher into a promising atmosphere
With a carefree abandon nature spawned,
At last, learning my reason for being here.

I rise higher into a promising atmosphere
I shall breathe free and feel, oh, so regal,
At last, learning my reason for being here
Someday I shall fly higher than the eagle.

Someday

When I open my eyes
I catch a glimpse of you
I don't know you
I know nothing about you
But every time I see you
There's something deep inside me
telling me...
of this strange feeling..

Oh how I hate this feeling!
Too afraid for this to grow, each and everyday
I don't want it
so I continue ignoring it...

But somehow...
hoping.. wishing..
that you feel the same way too
somehow.. someday..

Someday My Dream Man Will Find Me

They say I am a princess
But I don’t hear praises
About the beauty that I once had
Now it’s making me so sad

They say I am a princess in my own right
But my prince is still out of sight
Maybe he has found another
So we might never be together

They say I am destined to become a princess one day
And live with my own prince until our hair turns gray
But now I know I was decieved
Of the love I never received

But in my heart I know he’ll still find me
No matter where in the world in might be
FOR THE VOICE OF TRUE LOVE SPEAKS LOUDER
THAN THE PANGS OF ROARING THUNDER

Someday my prince will find me
I hope he will always see
The love that is all for him
For he has completed my life and my fairytale dream.

We Are Going To Die Someday

Life is an endless journey,
It won't matter how fast you run,
It won't matter how many shortcuts you take,
It won't matter how much you crib for a simpler path.

What does matter is,
How you live your life the fullest,
How much you shared and brought delight,
How many lives you inspired with your magic.

Anyways we are going to die someday,
Then why not live each day with a smiling face?
Why not be the other half of yourself you always admire?
Why not be the person who will always be remembered?

Why not be yourself once again?

Someday

Someday you may notice me.
Someday you may smile at me.
Someday I’ll take your hand
and we’ll walk together like friends do.

The feel of you hand in mine
is warm and soft so gentle.
We’ll swing our arms as we walk
and laugh like good friends seem to do.

My words to you will be light
with passing thoughts of day things.
We’ll walk together the distance
like good friends often do.

Someday we’ll be more than friends
and I’ll hold you in my arms.
I’ll care for you my sweetheart
like a husband ought to do.

Someday death we'll have to weather
Earth no longer will us tether
We will be light as a feather
Rise together, rise together!

Silently in the long dark night
Jesus will call us to His great light
Clothes we won't need for the last flight
He's our delight, he's our delight

Help me go with sense of wonder
Let me not put my hope asunder
Assured forgiven are life's blunders
Lowered under, lowered under

My spirit soars to the unknown
Where Christ is seated on His throne
As I look upon his damaged bone
Finally known, finally known

Someday Special

One day
The sky fades
I'll be free
The good day
Is someday
