Full speed ahead
in and
for the spot light
resting between the breaths
waiting for the next
until
the final rest.
Years
devolve
becoming
fragmented time
scattering moments
across lifetimes
in final
exhaled
breaths
beneath stars
city noise pauses,
essence floats
soothing breaths
night enshrined...
cuddling quietude
Destination reached, we meet
Internal breaths ignited
Long distance, loves conquered all
Conjoined, twinned forever
A bit of rhythm
A bit of rhyme
A stream of consciousness
That sounds as it should
Over breaths of time.

Though our bodies are made of earth,
Our lives sustained by water,
Our breaths created by air,
Truth is we are essentially fire...
Inspect, I will act. Tough I'll on mercy.
Proceedings switch the color of your face,
taking breaths, piercing masses on the course.
Autumn leaves encase
A ground once caressed by heat
Tread carefully here
Beneath your feet animals
Are hiding from winter’s breath
Wind howling
like deep uncontrollable breaths;
Minds fill with the unconscious words
everyone is thinking but
no one is....
saying.
Form:
draw in many breaths
pure crisp cotton snowy air
jagged peaks beckon
snare young and old to challenge
death defying runs of ice
We take a deep breath
Hold it for a while, exhale
No more breaths allowed!

Thousands of breaths I withdrew from my life’s account today; balance unknown!

Fast, fast as it comes
It arrives, never leaves
Looping, no end or beginning in sight
Frozen in place yet moving
Deep breaths
How do men draw their last breaths?
A thousand men - a thousand deaths.
Yet, this Dodger fan, one man am I,
knows a thousand ways to die.
Dark nights in your eyes
Twist hair to the flaming breaths
Oh! I can't stop kissing you.
katauta poem.
half poem
half of sedoka
No purpose in silence,
with these breaths becoming
iron, my sharpest edges
unfurl the curtain, shredding
the flesh of solitude,
with violence.
Gentle breath of night
Passing silent by moonlight;
Scattered pages that
Fly through faded horizons,
Dark rainbow flares, starlit sights...
What remains beyond
lingering breaths, the silence
where laughter once lived?
I wait, counting the number
of days since last you kissed me.
We recall not the breaths gone by
Why then do desires make heart sigh
Making us a dead man walking
Can we not kiss ego goodbye

Foggy breaths reach ever so gently
Twirling and bending
Around the crannies of trees
Every nook was filled with
Her precious, pure, air
Each day breaths withdraw
From my life's breathing account--
My balance...unknown!

sustained
by the warmth
of empathetic breaths
squandered time and wasted breaths
conflicted feelings soothed with a kiss
round and round and round again
i think the problem is that i love him
Rain
trickles
on glass pane;
and hums gently
like eve's cleansing rite
easinq breaths. tired--
hands lift up
cuddling
mist
Asphyxiating one breath at a time
Oxygen levels not worth a dime
Gasping for breath
A step closer to death
We will soon hear her funeral bells chime
