The Proposal

he stood alone in the darkness just outside her door he stood alone in the darkness would he be alone for evermore ? tonight he'd pop the question, tonight he would propose tonight he'd ask her to marry this woman, his gentle, tiny rose he took the ring from his pocket, and knelt upon one knee he would propose right there, for all the world to see. frightened, he rang the doorbell the world was quiet as a mouse slowly the door opened, Aw crap ! its the wrong bloody house !
