The Rain Dance

cold and stormy
 defined in glory
wet and cold
  pattering on the stone
drops of angel tears
 that will satisfy the years
the counts of thunder
  on the heavens of hunger

the flashing light
 can give such a fright
but the rain in all
  from big to small
the smell of new land
 can connect us by hand
for the rain is dancing
  for all to enhance
so may i have this dance
