Notes About The Poem

Wooden Rafts Float

wooden sea- rafts float

     as the hardest beads

        the mildest prayers

offer layered dahlias

   for Holy Queen's regatta

~ Dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima's 90th Anniversary

The core of your poem is expressed beautifully through intangible images and feelings. Phrases that I like:"where the hardest beads and mildest hint of song offer layered dahlias." A spiritual lift!
