Hearts left on a sandy beach,
Waves then trounces and retracts,
Hearts obscures and become one,
More waves, more hearts drawn.

The color of love at first sight
needs be night to preserve it aright
Day's searing view obscures its hue
augments a blemish ever so slight

When the moon obscures the sun
close your eyes and don't look up
Let your circadian rhythm speak
to your heart, and do not fear
for the sun will reappear, soon.

rain obscures distance
hides beauty that lies ahead
floodwaters leave soon

A veil of white lace
obscures my bride's face
as she
walks with girlish grace
in her practiced pace,
look-see;
soon, she’ll take her place
standing pure and chase
by me.

Moon
Cresent
Glowing brightly
Dawn has cracked
Orange horizon
Stars twinkle close by side
Dark scattered clouds stare to see
If the sun obscures the now scene
Bringing warmth gently moving summer

The morning fog obscures, ironic in a sense,
as water particles are likewise in suspense;
muffling all sound, they coalesce in self-defense,
uncertain of their fate when sunshine does commence.

the

competes with reality,
pulls us like string puppets,
wags the tail of truth,
prevents positive emotion,
obscures historic changes,

Haiku Straying Husband
forlorn ice slit bedroom
frail flower between your legs...
ardor expires
Tanka Stay At Home Wife
hours ravage ardor
supple sin envelopes grey
thick belly obscures
erotic athletes wrestle
loyalty in lieu of love

The waning light obscures my sight
As the lonely shadows fall
The moonless night prevents my flight
As the silence comes to call
A sudden chill that chokes my will
As I face its cold attack
A bitter pill I swallow still
As my vision fades to black

Rhyme
He dreams of the girl with the long, brown hair,
Wakes up and a woman with gray streaks is there.
She dreams of the boy with dark hair on his head,
Wakes up and a bald man is sharing her bed.
Time is cruel, and our youth it obscures,
But in spite of its ravages true love endures.

deep beneath the ivory dome
pools of bending colors show
lashing out into the air
all around have stopped to stare
paint their faces to the sky
weaving out an endless lie
dripping down to blind their sight
weave them all into the night
the hazy fog obscures the view
all colors seem to start anew.

SATURN IN THE TELESCOPE
Creamy yellow disc and rings
Satellites like tiny brothers
Music of the spheres she brings
To Titan, Rhea and the others.
Moving slowly, orbit defined
Her face obscures the stars behind
What strikes me then is not the science
But the blackness and the silence

Alone she walks, her head held high
To her the crowd is indomitable,
With determination and vigor she smiles unwittingly
Never to anticipate her heart is full of torment
Bruised by the thorns in her life, she obscures her cicatrix
With make up, cloaking her beauty and grandeur ,she walks with her head held high

In the corner of my left eye
The full moon
In the corner of my right eye
Someone familiar
On front of me
The pavement, a concrete conveyor belt
Confusion of the city obscures
Annoyingly
In a blink the moon and the someone familiar
Disappear behind things
Other thoughts are conveyed to me
I wonder onwards

Despite my ravishing hunger
I am ever so full
The barrage of rolling thunder
Joins the moaning of the ghoul
The sun is blocked by clouds
The fog obscures my sight
While my soul is filled with doubts
I refuse to see the light
But the sun peeks through and shines
Despite the tyrant storm
My amaryllis flower
Of my soul has just been born

Morgenstern
Oh, in the dark at eveningtide
Brightness beams so near to Earth
And Venus magnifies it’s light
An evening star to greet the night
But afore the sun will greet the day
A tiny glow will show the way
Up in the east the glimmer dims
A blast of sun obscures it’s being
A Good morning Morning Star

Silver shot mist obscures the moon
as it hangs high in the night sky.
Radiating its light, only for it
to be reflected and fractured.
Pitch black is the night, yet also
scattered rays highlight things.
Bringing a sense of mystic
to the still silent night.
Orb of silver you enthral
as you glide and slide.
Forcefully trying to break free
and soar once more in open skies.

Ode
After all the scientific calculations, a cloud-bank
obscures the heavens. No night breezes
could erase the silence of the dark.
But still the promise of the almanac awakens
old memory and legend. The cold halls
echo with some half-forgotten prophecy.
Ageless conjunction in the heavens, planet
and comet, and star alone, connected
somehow to us, a long-lost hope to be reborn.

So now I must write
For not to, is unfathomable
As finally it stands within sight
My story welcomes the improbable
Engulfed by my phantom
I cling hysterically, to the unknown
Should this life had been a sitcom
The applause would had been renown
In the eclipse of it all
As greatness obscures the anxiety
I pause and esteem the heeded call
Right here, I could write for all infinity.

Gloaming ugly blacken sufferings of deaths chant songs;
Melancholy sullen misty dark figurative demon dance;
Stygian evil shadowed one is the darken phantom soul;~
