pebbles

Listen to poem:

Old Pebbles

River flows, to and fro, in rhyme,
With pebble murmurs keeping time.

Stone edges knocked and bumped smooth,
by restless, rock-roll dancing,
on time-scarred and weathered floors,
with karaoke.

Hello John, you really caught my imagination. Karaoke? It gives the whole piece a really quirky, unique charm and adds a playful sense of the river being this eternal, weird, rock ' n ' roll dance party. Autumn Blessings, John, Daniel
