Killick

As I sail through this life, adrift, unmoored,
I wonder where the current will take me.
I know I'll have to traverse rough water,
smooth water, calm, even rapids on this journey.
I hope to find love along the way, along with
happiness and joy. I hope that the days over
troubled water do not overwhelm me nor
outnumber the days of calm. I want to see
the sights as I drift along, feel the current
on my feet.

I want to travel, to see nature,
to feel the breeze. I want to experience all
the wonders of this life. I want to spread
happiness and joy. I want to mean something
to someone. I want to create, I want to read,
I want to write, I want to see, to just be.
I want to soar with the clouds, sing a melody
with the sea. I want to feel, to touch
and hear everything I can before the killick
must moor me.

my nephew

my nephew

Twinkle twinkle little star, I see what a wonder you are
Laughs and cries, screams and hollers
Oh what a scholar, you are
I see the sea in your eyes
That once were mine.
Sail through and wide
For you, and your heart
You are great things, keep that mind.
For you, the world is yours
And you are mine.
For you all is kind.

Family men

You may know — she screamed a lot,
But you may not know that he was still holding her along.

They say, and they repeat,
Calling him the villain in stories incomplete.

Yes, he may seem inhuman and vile,
But not every man walks the same trial.

Remember — he is a person too,
Burying his dreams for the ones he holds true.
He walks under scorching mid-day rays,
He doesn’t cry — he survives every phase.

Yes, I’m writing about him, again and again,
Because behind his smile, hides silent pain.
The brother saving for his sister’s fate,
Missing home, but never showing it’s late.

He has promises to keep strong,
He can't be weak — he has to sail along.
Yes, he must sail through life’s stormy shore,
Even when the world shakes him to his core.

No applause. No mercy.
He is a family man — he must swim surely.
He can break, he can fail,
But like a mountain, he must prevail.

He cannot drift —
He must be the stone that bears the shift.
He is the pillar, the silent flame,
Carrying his home, without name or fame.

That’s why he’s quiet.
 That’s why he smiles.
Because he’s not just any man…
 He is a Family Man.

From roof to our feeder on tree

they sail through air sure as can be!

Not one ever missed-

they're born to persist!

Each squirrel's aim, a guarantee!

"Someday, somewhere - anywhere, unfailingly, you'll find yourself, and that, and only that, can be the happiest or bitterest hour of your life." ~ Pablo Neruda

I sail through citrine waves of the moon’s pulse,
weaving my spark from sea-stars
numb to the blaze of a dream-lashed gaze ~
mute to the masked mist of ghosts,
as somehow between the seraphic sighs
of rising Luna and the aching sun,
there I found my muse crawling and cradling~
clouds of love bathed in luminous lavender…

So tonight, must I heed black-magic mantras,
spelled in neon gold by lips that lie,
or shall I wade through caramelized clarity,
for I’ve long homed hues of blooming twilight,
brushing the wistful heart of waning dusk,
drowning fiery flares within vain veins,
while the wind assumes I’ll touch no sand,
anchored by timeless traces of poetry...

I am the captain

I am the brave sailor
My crew mates, friends,
Clothed in sorrow
Like lost children
Following the nearest stranger home

I lead them with my heart
As we sail through the masses
Of our duly colored peers
But the captain of a ship
Isn’t the best navigator

I feel the pull of the crowd
As I lose myself to the bleak
And leave my crew to drown
In the waters of self pity and despair
I leave them to the gray

A monster lurks, waiting for it’s prey
To snap the souls of the peaceful
To steal the fire from the fierce
To squander and squeeze the hope out of the dreamers
To make us all obey, all conform

I was their captain
The peaceful, the fierce, the dreamers
They were my crew
Now they blend into the others
Now they all obey, all conform

I found a new one
A peaceful person
A fierce person
A dreamer
But most importantly
I found a navigator

I am the captain
Who saves lost souls from drowning
In the waters of the dark and dull
They are my navigator
Who steers us to the next lost child

I am the brave sailor
My crew mates, friends
Bulging with light
Like the moon
Through the saltwater of the night

Premium MemberDays In A Life

some days
you quiver
as melancholy runs
it's cold hand on your skin.

some days...
resplendently sunny;
spirits and bright smiles
as warm as a Summer afternoon.

some days
you can't wait to start;
you spring up
with a pep in your step.

some days...
rough to sail through;
you feel so broken
you'd rather not get out of bed.

some days...
strange and confusing;
you don't know
which way is up or down.

yet, you persevere...

so worry not
what lurks in the shadows.
get under today's sunlight
and bask in it.

For 14 Feb

When birds start to chirp bright,
We both on boats, loaded with hugs and hopes,
sail through serene scopes
to savor sweet and splendid sight.

When cicadas no longer chant aloud,
We both on kites , filled with love and luck,
fly on the sky nip and tuck
to flirt with rose-clothed cloud.

Sailing

There are days when the water exhales softly,
its glass surface holding the light like a promise,
and my boat -
once battered and splintered -
glides steady,
sails catching the wind
at just the moment I need them to.

The storms don’t forget me.
They linger at the edges of the horizon,
a dark smudge
where sky and sea bleed into each other.
I’ve stopped cursing their coming.

The waves still have teeth -
they gnaw at my bow,
leave me clinging to salt-soaked wood,
the tremor of survival
shaking through my hands.

But the wind -
I trust it now.

The calm was never meant to stay.
The storm will rise again,
roaring through me,
dragging me beneath its weight.
But I’ve learned to sail through it,
tilting my sails just so,
carrying the strain, not fighting it -
cutting through the water’s fury,
and moving forward,
even when it’s just an inch at a time.

The sea is vast, endless,
its horizon unwritten.
But for now,
the calm is enough.

And when the storm returns,
I will sail through that, too.

The Call of Peace:

The Call of Peace:
Together For Peace:
Exercise AMAN 2024:
O call of Duty call of Peace
We are here.We are here.
O earth beloved all of Peace.
We are here.We are here.
No matter what we call it so,
As all the Oceans paint in Blue.
We sail through the tide of Love.
We know the Dream of Peace is true.
The deepest of the truths we seek
Come share the knowledge of the known
O warmth blessing you live long
Leave hate forever all alone
No matter what we call it so,
As all the Oceans paint in Blue.
We sail through the tide
of Love.
We know the Dream of Peace is true.
This hour of our togetherness
Soul of Such moment is Noble.
Whisper of truth is unison
These chanting echoes are global.
No matter what we call it so,
As all the Oceans paint in Blue.
We sail through the tide of Love.
We know the Dream of Peace is true.

“In silent seclusion, we question the haunting whispers while losing air, craving just one last second within moving minutes of healing” Quote by Poet

I'm lost between dusky dews of twilight,
tethered to the tomb of withered flowers,
trailing souvenirs within frosted hours,
as stars wane like ghosts, stealing the skylight,
splattering ink across a somber maze
in hues of dreams and periwinkle haze,
to paint crestfallen roses with reasons~
veiled behind verses of balmy seasons.

But will the wind and waves merge in stillness;
unleash elixirs to heal the broken,
and voice the hurt that remains unspoken?
Or am I to forever sail through sins~
across woeful seas of peridot pins,
like a mere outcast, silenced by sickness…

A mighty ship, Titanic

They built a ship,
to sail the blue.
A sight of wonder,
a dream come true.
They thought they built,
a mighty view.
There is no sea,
it can’t sail through.

But they were wrong.
For what they built,
was not so strong.
It brought them death,
that is for sure.
In the dark of night,
too far from shore.
An iceberg hit,
and flank it tore.

Husbands and wives,
did not survive.
Even the children,
did lose their lives.
With great Valour,
all rich and poor,
did give their lives,
to force majeure.

The ones who lived,
and had survived,
could not forget,
the souls deprived.
As for the owners,
who were Britannic,
could not forget,
the great Titanic.

In Between

There might be those who sail through life
And never hit a snag,
While others plod along or fight,
Each day another drag.

For most of us, it’s in between,
A balance, I suppose,
With lovely highs in opposition
To the awful lows.

So much is out of our control
And we can never guess
What ups or downs tomorrow holds
To bring us joy or stress.

No matter how we plan our days,
We’ll come to realize
The only certainty in life
Is that it mystifies.

Premium MemberLandslide By Fleetwood Mac

I took my love, I took it down Climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the* snow covered hill
'Til the landslide brought me down Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changin' ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life? Mmm
Well, I've been 'fraid of changin' 'Cause I built my life around you
But time makes bolder children get older
And I'm gettin' older, too 2x
Well, I've been 'fraid of changin' 'Cause I built my life around you
But as time makes you bolder children get older
And I'm gettin' older too, I'm gettin' older, too
take my love and take it down you climb a mountain you turn around
if you see my reflection in a snow covered hill
the landslide brought it down
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well, a landslide brought it down, let the landslide bring it down.

Note to readers, the lyrics are not my own, but property of Fleetwood Mac
as title suggests.
