JUNGLE

What does it matter
Bushy, gnarled, prickly or old
Green is all matter.

Jeano Violino-Resubmitted
There was violinist
He was old and grey
Loved by all but could not stay
He played the violin to the grave
And there the old violinist spends his days
With his love shed in lights of golden rays

Premium Member Uncertainties
I swam in a river of uncertainties,
as Mr moon gave me his back.
Somber dreams caress my skin,
the light within my eyes is dark.
On my last trip to the milky way,
I was sad, because it had melted.

The earth is brittle under heel in quiet little ways But leaves are bragging bright with flame as we watch the seasons change

When favored by sun

raindrops scattered through the trees

form candles of light…

Withered leaves are christened new

with lucent rainbows streaming

Last Three Months
One more chemo left.
Two more full moon I will see
Three kids still in school.

last three months, life will cut short.
one heart, two eyes, I pledge, to support.

Death
Death
Soft feet
You came by
In hard blow to
Wipe so many lives
Not a second did they
Have to make but a last wish
Which for sure would be “GOD SAVE ME."
Though god would not have listened or come
To stop time or reverse your action, rash!

I have briefly caught sight of the other side of yesterday, blinded by the sun, while running barefoot across a field of thorns I'll carve a path through weeds and stones, to reach a childhood memory.

Much like this ride, I'll walk the endless course

As seen among wayfarers’ eyes dark gold

where swallows reel above to reinforce

the edge of night, far fair, I do behold.

Despite June’s tempest, I relish life’s grace

My eyes marking the stencil of ripped trees

     A yesterday which draws me to embrace ;

The comfort of kin amidst storm’s reprise.

Premium Member Patterns On Glass
Scattered patterns made by rain
cascade down my window pane
Over glass a teardrop trail
navigates without a sail

I must stand by, helplessly
as they glisten in the light
keeping vigil through the night
in fear they're lost at sea

Ruthless is the wind It trifles without care That hearts have grown so fond Of the maple's scarlet flair~ For with the morning's dew No leaf was to be spared Each scarlet leaf has spun away Not left to bask beneath the sun No color left to stifle breaths In autumn's brilliant dawn~

Premium Member Absolutions
Listen
to the silence
adrift in the brittle sky...
I behold pointed fingers
of mute admiration

My hand
belongs to yours
in this solitude of night...
Then you show me without words
the miracle of stars

We glimpse
her bare shoulders,
as Venus brushes her hair
It tumbles in the darkness
like a quiet snowfall

Premium Member We Made a Wish

We watched the colors change the sky,
and stretched our backs against the grass
Each cloud became a butterfly.
as twilight's crimson came to pass.
The heavens turned to splendid glass.

There, beyond the dying sun,
a wish was waiting to be free.
The curtains spread, a star was hung,
so, you pointed to the galaxy,
to give my wish to me.

NEW BEGINNINGS
Shyly the tender shoots
. Aspired to reach the skies
. Each leaflet uncurling slowly
        To hum its unsaid fondest story;

Some brought smiles all around
A few left us with moist eyes...
