Blessed Be The Peacemakers
(A prayer to mark this eventful day)
Blessed be the peacemakers
Who change violence into lasting peace
May they become as one team of partakers
and may the deadly fire at long last cease
May God give you strength to bear the worldly burdens
According to our Lord's Scriptures and acts we believe in
An abiding truce, the missing piece
May fall into place for the sake of world peace
Mid East, the cradle of civilization
Bring a brightening day upon mankind's re-creation
Meeting begins, each puts best foot forward,
in as outer appearances do go,
behind banter lurk motives untoward,
sweet words incongruent with intent low,
just waiting to land a deadly death blow.
Weary of blood and gore, been here before,
we sift subterfuge and get to the core,
our call being, it’s not winner take all,
both sides must rejoice, seeking an encore,
in righteousness thus, players standing tall.

we feel the one single life force
flowing though each and every form
feeling their fearful desires coarse
placating souls with embrace warm
with whom should we negotiate
being no longer the doer
no agenda we wish to state
erst desires transformed to vapour
thus we put the other at ease
of their fear tremors cognisant
hoping for their tension release
with thread of truth in agreement

Hello Innkeeper, I would like a room please.
For the night or for the week?
The night please.
He smiles at me with a nice smile.
I return the favor.
With or without stains on the bedding? He asks.
I stare at him hard.
Without please.
Okay, he says cheerfully, but that will cost you double.
How much is that? I ask him.
Three hundred dollars.
For the night?
He nods, and tries to give me keys.
How bad are those stains? I ask.
For decency, cracking jokes is a must.
Imperfect speeches ruin cold air,
ripped words into halves and infuse disgust;
extinguish manner to create a flair.
Crushed down all your sinister snare,
ego marches in with its head held high.
Ambiance rises to a toxic flare,
supposed we have ample weapon supply.
Equality we share not, we defy.
Feature our interests on a plate to dine.
Illicit monies goes down our thigh.
Ripened cherries await our glass of wine.
Embrace our feast with ego overfed.
Set me on fire, my little greed head!
Both groups jest across the desk
Rows of tight posteriors
Drool in unification
Till the crap appears.

around the square table;
like the cheeks of one’s ar*e
together only, till the
crap starts to appear!”
