Not who you was but whom is portrayed
We all with evil, pulpits shouts redemption rise
Every is entitled to redeem heart of the soul
Upon themselves the desire to want change
Among mist of our depths lays stories, secrets
Darkness evil hidden away torcher's pain
Taught morals, respect, one looks for in another
The kindness of being promoting good will
What is it we are except what we allow

That we have become radical civilization of hate
War falls upon the lips, riots destroy instead unite
Purpose of government not meant to control
But overseer of different law of land we bury
For our own good, forsaken all we stand
While hiding behind image of world our steps
All desiring riches, the promised way to life
But you can not find purpose with close eyes

Among starry skies, dreams of reality hopes
We fly flags, liberation to freedom rights
Each fighting against another even ourselves
We call for change just defile objective to be
Like selling your soul, price we give to breath
But does one die in vain their doing
Where does the soul go that live this breathe
But he be a better man than the world his journey

Premium MemberCan I Buy An Extra Word Or Two

My brain is on holiday
Sure wish it would alert me
I'm cruising along having a ball
Then WHAM!!!
“Sorry, I'm on holiday”
Doesn't happen often to me
But when it does, I freak out
What if in my remaining years
I never write another poem
Yikes! What a calamity that would be
Still got lots to write about
I think I have... I know I have... I'm sure I have
But what happened???
Something is short circuiting my thought box
Write the first line, then scrap it
Write the first line, then scrap it
Write the first line, then scrap it
Help!!! Someone please tell me what to do
Have the “thought police” intervened
Have I exceeded my yearly word count already
Please oh great overseer of verboseness
If I have exceeded my limit
Can I buy extra words for the year
I'll pay big dollars...

INTOXICATION

   INTOXICATION

Let me be drunk in the aura of your presence
Let me be intoxicated in the beauty of your holiness
Enchant me Oh Spirit of God
Come enchant me Oh Spirit of Jesus

Let me be drunk… not with wine of this world
But with the Wine of your Spirit
Intoxicated by your presence
Becoming a fire that burns brightly
As I become a change agent to my world

The best friend you can ever imagine
A gist partner that can never be compared
A senior partner that must be acknowledged
The only one who urges me to worship and pray rightly
The shepherd of my soul
My lifeline to heaven
My number one witness bearer
The overseer of the Church

Let me be drunk in the aura of your presence
Sweet Holy Spirit
Intoxicate me with your love, I cant get enough of you
That I might worship with you
That I might commune in your presence
Holy Spirit flow through my soul.

buttressed by food fortress

The Creator cares
even for ant colonies...

**Proverbs 3:5-6 Proverbs 3:5-6 King James Version 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Premium MemberYou May Call Me Mrs V

You may call me Mrs. V the woman told new workers.
I am the manager, so I manage what you do.
She is also an overseer, and a micro-manager, someone whispered.
She gave that man a mean nasty I-wish-you-would-die look.

There was a bit of tittering, some smirks, one tiny giggle.
I tried to not get involved in any of this, I needed this job.
I supervise you every day, she told us. So be on your toes.
The man said something else and some people giggled.

I had no idea what it was, but I was glad I had not heard.
After the meeting I inquired about the man who dared.
He is her husband, I was told. He likes to rile her during meetings.
I could tell by her face that his life would not be lovely tonight.

Premium MemberSnail Overseer Is Sluggish Today

The snail overseer is sluggish today said the ant.
Mouse and rabbit laughed at the worker’s rant.
He’s the first person you’ve complained about today.
Three unhappy snails ran the other way.

See what I mean? The ant groused, all grumpy.
Our new snail overseer is sluggish, lazy and frumpy.
That’s what he can’t stand, the mouse said.
I know, rabbit agreed. Ants work until they are dead.

Soothe Strong

I’ve hated myself and gated my true self/
Tired I waited for health basics to shelve/
Take care of yourself during young ages to delve
Shake bare sore urges yearning numb phases to evolve/
Intake of a rare lore emerges /
In wake of we’re to lure resurgence /
I think not as they’ll plea what they have to plead to move along/
Most certainly a uniquely freed seed of his own breed to sooth strong/
Host a sneak peek of belief for the creed through deeds to behoove long/
Sordid and oblique with the technique nothing meek to seat a sleek antique/
Sure didn’t complete the metaphor for the mega Thor to wreak on the sheet/
A meteor upheave is seen as way more meatear to read the meter/
Catching a gear clutching the brake lever I steer near to see you sear/
Hatching as the overseer or instructor if you peer I have the hymn structure to adhere/

Premium MemberThe Night Before Christmas

The night before Christmas the North Pole elves were agog
Teasing each other with promises of laced up eggnog.
Mrs. Claus was scolding, teasing them with brownies so sweet.
They knew to work faster if they wanted this incredible treat.

Santa was taking a luxurious swim in his pool.
He knew he’d have to be relaxed, he was no Christmas fool.
The workshop was buzzing with chitter and chatter going amuck.
The overseer was watching closely, his name Mr. Puck.

The reindeer were playing the games they liked best.
The barnyard guardian was warning them to get some rest.
Gingerbread cookies were warming in the North Pole kitchen.
Santa’s toes were pointed south, traveling in them simply itch’n.

Premium MemberWheelbarrow Cat Oversees Garden

Wheelbarrow cat was the garden overseer
Sitting above the plants year after year
When buyers got closer, she would disappear
Her owner never put her seat into gear

She loved the butterflies with their wings so sheer
Tried to bat them away when they got near
Garden gnomes let out a thunderous cheer
When the Germans brought out their exotic beer

Premium MemberThe Sixth of Daniel

*Image of Daniel in the Lion's Den by Peter Paul Reubens.

The Sixth of Daniel

Walketh I, thy path of righteousness, beheld His glory,
Lifted me upon thy pedestal, godsends didst overflow,
Name I lord overseer to a third of the Medes kingdom,
King Darius favor astir cohorts to envy, concoct ruses,
Deceptive intrigue dupes, prayers to induce him alone,
Ruling ricochets both together King Darius and myself,
Unbeknownst I, exploits hands didst seize my person,
Thy servant wast bound cast down into the lion's den,
Constant pray I, Grace abideth with me, I fear no evil,
Occasion thy beast that they'd hunger naught, assert,
Oh Father, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven,
Art denied am I thy countenance, 'tis yond lion's den,
Faith I apiece well-sprung eyes, obliged glad tidings,
The hour steadies, a lion's den notably stable, bestill,
My presence overwhelms one joyfully, two confused,
Witticism replaceth tomfoolery as similar fates a pair,
Restoreth bliss as a kingdom praises my deliverance,
Redemption's always confirmed in steadfast prayers,
Tenacious faith that placeth the wealth of me in Him.

Over and Under

Melanin lamentation
It appears to be the color of dread
Locked in
is a private penal profiteering feeling
Black site
has a plantation clandestine skin
Making abolition voices
invisible again

Usury jaws open like an abyss trapdoor,
predatory lending
got a bulging debtor belly once more
As the black robes
rattle strike
a corporate cobra plea deal —
Let the food chain shakedown siren lure

Leopard spot plastic bags
over the head
Casting poverty pawns
into the a domino pit repo hole

Obsidian wiles got a blue steal bracelet price tag;
dark bags under the eyes, dreams dead
Pale thoughts ... Pliny sleepless nights, no dawn:
Implantation device now in control

Overseer bound destination,
underneath the roulette task terrible Gulag will
Siberian tigers have a paper appetite,
turning into eclipse panthers when Dear occupant can’t pay the bill
