Am I chasing you
Or the moonlight of my dreams,
Like a pair of twins
Upon landing on the moon
I expect to see you too
For you, I'll keep lit up
the pathway to my heart
so you can find
your way back home to me

COMPASS POINTS
I wander
into the blue
the height
of late summer
Fall's journey around
the corner
I sit & wonder
Say
Say you love me
Say you won't let go
Say I'm yours
Why
Do I keep waiting
Waiting for my lonely heart to break
A time will come in an instant,
When all that seemed important;
Would not need to be told,
As new becomes old.
these or love tears
for these years
we got it all
out love like a wall
will never fall
together all we do
MY
LIFE WITH YOU
This world is tragi-comedic in strict proportion
~ to the pathways we tread of utter distortion
scarce
time
hurried
steps
fast

OF LIFE’S JOURNEY
At birth, life’s journey is planned;
While there will be many tolls,
God’s GPS will guide you:-
I chose my life's path
a long treacherous journey
reward promising
written December 5, 2021
curiosity interludes
dreamscape silhouettes
vermillion light shadows
light your pathway
all physical you left behind.
Awoke, rises from death,
A long journey embarks again;
Broke, loosen from faith,
Swiftly strike, no more bargain.
Invent a wish
to be happy,
reverse the contradiction
of my fear and I love
in the same way and manner
what I mean ...
its time of year
when its near
look at the sky
you smokeing high
its stays for hour
than breaks

SUMMER SHOWERS
On one's journey through life,
one must sidestep the stones,
they may trip over,
by not walking the same path as before.
inching forward home
hoping seagulls nowhere found
low tide threatens me
Entry in Journey contest.
Did not place.
Sitting happy in my bathtub
Sailing my boat
Smoothly between and around my kneecaps
When she stepped in and capsized me
Lord Harry, King of Hell
Living where the bad guys dwell
Stirring up fire and brimstone too
evil tone for my cousin Drew
A journey through the
streets of Japan
nice eats and scenic views
a beautiful place to be
as the bus
passes
through.
Stuck on brown seaweed,
its fate is sad...it awaits
death in dark exile.

My Life's Journey
I traveled a lot so far
Only to find
People with golden hearts!
Floating Leaf
by Amy Swanson
Little floating leaf
Softly swirling in the wind
Unending journey
Hope is lost.
I have lost my way.
Just wanting to find my way home.
Kept thinking I knew the way,
Little did I know.....
went out to the park
to excise as i began to start
began to complain
mabe cause was begaing to rain
it was my
KNEE PAIN
I found the old map
folded neatly there
in the desk drawer,
unfolding I see
our last journey, planned
but never taken.
