Stones_
a fondation
a strength
to carry everything
pronounced on its shoulders
so tall
_thick
and it never falls
Dare you
Dare you
I see you
I see you
You can't hide
I can't hide
If we start throwing stones
Who will get hurt?
Form:
perpetual lights
silent stones command spirits
sobering vigils
vibrant cosmic fireworks
witness to our twisted lives
landslides tumbling stones
rock grinding along fault zones
~ scree of fossil bones
creek sounds / strong stones lie
stream song / low croak sigh
sparse rain / hot stones crack
deaf ears / dry worlds die
This road
This jagged edge
The sticks are stones
Now broken words
To mend these bones
We are not meant
To live alone
Once I painted a smile face
on a gigantic piece of stone
slapping blight on a noble face
some four billion years old.
On one's journey through life,
one must sidestep the stones,
they may trip over,
by not walking the same path as before.
courtship song tumbling
stream of notes, water on stones
love's sphere surfaces
Senryu composed July 20/2022
Flowers sure don't break,
stones don't ever grow flowers
Heavenly rains don't rain spirits !
Restive meadows, silent stones, shallow graves
~ in words their meanings emerge
only sticks
the bare will be
covered up soon
leaves that will bud
come alive
and make me feel
young again

before
i used to
look for proof
but again
and again and
again all I found
we're
polished stones
along the beach

Life’s Stones
iced wind cut valleys
etched in beauty of passing
stones chiseled by life

perfection
is no cathedral~
only the ghost
that haunts its stones
Memories are stepping stones
As we journey through the dark.
Shedding light on our journey home
To rekindle with the past.
They line up on the shallow river,
to give Way.......

Bits and pieces
treasures in a jar
Shells and stones
feathers and petals
Memories and happy thoughts
of daily walks and time
When against
day’s light
I tend my sorrows
warming stones
upon my shoulders
lay.

Men and women pour tons
Of concrete, cement, asphalt, stones
The humble weeds seek the Sun
Foundation. Humans quip they won!
hard worker being
he really wants that ball
horn stuck on the thorn
happy like the Sisyphus
hill that heap a sound of stones
On life's blaming ranges, of word exchanges
One view I have, let in be known.'
That the guiltiest; throw the heavier stones.'
The stones quivered,
pulsing in her hands
their beauty enthralling.

moonlight on wet stones~
the frog's leap shatter's silence
ripples kiss the shore.
