Premium Member The Final Word

We set upon a journey
That would make us great
We decided to love our neighbors
Instead of embracing hate

We opened our hearts to the poor
A roof over every head
We measured our speech
Considering what we said

Discriminating unacceptable
Not afraid of history
Truth not a fabrication
Helping others our ministry

We took back handouts
The rich had enough
Money for education
medicine and other stuff

We protested for others
Sacrificing what we could
It was not just about us
We considered the greater good

Right mixed with left
Divisions all blurred
America became Great!
“We the People” had the final word.

The above is my hope for America.

Premium Member Too soon An Angel

"The stars beckoned her song to reach the crescent moon"

The song is sacred her heart broken black and doomed

You see the sun set upon her head making mockery

For her newborn was stillborn oh the hypocrisy

Her song was supposed to reach God and bless hearts

Instead it was one of agony and silver suffering sobs

The light of the crescent moon came through the room

As if death is beautiful weaving tears in a loon

As if her baby is an angel too soon

The Lone Soldier

As the warm, yellow sun set upon the low hills.
And the cold damp wind gave me chills.
I shed a tear that very day.
The first of thousands some might say.

My friends, my fellow soldiers.
Their death now strung on my shoulders.
For the blood shed on this field.
Forever in my heart will be sealed.

Is it a God given curse or gift that I'm alive?
The only of my regiment to survive.
For now and ever i'll bask in sorrow.
And so will the others who receive a letter tomorrow.

For we all try to decipher the need for death and despair.
To make a future for those who won't care?
Who won't honor and remember the soldiers who fought on this field.
Who's deaths, forever in my heart, will be sealed.

My Eyes Are On You

There is a wind blowing around me,
and something from the sea is draining my energy
It is dragging me towards the battered shore
And I have to take refuge behind the door
but a giant wave plucked me out and tossed
my slender frame about it covers me
and I am lost in the middle of the sea
the current keeps spinning me around
And all that I have is a cap and a crown
Oh Mother of the sea, rest your bosom
upon my knees and make haste to save me
I have no more strides left
And I am running out of breath
Cast your boat upon the shore and
Come and rescue me
before the waves swallow me
Oh mother of the sea
is this my final destiny?
I have not lived my life yet
And I am on the verge of death
Please don’t take me so soon
We have to meet before noon
I have set my eyes on you
Form the first day I met you
I was here and you were there
And when the energy breaks through the room
It filled the atmosphere with fresh air
 and from that very day
 you took my heart away
and I couldn’t look the other way
Oh mother of the sea,
Tell my sweet heart
to come and rescue me
I am lost in the middle of the sea
And my eyes are set upon thee.

Iconic Stars

Diamond boy on a late night ride with temptation cheering to good days. Like him you only see the good in people amongst all the stars. Like it prove it cause if it's up to me I'd give you all the dreams in retrograde. So, cry baby cry baby cry. I'm gonna cheer you on just so I can turn you on even with half of me to get the whole me with this spiritual love affair. I want to be with you within the heavenly stars and only you never to leave you hanging high and dry. You're a heart of gold boy. Discovering every part of you and my alter ego it's like being in the lime light while the garden drip tantalizes the blind sights of many for every eye to be set upon you and the other side of who I am. we will be iconic stars stars stars iconic stars burning hot like the heat of monochrome film.

Premium Member Vines Of Winter

Crystallized dew drops scatter across vines in winter,
while I can feel the harsh grip of the season reaching for my throat,
slithering ever closer, bitter air sweeping across crackling skin.
Loneliness weighs heavy beneath ashen clouds that coat the skies.
The scent of dry ozone fills my nostrils as I struggle to breathe.
A step upon the gelid ground makes my feet shake, trying not to fall.
I look out in every direction, seeing nothing but the barren carcass of what was once summer~
when the warmth of days seemed to stretch on forever.
The scent of fresh pine once wafted through the breeze;
those days are now just a bygone memory,
shattered , lost in the frozen mist.
I rub my hands together, desperate to feel something beyond the numbness.
I continue onward with my journey~
there is no time for rest now.
The sun begins to set upon alabaster fields below,
and the wolves begin their search at dusk.
I must find your burial shrouds before they do,
for they are the only way to bring us back together again.

One Air

My eyes have seen the shadows of God
His might was in my sight
He saw my sorrow
He saw my plight
In times of need I called on him
He knew my name
He knew my ways
My eyes have set upon the glory of God
He dwells within my temple
His spirit ever flows in my blood
Justice to see he belongs to me
I and my God are one
My God is who I have become

After Sunset

The sun set upon the hill
Leaving meadows in the shade,
Trees lost their colour bright
As also waters of the lake.
Flowers too drooped their heads
While silent waters lay still,
No shimmering on the surface
While blazed the setting hill.
People now came out to walk
And some to taverns filled,
Children returned home from school
While elders in the sunset thrilled.
Froth in the crystal glasses
Twinkling like the stars,
Down the hatch gurgled streamed
With winking tail-light of cars.
The leaves and flowers drank the dew
Poured from heaven above,
Mothers prepared meals for night
For children whom they loved.
Darkness soon overtook the light
With stars in the sky,
Sleep is heavy on the lids
With grandma’s lullaby.
Creeping into darkness; hours
Rolled limberly by,
Soon darkness will be filled
With sunrise in the sky.

She is more than the eyes
you set upon her,
she is the fire in her veins

Running off at the mouth

Get me a job as a mime
Help me get out of this rut
I need something that helps me
To keep this big ol' mouth shut

I don't think before words fall
Oft' don't hear them for myself
Sometimes I think I should be
Stuffed and set upon a shelf

Sometimes I make people laugh
Other times I make them cry
Not thinking before I speak
And too slow to even try

Can even amaze myself
With the stupid things I say
And I hear the echoes loud
That just will not go away

I can talk to anyone
Well, I even talk to me
And what makes it so much worse
I rarely make apologies

Premium Member Howling truth ambushing the flock

Wolves are smart creatures
they do not devour old sheep
when there is plenty of young to prey on
so their focus is set upon the mother
because she will do everything in her power
to defend her baby
Singling out one of the weakest in the herd
they begin to prowl on their mission
once targeted dividing them causes chaos
Not knowing what is coming
the predator is directed by an alpha in this group
learn the ways of nature its then you see the devil at work
need a person say more when the bulls eyes on your back

Premium Member The Sublime Myth

Meaning hangs on a wing
and briefly holds together,
tipping on some fine edge,
a feathers weight from oblivion.
Take this evening, a sunset
settling upon the water, the fleck
of a small boat with its solitary figure
floating the still, birds flying overhead,
each a part of a moment
sliced from a second.

Mere coincidence, a chance picture
put together by a confluence of things
in a corner of a vast cosmos.
The birds trailing their cries
in long threads across the sky
seem to hymn a lament,
the dark slowly closing over
the world like a large eyelid
before the coming of night
and the onset of sleep.

There is nothing but a sublime
myth to keep the soul awake,
to make of what is passing
into something permanent,
meaning kept afloat on that
small, distant image of a boat
set upon a blessed sea,
it's existence flickering in
and out of a pale beam
of hope.

Premium Member Navigating the void

Emptying heart of seeking and desire,
no thoughts arise and therefore ego dies,
whence presence, now an ethereal fire,
in the void of no-thingness, wingless flies.

The primal celestial music within,
reverberates with omnipotent force
deep in cave of heart, so we go therein,
becoming the flame, changing our life course.

Time and space dissolved, as we vaporise,
transformed as that, we had set out to seek,
feeling breath by breath, rapture within rise,
soul imbibes grace of which we may not speak.

The pathless path we have thus set upon,
finds us in each moment of time reborn.

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO WELCOMES OUR OFFERINGS FOR HIM

February 14 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Numbers 7-8

Key Verse – Numbers 7:3 And they brought their offering before the LORD… and they brought them before the tabernacle.

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO WELCOMES
OUR OFFERINGS FOR HIM

Praise be to God for welcoming
our offerings for Him:
Sanctified for His anointed purpose
Set upon His altar of prayer
Sincere according to His plan
Sacrificed along His providence
Surrendered by His approval-perfection.

Numbers 8:3 Praise be to the Lord Who
brings light to our lamps while we:
Testify about His goodness against despair
Trust His great direction
Triumph in His grand doctrine-distinctives
Thank His great deeds
Toil for His Gospel-declaration

Numbers 8:11 Praise be to the Saviour
for enabling us to execute service-performance:
Enlightened by His Word
Examined through His ways
Established in His work
Empowered along His will
Esteemed with His worth. Amen!
