Pebbles by the shore
Walking with waves at our feet
And pebbles galore!

Forever by your side

Oh, my beloved, 
I've been searching for you all day long.
Since the day we met, 
I've been deeply in love with you. 
I've been craving your presence, 
Dying every day as I wait for you.
I've been utterly consumed!

I sense that you've been with me telepathically,
Sending me signs!
I feel like you're the only king of my heart,
Capable of ruling the universe. 
You're the only one who can conquer the world.

You told me that everything's possible 
when we unite! 
You revealed that there's another life 
Beyond what we can touch or see.
You've proven that you're the only one 
Who can truly reap the world's rewards! 

I know, you love me unconditionally.
Yet, you struggle to reveal your true identity, 
Fearing I'll leave you forever.
Sometimes, you think of leaving me 
When you see me with someone.

But know this, my love: I'll always be by your side.
Trust me, darling. Trust me, darling.

The little stack of pebbles
A long way from the ground 
Taken from the quarry
To a new driveway was bound

In the lorry went
Through the gates of the house
Its loud engine frightened everything 
From the chicken to the mouse

Dumped onto the road
The pile of stones poured out 
And this little stack of pebbles 
Found themselves in doubt

One new beginning lay ahead
A life of glitz and glam
But when the hailstorm washed them down 
The pebbles cried “oh, damn!”

Shape by every waves ashore
In cycles of time.

glistening 'neath the moon,
shining their finest glow,
ride the tide as it slinks
away in ebbing flow.

that hug nocturnal shores

sparkling with waning waves
that cleanses their design
in gems that garner raves.

vibrant as the youthful
Goddess Aphrodite.
Exquisite adornments
gifted by Amphitrite.

An address to pebbles that protest

I am the maker of your fear, says the silver ocean.
like the dessert sun to a scotched frog,
I strike the sand and bury you deep with each beat,

Too when the night is calm, and moon puts me to slumber
I lay heavy on your soul that pleads to turn dust and fly,
If for a minute.

I hear your cracks and whimper when my cold, cold, skin
Envelopes your breath with salt of Sodom
Only to leave, and return, and leave.

I willfully craft a moonless night of my eyes to your anguish,
Send your pleas north, to a different god perchance,
I have not vowed myself to benevolence.

A trillion stones surrender their selves for sake of sand,
that which is my bed to sleep, my dog to beat and to break,
Why then thinks a single pebble that a lion ought to save a deer.

I shan’t take the tedium of stillness, and not dance ashore
If that be your woe, so be
Long before your cries, long after, yours is to serve my whim.

to all the lost and lonely

I  lay you in the mud
chlorosis of zinc and potassium
unpurifying the London Waters

Pebbles

He who ponders how deep a memory
can be dropped like a pebble
into that ever increasing inner-space of self
where landings cannot be seen or heard
must live rooted
by the rounding edge of a fathomless well
wondering always
why the weight of just one pebble
drags him downward through every moment.
