Tagoreweb era sukher lagi They, beseech love as a token of joy, love is nowhere to be called in

They, beseech love as a token of joy, love is nowhere to be called in
only to bid farewell to joy, left behind, a hymn
such is the glossy glaze of a subtle worldly longing , a fading heartsong to lull
oblivion and them, an array of whim, newly reborn, blossoming recklessly, vagabond a feel,
And so is the love, sleep deprived a croon, a yearning eddy , a sandstorm kill
a chill hideout in zeal
And the let down show
And the no brainer love, a sow
a love losing all and all
in grievance and then the majestic fall
my love let us overcome, since the night is done, the dream was drawn
to an end
why the churn, even though a show, to steel the unsayable lexical
sleepy and bizarre adventures of an ensuing moonlight sonata
after a prodigal setting in mist and fog
my love, let us be mourners in good faith, humbling.
a saga of love, unspoken, is ending within, whence a kismet wills on.

now many are still a sense in smiling and a feeling In many more
to be born for a tossed and turned, a smile and a longing heartache
with brimming eyes, salty tears
trickling down with an usher, downpour

“A No Brainer”
If balancing a checkbook is a no brainer, why can’t I do it

“Hit below the belt”
As a guy I don’t even want to go there

“I’m all ears”
No wonder I can’t smell or see

“Play it by ear”
No wonder I cant play banjo, I’ve been using my fingers

“Think outside the box”
I tried that once and they closed the lid on me

“Plenty of fish in the sea”
If so, why can’t I catch any?

“Put lipstick on a pig”
Do pigs even have lips?

Premium Member Moses Pointed The Way To Christ

Moses one of the great prophets
showing Christ as an even greater prophet
both sent by God to do His will (Ex 3: 1-12/ John 6: 57)
forever we are in their debt

Both born under remarkable circumstances( Ex 2: 1-16/ John 20: 30)
as well as under threat of death at birth (Ex 1: 15-22/Luke 1: 23-38)
God's hand destined to bless them
preserving them in all the earth

Mediators were they before God and man (Ex 20: 19-22/ 1Tim 2: 5)
reconciliation was their required aim
pointing all to Calvary's cross
where the prize redemption had came

Living foodless for a required time (Ex 34: 28/Matt 4: 2)
proving God to be their real sustainer
then provide food for the people (Ex 16: 2-22/John 6: 5-13)
show their authority to be a no-brainer

Teacher, Prophet, Lawgiver and King
(Deut 4:5)(Deut 18:15-19)( Ex 31: 28)(Deut 33: 5)
(Matt 5:12)(Deut 18: 15, 18)(John 1:17)(Matt 21:5)
just a few titles that they held
Moses to be sure a Prophet supreme
pointed to Christ the greater word did bring

Premium Member A No-Brainer

Right brain

Says nothing

Left says

Nothing appearing..

Yet..there is no brain

Whether right or left..

Just the no-brainer:

What seems happening...

To the People of Georgia

To the people of Georgia –
You have one more chance
To make your vote count
And not looked at askance.

The opponents, as different
As two men can be,
Want to serve in the Senate,
But each nominee

Has some assets and flaws
So you have to decide
Who will serve you the best
And is most qualified.

There’s a football star with no
Political sense
Who believes that his actions
Have no consequence.

There is also a pastor,
Well-spoken, who fights
To ensure his constituents
Have equal rights.

Though it seems a no-brainer,
The voters are split
But I urge all in Georgia
To think and commit

To the candidate who
Will continue to strive
To keep hope in our country
And freedom alive.

Refugee

I caught myself, my bad side. in the mirror

Of someone else’s face. I stopped mocking

No longer thinking it funny and placed my

Feet in the shoes they had to wear.

In my cynical mind it was a comedy

In theirs a moment of indecision, worry.

Go home to a war zone or stay here in safety, no brainer.

But here is not home.

They left: three-day journey by car. Dangerous in itself.

An escape made three months before, as missiles rained

And debris crashed around them. Scrambled essentials

Into a case, picked up the cat, dropped off spare keys.

But there’s nowhere like home compared to the life

Of a refugee.

Easy looking in, do the right thing as if a robot.

Joke about stupidity, as you see it. Life is a tragedy

And I can’t imagine what I’d do if I were a refugee.

Premium Member Struggling With Temptation

“The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it”

~ Machiavellian counsel by Oscar Wilde

______________________

Struggling with temptation,
creates a dilemma
requiring our free will,
to discern and so choose,
nectar or ego swill.

Struggling with temptation,
in truth’s a no brainer,
either which ways we win,
if free from addiction,
renouncing ways of sin.

Struggling with temptation,
keeping our heart carefree,
go not with base instinct
but pause a while to think:
is our intent love inked?

Struggling with temptation,
reflect this oh hermit;
why did the urge arise,
although we now do know,
that soul lives, body dies?

The Russians Are Coming

The Russians are coming

Skiers complain it is too cold, most of them are from the cold country
is the frost in China different than say, Scandinavia?
A newspaper gleefully telling us there fewer spectators this time
then in the Olympic last time, I think this tittle-tattle has to do with
infantile reports looking to throw some China’s way.
The war that didn’t happen and are not going to cover the front
pages of Europe, one senses they are willing a war against Russia.
Crimea was not annexed by Russia, there was a vote in favour
of being a part of that country, which is natural since most people
living in Crimea are Russians; this is a no brainer.
I so do dislike I. Phones; bills are sent to the phone nothing on paper
my phone is blocked because I let the battery run flat
Now they ask for my code to open the bloody phone who in
their does right mind remember a code?
Meanwhile, the sporting people continue to chase gold in Pequin.

Premium Member Corporate Speak

When the president said ‘misunderestimated’
Everybody wondered, ‘was he ever educated’
But I forgive him that, for the thing that makes me ‘EEK!’
Is the mad proliferation of Corporation Speak…

For thirteen years a desk paid my rent
As I gave a hundred and ten percent
While progress chasing, the big knobs suggested
I could perhaps be more invested

They said action that
And try blue sky thinking
Let’s square the circle
Cos floating ain’t sinking

So pick it up and run with it
But bring it to the table
And hit the ground running
Don’t smoke in the stable

Scare the ghost
Feel the commotion
Peel the onion
Boil the ocean

If you’re out of the loop
Go punch the puppy
We’ll take it on board
(While I punch the yuppie)

So here’s the game changer
Think outside the box
We need joined up thinking
Heads up, shoot the fox

It’s a no brainer, for it’s got legs
The tastiest coffee still has dregs
So find a window, bump some heads
You can’t make an omelette without cracking eggs

So let’s all sing from the same hymn sheet
For we live in a world full of corporate speak

To take the vaccine
That is the decision
People must make
On Covid nineteen
A choice to decide
by the close of day
I have just reached that crossroads
knowing that the conspiracy theorists
warn people not to have it. Some deny
the existence of Covid, and claim it is no
worse than just a common cold, but I have
decided I'll receive
the first inoculation
It's an easy decision
A no-brainer for me
Although inoculated
sadly my poor Mum
has caught the virus
I can't visit with her
It's so heartbreaking
because she lives in
a facility that I can't
visit as long as there
is a quarantine edict

On the Good Ship Bubble-Pop

Bubbles, see-throughs, delicate floats,
of voyaged sailless boats,
her captain gauge the air around,
blue cast where none e'er drown,
farther distance -- misspoke, rising,
shapeless bows devising,
now turned admiral, sees her fleet,
eyes rounded sterns complete,
some sway starboard, others go port,
she ventures drafts to sort,
she waits till all had left her view,
ere scuttling added crew,
lifts her makeshift pier container,
blows whistle, no-brainer,
toneless wizardry expresses,
anew fleet progresses,
dreams to be, part of the magic,
fit in spheres? a tough trick!

Start From Square One

Start from square one
Pick the low hanging fruit
Work smarter not harder
Drill down to the root

Dive deeper going forward
Get a swat team, touch base
Square the circle, value added
Reach out - save face

Game changer, deal breaker
No brainer, ad hoc
Move the dial, close the deal
Plant the seeds, walk the talk

Get the metrics, crunch the numbers
Roll the rock up the hill
Make the forecast robust
And may the variance be nil

Pump up the expenses
Relax from your flap
Keep an eye on the audits
But don’t worry about GAAP

Plan B with your A game
Ahead of the curve
Drink the Koolaid, baked in
Take a risk, get a nerve

Low ball it, blue sky it
Step off the grid
Use buy-in and win-win and
Get a core competency, kid

Manage up, manage down
Then pull up your sox
And at the end of the day...

...at the end of the day…

think outside the box !

The Memoirs of a Cat Lady

“The Memoirs of a Cat Lady”

you slinked onto my sunny windowsill
winked with your one good eye
a no-brainer, all in your face, head

saucy marmalade pants
bittersweet No. 1 wins the day,
in my bed

oh to be dominant
in my realm of warmth
once again

Moonlight
calculates the temerity
of a head-over-heels

One-eyed Pirate upstart
heart-claiming
Love Cat

she remembers
shameless,
she silently grins
