I am a Poet
I am not familiar with physics and chemistry
Will you write my name in the pages of history?
Spanish moss telling
Gray stories of the Old South
History disputes

In WW2 Sweden sheltered
Jews in desperate need
Today Swedes burn a Torah scroll
a brutish, dastardly deed
few cars for liftoff
disappointed by “no-go”
sighs and shrugs
but in 1969
it was a parking lot high
landslides tumbling stones
rock grinding along fault zones
~ scree of fossil bones
Awoke, rises from death,
A long journey embarks again;
Broke, loosen from faith,
Swiftly strike, no more bargain.
My grandfather's name
Was given to me at birth
To honor the man
That my father never knew
Having died in World War Two
it rained last night here
i zoom in the moist green earth
happy home and hearth

it was in the block
we jump and hop

we all jump hand prance
in this
SUMMER BREAK DANCE
In the game of life
Souls are won
Souls are lost
Its hard to keep Gods score
Just remember
The Romanov's had a royal flush
Homer,Chaucer, Shakespeare, Keats, Eliot
Soyinka, Okigbo, Osundare
Now me, recycling human ideas
it the time
you see the wine
grow you no
you everything
that brings spring
and the love shower
that blooms
SPRING FLOWERS
Candles flickered faint
Sistine Chapel he did paint
Though he was no saint

incarceration frees up
thoughts into a dream
Inspired by Abe's photo of Martin Luther King
I dreamt...
I was covered...
Roses...
Daisies...
Chrystals...
Good vibes...
I dreamt
of dreams..
and wishes.......

All antique memories of the eld fort
where braves fought too meet glory
