Words From Rain

surrounded by dark
drops of rain dance one by one
each forming letters

words spelled out in haste
as the next covers the last
all mean the same thing

Rain turns my soul on
attraction I can't resist,
dripping with passion
my muse drowns in the water;
Rising to whisper to me
rushing dreams
gentle endless high;
Will you slow dance with me?

Rain Dance

Sunday afternoon brings rain
It dances cold and angry on the walk
We are prisoners uneasy
Pacing a tiny dry cage
Territorial maneuverings
Obligatory utterances
We dance
Like the rain
Cold and angry

Centred everywhere
As soma nectar drips
That that is instantaneous
Is stretched in linear time
Becoming a bliss continuum
Rain dance for heart's delight

Rain Dance

Dry spell in spring
A little rain would be nice

Barnacles to the ceiling cling
Wave taller than a two story house
Folks scurrying like scared mice

Squeaking half drowned mouse
Current throw of the dice

Fakers

out of rain
out of water
garden pond dehydrated
organising rain dance
goldfish performing arts.

blondes
golden
unnatural
black roots displayed
bleached
funny women
pride and vanity shall destroy them!

Rain

let the rain dance home.
let the rain sing upon your face with blue drops.
let the rain soak your lawn.
the rain fills pools to the top.
the rain goes through the pipes and rivers.
the rain plays the flute before bed.
           freedom is rain

Rain Dance

Rain dance, rain dance, clothed or bare
It makes no difference what you wear
If you need rain, do not despair
A little rain dance here or there

But please be careful if you do
And don’t be carried away
You might wind up in a canoe
And have a lousy day

Rain Dance

Sitting on the couches ;
in the dark shadows.

Listening to the nights electrifying
 arc, light up the heavens.

Winds,rustling song;
blows through the leaves.

Frogs quiet anticipation;
the impending precpitation.

The inevitable dance
of nature ,that follows.

We smile, it's raining Jovial in dancing joy Soaked to the skin Warm hearth welcomes us Naked to bare, towelling Goosebumps diminish Pillows, rugs, two lie Face to face, lips now caress We, attraction flows Candles flickering Undulating shadows grace Unification .

Slow rhythmical shudder,
Forest Rain and thunder,

See the magic unfold,
majesty to behold,

Ruby green, spots of blue,
Feathers of divine hue,

A wild peacocks rain dance,
A glimpse of wild romance!

rain dance

Evil takes his victory lap
while ashes like confetti fall.
But demons stay their hands mid-clap,
now doubting they’ve won, after all...

For on the charred and war-stained sands,
Hope, in pink galoshes stands.

gently on the roof
water marches as rice grains,
manna from heaven
attend our homeland,
exiled clouds pour your romance
onto cracking earth.
Our poor scorpions,
in bellies of hot, dormant
wells raised their generations.
Shamans still dance in rings, arousing bands of blessing.
Timbre grows, grains gaining size, dusty dreams refreshing.

Like poetry

like a place in a dream,

Woodstock revisited.

Days of peace, love, music, meaning.

As close as one's own heartbeat,

more remote than the mountains of the moon.

Rain dance, rainfall

alights more gently than a whisper,

Louder than the thunder:

Mud city/

Barefoot Nation/

state of Mind

--- sound of one hand clapping ---

state of grace

The Rain Dance

cold and stormy
 defined in glory
wet and cold
  pattering on the stone
drops of angel tears
 that will satisfy the years
the counts of thunder
  on the heavens of hunger

the flashing light
 can give such a fright
but the rain in all
  from big to small
the smell of new land
 can connect us by hand
for the rain is dancing
  for all to enhance
so may i have this dance

Rain Dance

Table Mountain's white
What change shall the white clouds bring?
Let my lantern see

Flamed downy curtains
Will the dunes be blown away?
Shall my river swells?

Cassava clouds cling
To the mountain like a mast
Call the black outcast

Outcast rain invite
Out of bush, down the mountain
Thundering in sight

My assagai shakes
To the drumbeat of my heart
Flooding briny lakes

Feelings

I'M in desperate confusion
when the times intertwine with my own life
pushed down desperate her live reminds me of mine
alot of confusion and hatred despite my willingness to praying
i'm trying to release all my sinning so my goals and dreams
will become my reality but my reality is her with another man and me beside her
doing the rain dance in the bed
Form: Verse

The Flood

i want to be more
than a bother
to you

more than the
thorn or
torn

ligament that
stops
you

from being what
all above me
could ever

become
but to some
they say my sore

is the
worst that
i could in any

way could
be but i
hold

my tantrum as if
a secretly sacred
rain dance that

will
not by chance
bring down drowning

tears to
resounding
fits of sobbing

rain poured down cats and dogs and the worms
raven, pigeon and skylark feasted on them and soil
children swam in ponds and played polo by turns
rain poured down cats and dogs and the worms

snail left its hole and played around chess and recoil
rain poured down cats and dogs and the worms

Premium Member A Feather In the Forest

Leaving my son's house
a rain-burst had just passed.

At the edge of the wood,
contrasted against dark clouds,
a single tree stood glowing.

Wet in the sun’s rays,
its leaves shimmering in the breeze.
Like a feather in the forest floating,
Singly.

Brightly shining yellow green,
A cottonwood applauds the coming of the rains.
Waving glimmering in rain rays, wet enlightening.
Reminding me to dance in the sun.

Rain Dance

On a crisp autumn afternoon,
Much to my stunned delight,
Storms clouds morph into monsoon
With jagged spears of light
And thunder cracks of doom.

Dancing in the storm’s eye
Fat raindrops bouncing all around
Afraid I will soon die
Trying hard not to drown
So happy I could cry.

After months of summer sun
Rivers and streams almost dry
Rain pounding like a drum
No chance of blue sky
Praying more rain will come.
