Senyru- It Is Done

in one last death gasp
a son calls with a sad sigh

                it is done father

The best of the bunch in my book. Your image of Easter is clear and concise like a haiku should be. Congratulations.

Wow! Like all great Haiku, this could have so many interpretations... then you see which contest it's been written for and that one fits so well. Good luck with the contest!

What a lovely Senyru. I have the greatest respect for these forms of poetry, having a Japanese daughter-in-law, who has inspired me a lot, including believing that less is more, and you have in these 3 lines conveyed that and invoked emotion as well. Brilliant, a 7+++
