just now, how your smile
lightened my day and did chase
dark shadows away

grocery aisle
walking in shadows
of lost love

Premium Member SENYRU SQUIRREL

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sean the famed squirrel poet scribbled two senryus
On acorn caps with gold iridescent walnut hues.
     His first verse: "Tail flicks high—
     Nuts buried nearby!"
The second? "Winter's stash? Lost. Oh poo."
senyru
shadow in the aisle
where a friend and I
once stood
                         Be the enchantress,
                         Drive them to loving madness,
                         Watch the moon undress.
my tears fall on stone
           my cloak of sorrow heavy ...
                        the mask I wear smiles
Senyru
midnight reflections
in my room
light turned on
What they do saves lives.
Senryu writes are great,
sadness in a few words,
scintillating love too !
Secluded thoughts expressed,
shrine to human feeling,
sedate but powerful,
serene in the moment !
Senyru On Mankind
One man, many thoughts
Some intelligent, some not
One versatile brain
Deep inside himself
Waiting for acknowledgement
Is a better man
To heed your true self
Be open minded, patient
Take a deep breath, leap.
