NEMESIS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You are my nemesis, a shadow lurking in the margins, your whispers curling like smoke around the edges of my thoughts, taunting the ink from my pen, a thief of inspiration, a thief of peace. You may loom, a giant shadow over my page, but I gather my verses like fireflies, each flicker a testament, to the beauty of struggle, to the art of survival, and to letting the ink flow despite you.

No Nemesis can eclipse your poetic skills for long. This writer's block is temporary which every creative artist encounters once in a while. Your endeavours to combat the shadow falling on you and the eventual success is a testament to the beauty of struggle. This has certainly inspired me. Thank you deaySara.

This is beautifully written and really captures that battle with creative blocks or inner doubts. I love the imagery of shadows and smoke contrasting with fireflies — it feels hopeful and empowering. The poem perfectly shows how struggle can fuel creativity instead of stop it. Very inspiring!
