Notes About The Poem

Winter's Poise Known

Winter, you made your poise known
   swayed drooping of upper leaves
      now gray, lay on underside
        unbowed by love heartfelt greaves
coy whistling noise breath cold tide

Winter, you made your poise known

Winter may take many forms as do other seasons. Hugs.

Such an intriguing view here, Eve. Balanced, poised, composed. Here's to whatever kind of winter you like best. :) gw

We just got our winter Sunday from 78 down to 30 within a day. Dry leaves all blown in my garage. Tomorrow will be back in the 70s.. just crazy.
