Which is like a fashion thing,
Does the fact I’m wearing rivets
Make me much more riveting?

When I was a little boy
There was one I called my favorite toy
Though I loved it, it wasn’t the real McCoy.
I got it in a trade with my friend Roy 
Mommy it did annoy
When Dad stepped on it, I played coy
Though a hunk of plastic I found joy
With all my games I did employ
Against big monsters I did deploy
A box of firecrackers did destroy
I really miss that toy...

The year is half over, today is the 30th of June.
The first half of this year went by pretty soon.
In just a few days, we'll celebrate the 4th of July.
Firecrackers will pop and bottle rockets will soar into the sky.
Because of this damn Coronavirus, America has been gripped with fear.
I certainly hope that things will get better during the second half of this year....

His greasy head resting on a burlap bag. 
Filling with ferrets and rats-firecrackers for teeth.

The alarm goes off-he opens the bag.
Laughing while injecting with red bull and meth..
He lives to plant a sluice box into your mind.
Washing the last nugget from your tired life....

I miss the steady clicking sound of my reel,
And the sound of the caryatids as barbecued chicken is roasting,...

He runs away from his own shadow,
looking for darkness
to assure him his shadow is not following him.

He runs away from darkness,
if he hears familiar whispers of people
he robbed their souls; people he wronged.

He feels as though he has firecrackers'
sparks burning inside him,
whenever he looks at his face in the mirror-
guilt is written all over his face.

He's a fugitive.......
