Daddy's Cappilary

Compelling to absorb pressure
Like water to a sandy soil
To make things to be of pleasure
For his family with his toil

He doesn't become weary
As water unto clay
That never give way teary
Even when it isn't a lovely day

Bills have to be payable
To keep bearing covers
As loamy do bear fruits of bubbles
Verily the feeding in folds recovers

Happy father's day to all fathers
And the ones to come
Afterwards out of been brothers
Live to be the best chum

Distant Vistas

Painted mountains,
and art show peaks;
God’s hand in every stroke…
The canvas alive,
and moving.

The sweetness of perfection,
the honesty of reality;
“All” in reverence of… in awe of!

The Creator’s…
skill and power,
His majesty and His grace.
overwhelming and consuming,
boundless and beautiful.

The very act of prayer,
and subjugation…
only a small portion of
the debt due and
completely un-payable.
My only hope,
my Lord, Monarch and Sovereign.
the blood of the Lamb.

I am small, no more than a dot…
Barely upon the paper,
lint upon the page.
Yet the grandeur of the King…
is seen…
in every detail.

Grateful am I,
that He bothers with me.

Premium MemberGuanica

You slept in, I walked to the beach
“I love you” an old American hippy yelled
”And the mosquitos do too!”

My big red welts
A souvenir of our night in Guanica
A stay forced by the Puerto Rican cop
Who pulled you over for “speeding” at 5pm
License to be returned when you paid the fine
Payable only at the police station, which closed at 5pm

You weren’t speeding
But you were Nuyorican
Without a word of Spanish
He would have locked you up if he could

The hotel he said was nearest
(perhaps owned by his dearest?)
Had a pool, empty save for cracks and a coconut

We were the only guests
Yet we were underdressed
For the bar
Two local grand dames and an old colonel
In full regalia
From another time
Sipping their nightly resurrection

When I stepped naked into the bathroom
And switched on the light
A hundred mosquitos fed in a frenzy
as if they’d waited all their lives
for me

The old hotel was the highlight
Of our trip
And of our time together
You could never want me
The way those mosquitos did

The Worth of Rice

Food is a daily need.
Some eat well, are fed well,
are taken care of,
while others have little,
or none.

It is what we do with what we have,
that is the difference between,
living and living well.
The quality of life,
ever the goal to be higher...
than expected of,
or made to.
To have a price,
un-payable...
except by Him,
who had no need of money,
and yet was betrayed for silver.
The sad seller in the transaction,
hanged in the bargain,
to live forever among "them",
in the dark.

Sacrifices have a thousand faces,
from time spent to cash lost.
Blood given, missed moments,
and abuse.
Loss, and grief, the brothers of regret,
in the end the mirror of our lives,
everything that was bought and sold,
that made a difference,
between the line of gray...
and the deep of black.

Premium MemberDebt Slaves

WHAT ONCE
WAS A RIGHT
APPEARS TO BE GONE.
IN THE NAME OF PROGRESS
THEY MOVED ALONG.
SHEEPLE WERE CONVINCED,
BY A GROUP OF FOOLS,
WHO CLAIM
TO UNDERSTAND THE RULES.
THE FOOLS ONLY SAW
THE DOLLAR SIGNS.
BEING PAID TO ALTER
AND CHANGE YOUNG MINDS.
THE SHEPPLE WERE TOLD,
EVERYTHING'S FREE.
A CRIME IN THEORY
BUT, THE SHEEPLE BELIEVED.
PROMISES,
THAT CAN'T BE MET.
ONLY AMOUNTED
TO UN-PAYABLE DEBT.
THEY RELINQUISHED
THEIR FREEDOM
FOR POLITICAL LIES.
BASED ON A STUDY,
THAT SHEEP WERE NOT WISE.
HOW DOES IF FEEL,
TO BE A SLAVE,
DECEIVED AND TRAPPED
INSIDE A MAZE.
KNOWING NOW,
THERE'S A PRICE TO PAY
AS THEY SLAVE
THEIR LIFE AWAY.

Let Me Be Your Freedom

When the world tells you what to do
Like you have a payable that is due
And there's nothing you can try to settle
The way people are, we can't meddle..

Let me be your freedom in this prisoned space
Where those who don't know you judge your case
You can tell me your grief and suffering
Rest your thoughts and stop your shiftless wandering..

You can be you when you are with me
No pretensions, its "you" I want to see
Be honest to yourself and stop hurting
Explore and be bold, I will be here waiting..

Always remember you are loved
I am someone you always have
There's no need to go looking around
I hope with me freedom you found.

Of Donkeys and Elephants, Part I

The call to order; the chorus now sings
Lord of the Flies dressed in his dapper best
Dance to the pull of invisible strings
Hands of the puppeteer moving the rest

See the perverse design of humankind
Exploited by those who would rule over us.
To our soft underbelly, we are blind.
Even the brightest miss the obvious.

Every campaigner’s fiat currency
By which the masses will be bought and sold:
Scratch it, beneath is no substance to see,
His debts tendered, payable in fools gold

But still the promise, cold unblinking eyes,
A righteous pillage, your justified prize.

Premium MemberThe Ransom of the Mask

I don't remember what I miss
Or if I left it where it is
I wasn't going anywhere
And I sure did get there fast
No matter where I run
I can't outrun the past
But I've walked away from running
With nowhere left to go
Price check on isle 6 please
Was there a mark down on my soul
Never noticed no one noticed
The mask covering my fears
Carving lines upon my face
As time outran my tears
Emotions frozen into place
The mask demands a ransom
Payable in years

Premium MemberLive Your Life

LIVE Your LIFE today as though it is your last.
Tomorrow's just a maybe, what is past is past.
Words you've meant to say,
Speak them now, don't delay,
For words unspoken as of yet,
Another chance you may not get,
Leaving tomorrows filled with regret,
A relentlessly due, non-payable debt.
Live today as special, make memories unique,
Today is here and now, tomorrow do not seek,
What may or may not come to pass, meet its fruition,
Let living now, today, be your goal, your ambition.
When tomorrow arrives, if it ever comes to be,
Feeling blessed, free of regrets, embrace it joyfully.
Make each day memorable before adding to your past.
LIVE Your LIFE every day as though it is your last.

Payable Upon Death

Payable upon death

Chariots of fire
Adrift as my time expires
No pits of burning flames
No glory to be had
No one to remember my name
A life over filled
My cup spills with regret and pain
I strain to maintain
The thoughts of visions
Of sandcastles destroyed my natures wave
Destruction of man made riches
Money burn and coins rust
By the tears of lost
I am the Sheppard leading a flock into the wolfs den
Ringing the bell for dinner
Wolfs starved looking much thinner than before
Like shells left on the ground
No one cares to see
The battle that is within me
Pulling left then right
Pulled from the seams
Like a single string off a garment
You tug on it and it unravels
And what is left is my life in a spotlight
All eyes on me so it seems
The glares burn a hole in my soul
Like a flare
The burning is hot
Just another chapter of my life
Another trap or plot
Payable upon death
Only lint in my pockets
That’s all I got
Still as I die off slowly
I am in deaths debt.

The Heartland

The Heartland
A living human is a universe
  Animated by the Heartland kingdom
Since the juvenile age, it's disturbed
           By the desire of Love

Some universes dream being conquered
      By a gorgeous attractive empire
Which shines like a double rainbow
But dreaming is easy, the reality is strong

The sensitive heartland can be so powerful
That it repulse the pressure of a magnet
The Metamorphic land is faithful to its mood
And have strong mottos that make others suffer

This desire is worse than the vampires
Who are looking for blood to survive
A universe in love can make all sacrifices
But the heartland is still not payable
              It's just a special gift
