You're beautiful like no other,
Your smile can melt the hardest stone,
You were raised well by your mother,
Good home training you've always shown.
Many stars shine in night's vast sky,
But none as bright as the dog star,
With wisdom no one can decry,
With joy no foe can ever mar.
Joy not only shines on your face,
It lights a beacon in my heart –
Your beauty blooms with pomp and grace,
The love you bring forth from the start.
You're a beauty with great wisdom,
A genius blessed with brain and poise,
Love and grace flow in your system,
With candor yet making no noise.
Well-blessed is the day you were birthed,
Your uniqueness that day unearthed,
The sun ever since shines brighter,
And darkness descends much lighter.
Your gentle breezes clear the skies,
Cries of hatred your love dries,
Had two more like you graced the world,
Peace everywhere would be unfurled.
It stands tall
proudly pointing to the sky
reaching high toward the sun
with hints of purplish blue peeking through
Buds open ever so gently
cautious shy and humble
unsure at first of their regal stature
unaware of their innate majesty
The iris parades its generous petals
ample and graceful
floating graciously
with carefree elegance
Poised amidst the garden
the iris is remarkably unaware
of its astonishing beauty
In balletic poise
focused with intense stillness
arc of white light strikes
Clockwork confidence,
clockwork heels;
Clockwork schedule
there’s just enough time;
Clockwork the job’s done,
clockwork like a leader;
Clockwork standard,
it’s how she runs the house;
Clockwork for free time,
clockwork is sanity;
Clockwork perfect gloss,
not a hair out of place;
Clockwork to the letter,
clockwork is an image;
Clockwork graces this woman
with unshakable poise.
That is what I tell Joyce:
She's got a world's free choice
To fasten words of praise
On a thing without base
Or take a snake's poise
Raising a critic's voice...
Over rubbish rejoice
Like she'd done as free Joyce
Because she had the choice
To make an impure noise
Yet, it shall count later
One failed a life better:
Spoke no healing letter...
Caged self with fetter.
He made her blush like a kid in kindergarten waiting upon ice cream to fill her wanting,
His voice was calming and her roaring seas where set down like a baby calmed by her mother's breast,
He chased her down with a persistence that left her mesmerized, jaw dropped with shock for a man had never wanted her with such poise,
He claimed her as his before she could even yes to him,
Respect with a touch of authority was what he had for her,
He was always keen to the idea of pleasing her in every way deemed possible,
Am entrance to her heart was all he wanted, she was his goal.
Thoughts rush in; words rush out
Really know what it's all about
Stop that rushing; just stop it.
Don't throw that fit!
Take all the time you need to pray
The the Peace will reflect in what you say.
Manipulations and temptations flee
Don't be as busy as a bee
But breathe deeply, think creatively,
See the beauty somewhere intuitively,
Wait and then act purposefully.
Don't let the "negatives" bully.
Be sweet and never stop smiling
Blessings will start piling.
Winter, you made your poise known
swayed drooping of upper leaves
now gray, lay on underside
unbowed by love heartfelt greaves
coy whistling noise breath cold tide
Winter, you made your poise known

Perfect poise, love aligned, erect
Soul within our heart glows
With magnetic bliss hues we’re flecked
Auric field slowly grows
Our path is surrender
Playful, childlike wonder
No hearts left asunder
Free from noise
Perfect poise

Perfect poise, joyous innocence
Heart glows, as our eyes smile
Infusing in the void, vibrance
Motiveless, free from guile
We meld with the current
Our soul, luminescent
Ego urge decadent
Erase noise
Perfect poise

A man's level head
controls the anger outbursts
of his emotion.
Beset with trials, challenging faith’s might
heart faces quandary toward peace-flight
while being checked of disposition poise
falling out against equilibrium height.
Reaching forth welcoming steadfastness’ quay
I quiver; thus, from sailing angst I pray
bouncing back, moving on from failure pain
clinging to my Anchor along the way.
With revival perfume of sweetness scent
my grateful spirit, propped from being bent
confesses midst humbling earnest penance
purging selfishness for service ascent.
Smiting false humility --- oh, quaint pride
that’s vain boasting my soul does try to hide
I yield fantasized platinum awards
striving to please God; in His love abide*.

indescribable,
untranscribable ~
imbibable, your exotic, quixotic perfume
spiraled me into a quandary
of dirty laundry, penance,
no superintendents in attendance
I come from ragged boys, no poise,
just noise ~ a quiver of quavers,
no saviors of silence,
but if some sap sullies our sister
we'll flatten him
you come from platinum
a blessed nest of nuance,
a quay of kindness,
finesse, fineness ~
savvy sophistication, subtlety
a quaint saint I ain't
then poise met noise
you became my bible;
undeniable, heavy sighable,
unclassifiable ~
indescribable

Perfect Poise, with head and heart in balance
Cave within heart, Quay for hermit’s Penance
Being stillness, shutting off thought borne noise
Faint of heart Quiver, path not for bourgeois
Pure hearts alone, hark to voice of conscience
Free from all taint, joy throb Quaint, love parlance
Suffused with Perfume of pure innocence
No Quandary, as soul, Gods gifts enjoys
Perfect Poise
Stillness ushers self, in void of silence
Magnetic currents felt through sentience
Aura gold Platinum in equipoise
Allured not to fleeting ego borne ploys
Forging with God, a loving alliance
Perfect Poise
