A dystopian myopian premonition
Frank about West Bank expedition
No regret get set for latest edition
Illegal war don’t need permission
Saw UN and NATO's clear omission
Unjust blood lust their admission
No contrition.. Middle East perdition
Still pretending it’s all about religion
Invades like the crusades.. demolition
This is not just some war of attrition
Toast Gaza a ghost most recent audition
Genocide boast with pride the ambition
Poor on wrong side fried an apparition
Yanks kowtowed allowed the decision
Rendition masquerading as suspicion
With the rifle will still stifle our derision
Acquisition the tradition of the mission
Sewn by their own homegrown volition
Netanyahu condition continue sedition
Submission then all neighbours abolition
A Soul besmirched of its might;
Pummeled into the abyss,
A disconsolate plight;
Left with void, with butchered bliss,
Ostracized, by its own allies;
For now their fidelity surely dallies;
Oh! The revered one, what lures me behind
Show me the path, I shall grind
Forbade my blasphemous thoughts,
Reverberate my echo, to a thousand knots!
Once a connoisseur, with grandeur and glory
Now, an abdicator with a story
PERDITION
Guilt
Burns hot
In the soul
For all one’s sins
Known as perdition
As a permanent state
That can and will still persist
Of punishment and damnation
And there is no known recovery
So unfair, after one has repented
The White Whale
Atlantis
or Holy Grail
Avarice and greed
destruction
prevails
(Dreamsleep: June, 2023)
That day on the ledge
he started to shake
Each memory a tremor
of every mistake
The choices made suspect
as nightmares returned
The price of redemption
his destiny spurned
Alone and forgotten
his eyes straight ahead
Afraid to look down
where his hopelessness led
Each breath getting shorter
his heart beating loud
One step from perdition
one step to enshroud
But then in an instant
a voice could be heard
Not friendly or caustic
but rooted and learned
“Well jump if you have to
defeat as your crown
Your sins to fall with you
—forgiveness unfound”
(Dreamsleep: June, 2022)
Vacant Perdition
Reeling listless
Empty story
Gazing, endless
Mandatory
Purgatory
Muted motion
Thinking sorely
Null devotion
Sudden urges
Fleeting feelings
Will emerges
Sailing ceilings
Disused dealings
Mislaid purpose
Broken meanings
Without service
It’s insipid
Bouncing bluster
Wisdom wicked
Nothing mustered
Lacking luster
Sempiternal
Filibuster
Silence vernal

Beware said the righteous man.
Look back to where it all began.
LOOK, what you perceived to be right,
LOOK, what you did is now your blight.
You sought to crush others by your might,
You never fought a righteous fight.
LOOK, oh soulless wretch, at your decision,
It has put you on the road to perdition.

Distancing does aid
To hide a veil of shame
Compartmentalize the sheep
To lull the wake to sleep
Unearthed the fled play dumb
Circumvention follows through
Big brother saves a piece
To call on those that eat the food
Take your shot or hit the road
When then will they stop the show?
For now the bitter wait
Knowing they'll control their fate
Common sense points to the past
This repeat came round so fast
The tree of liberty wilts and thirsts
Scornfully demanding it's great sacrifice
Steadfast the brave come clean
The upright seeming evil to the dim
Can't bargain with these fools
Common core has warped the fiends
Bears of Red just want your will
Stolen choices rot the soul
Taking aim against humanity
This great country will not fall prey
The devil's children of perdition led so far astray....
I loved too much, to the extreme
I loved her to despair
she was my canoe my paddle
safe haven and whereabouts ...
Love so visceral
meaningless anthropophagic
raw and fatal love
Love that made me lost ...
Now I have nothing
yes, now I have it
stuck between cross and sword
Heaven and hell I hold
between dawn and dark
suffering and joy with commitment ...!
In tears that feign to be a slave with deeds
That mourn my life and ousts the face of peace
These sad bells ring with cries for now I grieve
And bow my head because I cannot cease
I choose the weight of ton and gloom of ache
To lay in watch to mark the clock rush slow
The pang of rail, the strike of steel to take
With one foot in the pit of grave songs woe
The sun has but to trade the dark to light
But lost and fixed its loft clings far too high
As cold and cloud have barred such smiles from sight
To breach this heart so meek with sad lost cries
Bound and caged it has penned my last good bye
To spare this heart in dread to spurn or die

the roll of thunder
begs a nurtured cry
counting down a lightning strike
stripped silence and smothering light
dust gathers in the silhouette
tethered for a downward crawl
hopes only exit
surrenders to intrinsic
vicious and sincere is the device
a glimpse of a gleam off steal
forging shape into links
rattling the weight of a chain
graceful restricted movement
an ever enduring talent
reaches the balanced stance
for a pound of flesh
the tongue of destiny
that is where my name lies
whispers for a state of grace
how subtle is perdition

From the Devil’s stable,
I picked the fastest stallion
And rode beyond perdition
—through eternity’s flames
(Villanova Pennsylvania: August, 2019)
You try to mask your given voice
in what’s perverse and then profane
But truth speaks only for itself,
your costume tattered—seamstress blamed
This great parade, a grand charade,
your song a flattened chord
Its final line to seal your fate
—perdition now assured

POLITICIAN PERDITION
Do you find yourself analytical
When it comes to things political
Corpulent men in suits and ties
Cheat with promises and lies
With true intent we go to vote
To make choice of ass or goat
Labor, Nationals, Libs and Greens
Strut their stuff like Kings and Queens
Have you met an honest Pollie?
Show me one - I'll shout: By Gollie!
With their hands deep in our pockets
They send taxes up like rockets
The grass withers and crops die
For feed and water creatures cry
While there's water up on Mars
And in ‘swamp’s’ well plenished bars!
Trump - outsider - stands his ground
Trait in Pollies seldom found
He treats leaders, lords and Kings
Marionettes dangling on strings.
Never TelePrompt refined
Opens up and speaks his mind
Straight from heart and off the cuff
Uncut diamond in the rough
Mock his lack of history pure
Never going to be demure
He hits back at thrown insults
I care more for his results
So let’s give an admonition
To bog dwelling politicians
‘Had enough to fill your cup
Drink it down! Your time is up!’
