As Far As It Pains; As Much As Its Gains

             A lost sheep wanders...
          The shepherd once wonder;
In the jungle of silent Lion,
             If not already fed upon
              To satisfying hunger.

             The shepherd ponders...
If his route wasn't a blunder-
To search or rather go to zion,
          Where spirit over flesh won
           When time is still younger.

                    A David; absent,
                 The day is now frank:
             Gradually near to the dark,
To become more scary in search
              Of unrest sheep, hope seek.

                  A Samson confront...
              The nightmare, light prank
               Seductively to disembark
            From searching... to try church,
              While strength isn't yet weak.

                        As far as it pains;
                     As much as its gains...
               Of persistent tease, you pull,
              Makes desirous victory be full
                 Vigorous try, daily attains.

Old Flame

Unexpectedly, I heard she was still alive.
She had been living (as a flame),
in a room
I had made for her in my mind.

I had kept her there tucked away,
sedated and forever young.
Now I hear she is alive, though a little arthritic,
and living in Sussex with four cats.

Of course, the affair must now cease.
The fantasy cauterized,
her body heat squeezed out of my bloodstream
like a spicy toothpaste.

I should hate for her to see me as I am now
besides my own youth has become a ghost to me,
but perhaps just one more time
I will enter that secret place
where I know
she waits for me, still smiling seductively.

Inky dark night. Jewels in the heavens sparkle like diamonds in a necklace. The Seven Sisters wink seductively while trying to sit in Cassiopeia’s Chair. Orion chases Ursa Major and her cub when he stops to slake his thirst from the Big Dipper. Great Leo butts’ heads with mighty Aries. Sirius, the Dog Star, is the glowing eye of Canis Major as she helps Orion track Ursa. Faint Polaris guides mariners to home port from the tail of The Little Dipper.

new moon
a black palette rules the sky
stars come out to play

The distant galaxies show off their faint light as clustered pinpoints as if the black curtain were pricked multiple times by a needle. Sagittarius points the way to the center of the Milky Way. Nurseries of star forming clusters birth new babies to populate the sky as old ones blow up and die. In the middle lie the monstrous supermassive black holes which suck all light in to their mighty maws bending time and gravity to their will.

	are they our ancient home
	signals from a distant past
	will we return to them

Last night we composed
Our own serenade,
Then danced to the tune
Orchestrally played.

Touched chords in my heart
Reached notes never heard,
As we moved to our beat
Without singing a word.

Not a step out of time
Nor a note out of tune,
The melody resounding
Throughout every room.

Our own private aria
In harmonious streams,
Led a soulful sojourn
Into Elysian dreams.

Forevermore written
It cannot be unheard,
Seductively playing
Without singing a word.

Hypnotically peaceful
Serenading my mind,
Composed with pure love
As two souls intertwined.

Embrace

I long for your warm embrace,
To be held into your loving arms,
To be kissed of the face,
With you I feel secure, there’s no harm.

The scent of your mahogany musk cologne,
Fills my nostrils to the core,
With you I’m never alone,
I love you forever, I am sure.

My temperature rises as your hands glide down my spine,
Your lips come to find mine and softly you press,
I am your beloved and beloved your are mine,
As you seductively with your eyes me you undress.

The fire and flames within me feels like hundred degrees,
Our bodies drawn together in such deep fiery passion,
On a summer’s night the gentle cool breeze,
Our emotions colliding together, our minds into our imagination.

Your embrace is all I ever need from here till eternity,
Hold me into your arms, love me ever more,
Make this embrace last for all infinity,
This is all I'm ever asking for.

Layla, Lilly and Lollypop lollygagged through life
Making musical merry mischief for Mr. Farmer’s wife
Nestling near nasty Nicholas’ notoriously sharp needy knife
Optimizing oscillating orneriness’, forging a fit of fife
Practically perforating Polly’s pretty pastel pail
Quizzically questioning queenly Quarks quarreling quail
Responding with respect and responsibility, rendering road rail
Seductively seeding a sassy stormy sandy seductive sail
Trying to travel to Tripoli, to tie a terrible tiger’s tail

Threads of Enchantment

Her Impression imprints and invites
Delightfully smiles
Seductively replies
Her reflection reflects that night
Aspiration desires to be right
Whether the notion seems a bit bright
Souls reunite and excite
Sprinkle the sparkles and penlight
Strangers strike
And rewrite what’s inside
Devotion defines
Inclination inclines
When coherence collides
And faith decides
Emotions swiftly guide
Her Impression imprints and invites
Wondrously Wonders
Mystically twists
Gloomy shadow fades away
And her brightness circulates and portray
Thoughts replay
Imagines convey
Her Impression imprints and invites
She survives and is alive
Thrust of hope will describe
Beauty designs
Emotion divines
Her Impression imprints and invites.

Beautiful Soul

Beautiful Soul

His voice, his face, his body, his attitude
All expressions of great beauty
Loved by many, adored by many, hated by many
Few really knew his inner beauty they just seen his looks
Looks so beautiful, so adoring, so seductive.
Women flocked to him by the thousands wanting him, yearning for his touch, his words of love and commitment
Few got it-few understood his real soul
The darkness that filled it, that showed him their true intentions
He yearned for his soul mate, the one who loved him the most
His inner demons, his flaws, his imperfections
He seen her in a photo and knew
She was his and he was hers
Only when he dared to go outside of his comfort zone was he able to touch her
When they touched sparks flew, the sky opened up with light and warmth
Excitement and warmth filled their bodies as they touched looking seductively in each others eyes
Only then as he looked into her beautiful eyes did he realize the soul he had been searching for was not one of outside beauty
But inside beauty, beauty that would show him pure love, trust, comfort, and extreme joy

Stormy Seas

Serene sunset, star studded sky, seamen setting sail,
Sixteen salty sailors, surveying southern seas,
Singing somewhat spicily, saucy sea shanties.
    Sea sirens serenading, seductively sedates,
Sailors sleeping senselessly, soon sacrifice shipmates.
Shipwrecked sailors swimming, seeking sandy shores.
Spiral sea shells strident sounds, staccato semaphores.
Steering south, steel steamships, start searching stormy seas,
    Searchlights, sirens, struggling, serendipity succeeds.
Soul - searching self survivors, salute salvation's sanctuary.

Premium MemberDebbie, My love

I paced placidly along picturesque pathways,
Around the vast verdant valley that led nowhere.
Oh Debbie, my Debbie, disappeared in thin air!
I'll search and I'll search and mutter a prayer,
I texted her and called her, but alas all seemed in vain.

Ah Debbie, my Debbie, I shouted her name.
All echoed back at me. still, I yearn for her love.
I imagined her hot lips, lingering on mine,
Yet she escaped me and flew like a rock dove,
But why, oh why? We fitted like a glove.

The blissful breeze blew through the cottonwoods,
"I'm here! I'm here!" Her voice echoed impulsively,
Elated I searched among the trees near a river.
I saw her there, beneath the willow, seductively.
I ran and hugged her tight, with all our fecundity.

Premium MemberLennon and Napalm

The Beatles split up so mystically -pronto
the Vietnam spine came back together
some branded the blame into Yoko
some tied a wreath of thorns on the reds.

Imagine time moving queerly along-
Lennon was so very seductively shot
rice paddies are still pocked with craters
where peasants' cast ancient nets into ponds.

The Beatles will never peace back together.
Vietnam will never again be war torn apart
Some are still putting flame onto Yoko
some are still napalming those with red hearts....

Aren't we still wishing to appease mother Saigon...
Aren't we still casting nets, to recapture Dear John?

Premium MemberLady Fuchsia

She’s dainty and pretty in pink and purple
Modeling her ruffled dress and her fuchsia hat
As her long and slender legs dance in the wind
She’s intoxicatingly beautiful and enchanting
Wild bees seductively buzz all around her
Waiting to taste her dewy petals and nectar
A hummingbird stops and sips in her beauty
The wind picks up as her ruffles sway all around
A light rain quenches her in a cool misty dew
Her whimsy’s short lived as she soon drops off

"Blue"

I stand at the shore
you make your way into me
seductively,
I could question your liquidity
your market is silk laid
weighed by the measure of time
your hands of satin wash
deep blue over me
you pull me further out into you;
you're in deep now, all over me
I feel your embrace around me
the reach of your current
electrifies me
do I protest?

no – this is firm in the mind

I wrap my legs around your indigo
you think I go with your flow

you take me further out
much further out than I ever intended to

for it is too soon
too soon

you think I go with your flow
I wrap my legs around your indigo

I am Calypso
I ride you home

feel, feel, feel
delight, delight, delight
in rapture of bliss magnetism
as the benign flame caresses us
beauteously, enigmatically
lovingly, seductively
that we awake
