Your eyes shine like diamonds
    your teeth gleam like pearls
  Your nose so refined
    your hair graced with curls

  I love your soft skin
    and the silky shape it's in
  So, darling, it's time to pop the question ~
    Why's your breath scare me to death?

Megan, My Love

I wish there were a proper way
To truly convey how I feel about you
I find it absurd that I can’t find the words
To really express a love this true
Never in life have I wanted a wife
Now you make me want to hit one knee
Just to pop the question and not think twice
Looking into your eyes makes my whole body weak

You’re my everything
My heart and my soul
You’re the reason god gave me breath
You run through my mind
I want you all the time
I crave only you
I’ll accept nothing less

I love you

Premium Member Engagement Night

We carpooled every day
I was in love, what can I say?
It was far too good to be true!
She was so beautiful to view!
She was like heaven to touch
I wanted to hold her so much!
But I was driving so had to wait
Until that night on our next date!
I thought a while to find a way
To pop the question and hear what she’d say
She said yes, and that was the start
Of many wonderful years, “be still my heart”!!

Premium Member To Kneel Down

I'd propose to you, but my knees are shot
   To kneel down hurts me a lot

Anyway, what I'd rather do
   is pop the question with my arms around you

Fairy Tale

A glittering glowing vision,
When you walk into the room,
Sparkles here,
Rose petals there,
Aroma filling the air,
A sweet vanilla,
With a touch of cinnamon,
Bubbles in the bath tub,
Filled up to the rim,
Candles lit on the sides,
Champagne in crystal glasses,
All beautifully waiting,
Just in the other room,
Walking further in,
The significant other on one knee,
Going to pop the question,
Wish for you to be with thee,
Tears fall from your eyes,
As you want to say yes,
But everythings all of a sudden,
Why couldn't it just wait?
A deep breath,
And a leap of faith,
The words that comes out is a yes,
While they sweep you off your feet,
In this fair tale,
Of old school,
Never before,
Defeat.....

Roses

He gives to her,
A yellow rose,
A symbalization,
As the way things flow,

A red rose,
Left single on her pillow,
A sign of his love,
That to his beloved,

Pink roses left,
In a beautiful shaped bouquets,
Leaving a not behind,
Just of his appreciation and gratitude,

Last but not least,
A single white rose,
Held between his teeth,
With a ring in his hand,

Asking for it to be,
The beautiful essence,
Of just a small amount of petals,
What are you going to do,

When he chooses to pop the question??

Premium Member It's Not Me, It's You

It’s not me, it’s you…
I say this to you and bid adieu.
I should have known your profile was too charming.
Don’t propose on the first date, it’s disarming!

Live a little and have some fun.
Don’t pop the question before it’s begun.
I almost fell out of my chair when you proposed.
Maybe it was the wine that left you predisposed.

So I say again, it’s not me, it’s you…
You scared me off before the meal was through.
My ex proposed to me on the first date too…
It was déjà vu… and now it’s adieu to you!

Maybe If I Was a Boy

Maybe if I was a boy, things would be better,
Maybe if I was a boy, when I feel hurt my eyes wouldn’t get wet,
I’d just relax after being upset.
I’d have so many girls I wouldn’t know which one to text,
Don’t wanna seem like a bad person but all I’d need is sex,
And if her personality is good then I’d treat her like my queen,
I wouldn’t rush for her to get in my sheets,
Then after she’s eighteen
I’d get down on my knees,
Then I’d pop the question “Will you marry me?”

Death of the Future

Years to grow a pear tree
Groom it
Water it

Dreams of sending it to college
Rites of passage
First Dates
Learning to drive

Pop the question

But the pear tree dries up and dies
No seedlings to prove that it was mine

So you're too cool to finish up high school.
consider that no one will hire a fool.

You might be fine with selling fries and burgers.
Take some classes, sell some bigger orders.

Before you cut along the penciled line,
Get out your ruler, measure one more time--

Before you cook your specialty times three
Make an ingredients inventory.

You won't impress that pretty girl so fine
If you can't pay the bill for wine and dine.

Before you finally pop the question,
Give her an honest evaluation.

If you want a newly-wed apartment,
Think smaller--there is a big down payment.

Can you even afford car insurance?

Broken Hearted

When I was a little girl,
I would always want someone to love me for me,
Not for the way I look, talk, or what I can do for them, just for me and who I am.

I would always wish that, that special someone would take my hand
and say those three little but powerful words.
I love you, will you be mine?

Now that I'm older, I've found someone that truly loves me for who I am.
We've been together for three years.
I kept hoping and hoping he would pop the question, he never did.

It's been a very long time since I've felt love like, until then I will be
Broken Hearted.

The Proposal

he stood alone in the darkness
just outside her door
he stood alone in the darkness
would he be alone for evermore ?

tonight he'd pop the question,
tonight he would propose
tonight he'd ask her to marry
this woman, his gentle, tiny rose

he took the ring from his pocket,
and knelt upon one knee
he would propose right there,
for all the world to see.

frightened, he rang the doorbell
the world was quiet as a mouse
slowly the door opened,
Aw crap ! its the wrong bloody house !

Heaven On Earth Extended

For all its worth
How many heavens on earth?
I pop the question
Answer me
For all its worth
Creation, importance growth
Right here in this heaven
Right here on this Earth
Speak good, do good
For all its worth
Isn't this heaven
Right here on this earth?
Explore, discover, and the joy
Will bring you more
Heaven
Right here on this earth
For all its worth
Good deeds, fresh feeds
Filling the needs
Of family, friends and foes
Right here in heaven
Right here on this earth
For all its worth
Desperation, destitution, no resolution
Diverse arguments, increased confusion
No fixes, no facts, failure to act
Cry your need and your heart will bleed
Right here in this heaven
Right here on this earth.
For all its worth
Prostitution, enslavement,
confinement and traverse
The hell hole, dung hole
No pardon, pure sore
The the knocking on the door
Right here in heaven,
right here on earth
For all its worth
No pacification, only victimization
And then criticize
the triers, bystanders
And the afflicted souls
That bites the bullets
In perilous goals
For all its worth
Right here in this heaven
Right here on this earth

Revelation: Curtain Call

Revelation

As I began to write, my mind paces back and forth;
With comprehension comes thoughts of discernment, henceforth;
Vivid pictures of togetherness, flashes before my eyes;
An epiphany reminds one "blindness was unwise";
Through ignorance we misconstrue intentions of sincerity;
As I reminisce, your touch was truly a rarity:
From here on, sweet love and care is the way onwards
No more fights, romance shall be straightforward;
Visions of you and I, so crystal clear;
Your unconditional love visible through a tear;
Through endless worries i can feel your pain;
Try to understand, we ain't all the same;
The only girl in the world, my expression to you;
Dreams of eternity nothing more than true;
To your hearts content, I will please you like no other, my way;
Talking, holding or loving you each and every day;
Actions speak louder than words so here I am on bended knees;
I pop the question with a nerve raking please;
These aren't just words nor is it flirtation;
Baby girl, forever more as my wife is the revelation;

Yes?

Deep feelings of bliss
love and rejoice,
confusing thoughts
that leave me no choice.

Should I kiss you
or should I wait,
our love's the catch
your lips the bait.

Do I need to ask
should I even dare,
wedlock's the question
for a perfect pair.

When I look into your eyes
I can't help but to feel,
the warmth of your soul
heaven has to be real...

Answer me baby
though it may cause some stress,
when I pop the question
will the answer be yes?
