Bark
fragments-
a quiver
tree begins to
age.
Ekphrasis after Bark as art by Katherins Keats -Shell Photo Comp 2006
born today,
long ago,
another number,
as i grow,
im happy now,
as i age today,
another birthday,
along the way..
its the feeling
gets you reeling
also one who is
appealing
this never fades
you get wet you can bet
SEX HAS NO AGES
there is beauty
as far or near as
the eye can see
sometimes we have to
close our eyes and
open our minds
to see it.
winter's sunbeams flow
through dotted cumulus clouds...
ancient hands revealed
For PD...
getting to that age
where I just may
wake up dead
version 2:
getting to that age
where I just may
wake up death

old pottery jugs
cracking with the weight of age
silently weeping

Parts
missing;
untangling
ethereal
strands.

Times be rough and tough I didn't,t give up in god I trust it's fact put. Going back on the rack Am PROUD TO BE. BLACK

and what's naught
could it be
or I forgot
how much I love you
and i'm sincere
I love you babe
whispered in your ear
darkened frustration
explosions
fighting for a past

A time will come in an instant,
When all that seemed important;
Would not need to be told,
As new becomes old.
I was born at a very young age.
First the head, then my bum.
Uncertain of which town it was.
Just in the bed with mum.
From solitudes, cool treed rest's
To a chilled route's, eve-lit.
Moved on, or moodily blown?
I know, Age, which is it!
a po-at-tree
can knot one's
toil...letting...
when
th(e)-oughts go
directly to paper
as any po am
stans sand
It's a must to die!!
A must to rise!!
A must to read
A must to interpret!!
It's all a must for the sun to smile!!!!
Lovers deeply in love
Love grew and changed
Living life to fullest
Old age deepened love
my fingernails are treacherously filthy
not merely dirty
disgusting
they have hardened and yellowed
old age is a yell
clan elders
a generation's wisdom
in touch with spirits

listen
to breath's
susurration
observe
the candle's
wordless whisps
contemplate
time, past and future
now
Every
pass in time
we are at our
oldest moment--also,
youngest.

insists it must be either us or them
that prudish box
such a peculiar contrast to those Berlusconi jocks.
my tanka
an injured bluebird longing
for the branches above
but finding beneath the snow
the forgotten seeds of fall
I never want to be ninety,
forty two suits me fine,
but I guess i'll feel quite different
when I am eighty nine.
