Men and women pour tons
Of concrete, cement, asphalt, stones
The humble weeds seek the Sun
Foundation. Humans quip they won!

Weeds spring from persistent seeds. Their greenery defies our propensity to develop + pave open spaces. How concrete oppresses us. I enjoyed your poem, Anil. Safe travels. Brian
