Pisces

Most days they’re sweet
Most times they’re kind
A celestial magician 
Their light leaves you blind

They love with their heart
They care with their soul 
They like to escape
Until they feel whole 

Neptune’s daughters
Can swim in rough waters
They can be sweet little mermaids
Or sharks that can slaughter

They’re sensitive and sweet
Some don’t even eat meat
Super friendly and wise
They have

Pisces

She's two fish swimming
in opposite directions
and physically incapable
of answering my questions
always on the stick's wrong end
yet not to harp or carp
but I'm forever on the opposite
that which is pointed sharp
would I enquire of the right one
it's the left natator who replies
with something unrelated
from out of yonder wild blue skies
and not knowing which will respond

Look To the Stars

Young and naive, she fell for an Aquarius,
over time he grew nasty and quite nefarious..
A little later came her next heart pang.
He was a fiery Aries man.
With time his habits she just couldn't stand.

Not a Chance They Are Pisces

Neither of the old men were born under the sign Pisces
They were playing chess as hard as they dared
Neither enjoying it like a person born under Pisces would
A Pisces lets things flow naturally, not making trouble
Taking the easiest stream possible, not paddling their canoe
These two old men were arguing, bickering, grousing.

Breath-taking fish follow our footprints
into the booming sea.
A multicolored native child lives there
it walks upon the pushed-up swell,
bell-diving while standing
on the deep dark waves.

You may well dream of this
as the sun plays across your closed eyelids.
You may ask yourself
why the songs of the sea are always sad
even when the sailors fiddle and jig,

Now see a fine display in market hall 
Where fishmonger's stalls sell the freshest catch. 
A world of wet white tiles and melting ice. 
Seafood displayed, arranged in rank and file.
One Scottish salmon commands centre stage
Stretched out upon its own tray of crushed ice
And next to a few Icelandic haddock 
Along with cod trawled from

Psychic mind, unlike a clairvoyant who often misreads,
Intelligent-- more intuitive kind-- than quantum theory,
Surprising to anyone who underestimates a dreamer
Creatively interpreting life, often an abstract painting,
Emotionally brush-stroked on meaningful soul-fabric,
Sensitively divulging sage-wisdom in tacit vocabulary.

Pushy people-person, little silver fish
Inspiring idealist, with an iridescent swish
Swimming up the river, flowing all the way back down
Colour loving creature, too deep and you will drown
Ever-seeking others, happy in the shoal
Stop and think, when on the brink, are you happy in your goal

On a frosty November night I don my warmest clothing, the skies are clear enough for viewing. I train my telescope to the northern sky, between +90 and -65 latitudes , just beneath Andromeda and Pegasus I see two fish known to ancient Greeks as Pisces.  Venus and her son Eros have transformed to
