NEMESIS
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You are my nemesis,
a shadow lurking in the margins,
your whispers curling like smoke
around the edges of my thoughts,
taunting the ink from my pen,
a thief of inspiration,
a thief of peace.
You may loom,
a giant shadow over my page,
but I gather my verses like fireflies,
each flicker a testament,
to the beauty of struggle,
to the art of survival, and
to letting
Premium Memberroutine is my nemesis
routine is my nemesis
schedule is my enemy
I like to change directions in mid flight
being wildly free appeals to me
I do not like to be caught in time restrictions or webs
I enjoy journeying where my feelings take me
repetition and rules I threw out long ago
My days are my own, and I love it so.
No one suggests,
"I'll take you," said Lopez, "to the man who
"has tormented you since you were 42
You'll see his face, you'll get to speak—
"But don't try anything, he's strong and you're weak."
So we went down the big hall, to the underground caves
We went miles into the caverns, under old graves
And there was nemesis, not like a TV
I will lick Limerick – do or die,
As my nemesis tortures, I cry.
     Many tongue twisters short
     And some frosty retort,
But the train has left the station ~ 'Bye!'
Nuclear Nemesis : The Golden Dome
Written By:  D. Collins 5/29/25
With no magnetic field nor atmosphere.
Wouldn't radiation rain down everywhere?
What physics are involved with explosions in space?
And what would be the outcome of the human race?
Would it completely throw our moon out of whack?
Causing major tsunamis or have they thought about that?
I'm no genius but I have simple common sense.
Explosions
Hubris when meets her nemesis
Yesterday’s ours only to muse
On, the morrow, to win or lose.
To those not knowing this,
Time gives a passing kiss--
O it pays well today to choose.
Tethered by Eternity
Bound by the curse arise from inception,
Tethered was my fate,with this ruthless salvation_
Despair got this hand through the reality' shade;
Despite being apoplectic your glint never fades..
Redirected were your sights, only on this influence
While the rumbling glares got healed through your calm incandescence_
"Hey god", if you can feel the sanity of my heart!
Then confront this
NEMESIS
Your past always comes after you
When the future starts coming to you
Some call it conscious
Others calls it demons
Most calls it karma
What go around comes around.
Close to the finish line of all goals
Nemesis always prevail
It's vengeance of thy Law
Which is the Lord
Thy Lord is love
Giving back in return doubled all your dealings.
My Nemesis
Emotions about to explode
Engulfed my chest with might
Breathing deeply ensuring to remain out of sight
But anxiety shall claim its territory for it refuses to abide
Shivering hands lose control
Darling I wish I hadn’t been such a fool
I scream in silence to let my nemesis know
A wretched heart may curse a thousand times more stronger
My claws tearing
"When God given gift is mistaken as self earned power, people become arrogant and arrogance leads to fall"    By Poet.
The crow we see, was once a beautiful bird
Sweet as a lark and white as a swan
The world stood in rapturous glee
As he poured out melodies with such elan
In the realm of battles waged by fate,
Where heroes rise and villains bait,
There dwells a force, unconquerable, vast,
A nemesis, whose shadow is cast.
With nefarious intent, it seeks to harm,
An archenemy, a symbol of alarm.
It weaves its web of darkness deep,
Inflicting punishment vengefully does creep.
No hero can escape its relentless grip.
It thrives on conflicts, which none
Nemesis
If you look into the depth of my eyes
You would see how long I've lived
Scrapped and healed
Over and over again through the years
The nemesis keep repeating itself
It never ends
I always yearn for better days
But no one can contain my selfish self
Just like a kaleidoscope
I color so many life's
With love and cheers
But it wasn't
