Premium Member Aaron - Happy Birthday Tritina!

September is blessed with one of the best.
You'd remember him if you ever happened to meet;
Aaron is the name of that fine, dandy dude.

I'm building a tower of mirth with my virtuous dude.
We set each brick together - hand in hand always works best.
Today is his birthday, so for a fete, we should meet.

At a park, by a beach, or on a casual street is where we may meet.
Must it be a costly, boastful retreat when frugal is ten times best?
Simple but mellifluous harmonies created by a Pisces with her Virgo dude.

September's best, blessed to meet, and he's my dude, wholeheartedly!

Premium Member My Spirit Animal

On the zodiac trail of Pisces,
I walk my life on the track of totem wolf,
that pervades the sanctum of my solemn spirit
in the transparent topography of my alpha traits.

It lends me strategic strength and primal power,
making my mind feral and the psyche so valiant.
I follow its footprints persistently, pursuing desires,
with a heart where streams of empathy and love flow.

Although preferring to break away from the pack,
like it does, I fiercely defend my family and friends.
So, don’t trifle with me for I’m strong and relentless,
with the soul compliant to the ethos of my spirit animal.

I trace in entrancing tranquility its solemn shadow,
showing me the mesmeric magic of moonbeam lattice,
while in the mystique blue night I murmur in divine joy,
hear the whisper of moonshine cadence calling me home.

She Is My Shangri La

“Know, oh prince, that between the years when the oceans drank Atlantis and the gleaming cities, and the years of the rise of the Sons of Aryas, there was an Age undreamed of, when shining kingdoms lay spread across the world like blue mantles beneath the stars.”
? Robert E. Howard, The Complete Chronicles of Conan

At times when stressed
I take myself a walk beside the sea
I step into a ‘dreamlike’ world
where I’m the only one ~ just me
The sea she feeds me energy
and lifts my spirits high
Her power is phenomenal
So on this ‘hazy’ summer’s day
a sea fret doth approach
‘Shadowy’ mists surrounding me
I cannot see it feels ‘unreal’
But wait I hear a distant voice
calling out my name
an ephemeral transient tone hath she
‘tis beginning to feel ‘surreal’
As she beckons me towards the sea
this mermaid is she ‘imaginary’
I am drawn to her ~ I feel ‘trancelike’
her golden aura ‘ethereal’
as she takes my hand we cross the sand
and slowly descend
to a place I call friend
it’s Atlantis
my spiritual home
a place I know
a place I go
inside my head
when filled with dread
It calms my soul
It stills my heart
Without her there is no escape
When all around no love just hate
She comforts me and keeps me sane
and welcomes me home time and again
Atlantis is my Shangri La
A magical mythical land afar
Beneath the sea I yearn to be
I’m Pisces ~ dreamy ~ spiritual ~ you see
I return to the sea when she beckons me…

Meanwhile at the Temple of Doom,
the hearts of the "resistance",
are burning everence
in "Human Resonance Frequency",
somewhat
resonating resonance residence,
but not enough- igniting our own severance.

So in the depths of our longest night,
where thespian shadows cloak the moon,
I wander through corridors of my visible mind,
seeking riddles to confounded words,
towards that which will catharsis bloom
if I shut my eyes just right.

Within the untamed wild,
"Sad Wings of Destiny"
where emotions run deep,
in a time capsuled sarcophany.
I paint pictures with my scrabble pen,
hoping beauty jar- sealed lid-
canopic o-o parts will forever keep hid, till eden.
From the Alien characters deodorized
from creatic period malignancy
deed.
The New Age of Aquarius did us no favors
but of bearing their bitter wormwood waters.
Their pact in the Vesicle of Pisces.

The Sylphstream
painting hues of our desalination of populace.

But amidst the melanfolly,
there lies a glimmer of light,
a flicker of hope in the darkness,
that fuels the foliage
of heart with it's beam,
like a hope that spreads majestic wings,
a tapestry of righteousness,
garden of cornucopia- unity brings.

But fragile petals float on your velvet breeze,
revealing secrets
not lost in the minotauric memory.
A fairytale, like "Beauty and the Beast".
Sunset blueprints a citrine caress
of stalwart things,
to my state of disrepair,
as the "mandrake screams".

For in the little bands of unity we create,
in amethyst spaces of cultivate races
and unrecognized homeless faces.

We become cutlets on a plate-
presenting ourself naked oblate,
where emotions find their place to address their undressing Sunday best of show time to
~Contemplate~
When the word flows freely,
like blood leading to the heart
for prayer's power lies in its ability,
to touch us apart from the World,
but not to forget the least of them in part or participle.

We each have that early spring
post-matriarchal
un-hibernating
emerging from EarthMother moment,

An awareness memory
of late winter's pregnant demands
to cramp and thrust forward
patriarchally over-powering
in full summer's fertile august strength.

We each have this great green climate moment
of silent anticipation
bringing all our ancients gathered
and returning reborn music
danced in-between winter
and spring's wild awakening
win winning together
seamlessly

All climates marched before
with all moods augustly septumbering behind
health/wealth bicamerally reiterating after

We each share one Great Matriarchal Transition
early springing out all over memory metaphors
of EarthMother's first heart-felt song
sung inside late winter's last hibernating
passive moments of bipolar unconsciousness

Marching into win/lose political
and economic
and personal
and natural/spiritual dipolar climates
and metaphoric moods,
conflicted/restricted voices
heard in slow-jazzed magic soul

As Pisces twins float midway
between healthy swimming heaven
and pathological hell
bi-fractally fifth-dimension
Aquarian EarthClimate ascendent

Emerging pregnant with creative nondual tension
as a regenerating inside/outside new mom moon

Transitional integrity's annual fullness

Queen of the Ocean

Staring off into
a distant realm
with the soul
of a yearning mermaid
and the heart
of an
eternal dreamer
is none other than
the whimsical
and magical Pisces

When they weep
for the world
and its horrors
the spirit realm
opens up
just for them
to hold them up
in loving grace
as they reflect
beneath
willow trees.

With their mutably
soft emotions
that run
so deep
sometimes
they might
swim away
whenever personally
dealing with
any emotional
or spiritual crises.

But
I always
imagine them
frolicking
in the water
with seaweed
in their hair
as they quietly
and delicately
slip away
from all these
unnecessary
human
responsibilities.

Note: This poem is part of my zodiac-themed poem collection. If you are a Pisces reading this, I hope I did your sign justice. Anyway, I'll be posting one for Aries very soon!

Why are there stars?

Without stars, how would we know that the darkness holds beauty and light in
limitless value? Where would fireflies find the inspiration to put on their
dance of love and loneliness, searching for a mate?

Without stars, what would the Milky Way wear to spin and twirl, and flaunt its
extraordinary beauty to the Universe? What would wee one's wishes send
shooting across the sky, to find purchase in their dreams?

Without stars, what would there be to shimmer in a lover's eyes at night, and
measure the depth of their gaze? What would we use to count the ways we
love our precious ones, or number the grains of sand on the beach?

Without stars, how would we know where to find water at eventide ... those
sparkling reflections of wonder and magic, that ponds, lakes, rivers, and the
sea, gift us after the sun sets? (Diamonds adorning the depths).

Without stars, what would lonely sailors befriend in darkness - what would
they use to tie their thoughts and hearts to loved ones afar, or navigate their
way home? What would the moon have to outshine in the night?

Without stars, how would we give sum to the winks of an eye, the thoughts of
a brilliant mind, the thrums of a heart, the ticks of a clock, or the giggles of
a child? What would Sagittarius let fly from his bow?

Without stars, what would the Big Dipper dip? What would Orion wear for a
belt? How would Polaris know where North is? How would Canis Major wag
his tail, or Gemini know his twin? How would Pegasus fly, or Pisces swim?

Without stars, what would make Heaven so ... heavenly??

And I am dread to imagine how few poems would have been written, without
the exquisite beauty and shine and inspiration, that the blazing Sea of Suns
overhead, has given to the human race ...

It is a muse without compare, and a glorious, dazzling expanse ...

Without equal.
