Lighthouse

Prisoner of the enigmatic sea,
standing alone upon the rocky shore.
Once it illuminated the horizons,
now abandoned, it watches as waves roar.
Powerful winds influence the current,
as the atmosphere perspires salty air.
In conjunction the ocean joins the storm,
raging tides dance with malevolent flair.
Tempest terrorizes with wild fury,
flooding lands, demolishing weak buildings.
Animals suffer with fishermen lost,
storm leaves behind an aftermath of killings.
Standing tall through this barbaric onslaught,
unscathed the lighthouse combated all harm.
Replaced by modern day technology,
deserted, forgotten but not lost its charm.

Blistering

Hate boils within like wildfire,
It consumes, it devours, it perspires.
The distant bus seems miles away,
As I'm consumed by a corrupting desire.

Money and fame, they are all-consuming,
They make us forget the simple things.
We forget love, we forget joy,
And in its place, hatred and death we bring.

The bus carries people to their destinations,
But they are blind to their own damnation.
Corrupted by wealth and status,
Their souls drowned in eternal damnation.

As I watch the bus fade away,
I'm left with the consequence of their actions.
The world is filled with death and hate,
Thanks to their greed and wicked attractions.

So I stand here, consumed by loathing,
Hoping that one day they will see.
That money and fame are fleeting pleasures,
And true happiness lies in simplicity.

A sand blown whisper taunts my soul
With rippling samba’s rigmarole

This soul perspires mosaic paint
As rose vine perfume makes me faint.

Souls breathe fire to yearn and smoulder
Seismic vision makes us bolder

Brazenly two souls rub noses
Wild sirocco dust our poses

Call

Would you make my phone ring?

Would desire retake the wild as it perspires like the legend is written yet the times go unaffected?

Babe, the world gets no smaller,

I am the right caller,

no one could say a thing about the lights growing in stalling words-

because we will gather for our area's that we expedite,

but will mighty-kite none-for-less when our strife scars at the right heights,
tights and whites... even fights!

We will always resign because more and more is what's needed, every time!

Her radiance springs to me completely
Her heart perspires upon me neatly
I take all of her that I can grab
My heart, I’m sure, she will never stab

She brings me a giant smile each day
Filled with kisses I’m grateful to say
I find that I can no longer resist
An embrace so strong that I would lisp

Our love gets stronger as time passes
Every day it grows and surely lasts
As they say the heart grows fonder
Each day we are together, I ponder

The greatness of our vast intertwining
Will never come to yield an unwinding
Forever our love is true and set free
To be in our hearts for eternity

Premium MemberA Lover's Dance

To kiss a burning mouth where hunger yearns
And free earthly bonds lovers conceal
To fall into love's arms without concerns
Where touches are tender and senses feel
The needs of time disappear from desires
As the tongues of passion burn and implore
To stoke consuming flames so flesh perspires
In a fiery realm, they both adore
Where tremors linger and sighs never end
When warm lips merge in a passionate kiss
To cross boundaries that love will suspend
And dance as lovers in unyielding bliss

To dwell far beyond in a world unseen
And find a sacred dream where souls convene

A Sensual Dream

Heat rises in swirls
from dusky earth to be drenched
in sky's watery embrace.
Her body sizzles
as she craves for his raw touch.
Fully roused, he leaps in thrill.

Fresh droplets of rain
seep through the layers of soil
 into the parched, scorching core.
Warm then cool, wet hug.
Her longing thirst consumes him
as he perspires to quench her.

Smell of petrichor
released by the dampened soil
imbues the air pleasantly.
Her soft and moist skin
exudes sweet scent - a reward
bestowed for his competence.

~*~
Flame in the fireplace
flares up with a crackling noise
before burning out in ashes.
A sensual dream
dissolves in a restless sleep
awakened by the moaning.

Rounding Off

His mind is imprisoned by a cage.
He is framed with sentences handed down by strangers.
He is alone even though the other voices fill his head.
He is unaccompanied, even with the crowd in his cell.
He argues among all, which conspiracy we should conspire with.
He has the Freedom to sit with selves to hear who yells loudest,
He has the Freedom to wait and see who wins today's war, for tomorrow it all begins again.
He Paces round the cube, rounding off the four corners of his heart, soul, spirit and body.
He Perspires beads of knowledge learned on his troubled travels not so long ago and, while circling above, they spy the carcass of his joy and humour.

A blessed soil which perspires cashews and coughs out black pepper,
its global banner of rice is raised so high
which is only beaten by one.
Specializing in the juices of the commonest limbless reptile
with cuisines highly recommended by the parliaments of health.

From dragons to birds;
the turtle to the horse;
the minds of its people have well been bonded to these,
making historians marvel at which exactly
helped in denting the American military pride.

Premium MemberOye, Latin

There I stood, flushed: gripping
a diaphanous pelvis of his guitar,
he rips a pulpy drool of velvet notes…
glossy under a roulette of lights,
saucy on the parquet floor upon
an artist's feet :his body movement
resembling a twisted weave; the
bossa nova of high timbre frothing scales
of primitive jungle moans,
while Latin hands roll with dizzy
Carribean beats as if Santana
and Jobim grooved with him.

Oh he aches, shakes like a livid soul,
 more ravished than refined
in his groping music, my night's balm.
Streams of ‘Oye Como Va’ entice a trance
rippling down my spine, ready
to tug with the accompaniment of
drums and sax; till the last rhapsodic groan
prolongs a dazed jiggle for hips
to leap unto the heat of the sky.
My flesh perspires as I whirl,
unmindful of the exotic rhythm

prancing like a black magic woman!

The Devil In the Flesh

What have I become; no more can I recognize myself.
In the dark my shadow burrows beneath my skin in stealth.
When I look in the mirror there's a phantom of evil.
I have sucked in eyes, blood dripping fangs and ruby halo.
The skin I wear feels no pain, pressure, warmth nor perspires.
This skin is cold, pale, old and its my counseling attire.
I'm with apparition like hands and have ghostly fingers.
The touch I bring excoriates and always lingers.
I'm with frozen like breath that coats the glass mirror in white.
I am more than a demon, I'm the Devil inside.

Drench This Sheet Again

As I write, the pen trembles,
Mumbles my mind's verdicts.
Upon my thoughts, it stumbles,
Claims my Ideas are convicts.

As I imagine, my soul I bribe,
And hire it to channel my visions
with ease.
By tides, I'm swayed, away from my
tribe,
While the pen keeps teasing, the
scribe's calm seas.

Extinct notions, the imagination
weaves,
To drape a cloak o'er pessimist eyes.
Like droughts to thirsty drops,
relieves,
Reveals us glimpses of skies.

Eyelids umbrellas, eyes, the clouds,
My hands like napkins, soak the rain.
While heart perspires, yet drips
aloud,
Enough to drench this sheet again...
