The Beautiful Mountain Valley

The beautiful mountain valley.......

The mountain valley is the place of nature's gift
Through out the season it shower with beautiful nature
When you stand in between the mountain valley
You feel that the heaven blesses you dearly
You feel that the greenery hug you tightly
You feel that the cool breeze touches you tenderly
You see that the water falls roll over violently
You see that the trees dance to the tune of wind smoothly
You hear that the birds sing nature choir happily
You watch that the animals walk freely
When the nature open its heart widely
It gives everyone a chance to be with nature closely.

SEASONS

The passing seasons color the years,
In a kaleidoscope of colors;
Each known for color all their own,
Yet each enhances the others.

Spring comes in gentle pastel hues,
As slowly waking flowers,
Reach forth to feel the warming sun,
And drink the years first showers.

Then Summer comes upon the scene,
The garden is arrayed,
In blossoms of all size and shape,
And butterflys at play.

Then Nature changes yet again,
To the vibrant colors of Fall.
The firey yellows, reds, and orange,
Most colorful of all;

And last of all the Winter brings,
A crystal pristine scene,
As beneath cool hues of blue and white,
All Nature settles down to dream.

                                                                Judy Ball

Premium Member The Natural Way

THE NATURAL WAY

The natural way
I’m speaking of nature’s way
That which has been known
That which is at times cruel
That which gradually is being lost

Is there an order?
Is there some marvelous plan?
In truth I don’t know
I merely see and think
I think of natural things

Regeneration
Growing things this very Earth!
Things being cut down
Perishings each day
Being replaced by dead things

Our great polar bears
Creatures losing habitat
All forms of our wilderness
Evolution has managed
These many millions of years

Then a foreigner
One who would call himself king
King over nature –
That he was provided for
Fed by nature meant nothing

In place of nature
This king built stone-cold castles
Flaunted his power
Enslaved those ones who opposed
It continues to this day

Man death to nature
Slowly enslaving himself
Till he stands alone
All nature dead at his feet
Desperate to reach a star

Spring Is Here

Nature’s Bliss

Nature’s painting is splendid;
Beautiful and serene indeed!

Each hue and color so unique;
Not even in a rainbow are they seen.

Churps of a bird, fragrance in a flower;
Brings in life, rain in every shower!

Paints the painting nature everyday
Sprays color; wind in every sway.

Mist in the air and fresh breeze;
Bounties of nature are bliss!

Nature's Symphony

Twilight, not yet dawn,
                        Awaits ascent of the sun
Bringing hues of blue, orange, violet, red, and purple
The Aurora…the bright dawning, the daybreak
The birds began to sing their morning songs
A soft breeze joins Nature’s Symphony
Nature becomes a symphony of sound & beauty
                       Nature's scenic phenomenon.
                        Nature reached a crescendo
                         Sunrise, the beginning

At dusk, day's end, the sunset
The eventide, the gloaming, the twilight
The sunset, evermore brightly colored than sunrise
As the sun sets over the horizon, nature falls silent
                         A scenic phenomenon
                  Which only nature could orchestrate
                      Birds sing evening songs
                         Last songs of the day
                      Nature's concert once again,
                        Begins again at sunrise
                             Sunset, the end

Windy Night

WINDY NIGHT

The landscape sings in cacophony.
Complaining loudly, creaking trees
Flex gnarled joints like old men's knees -
Far cry from melodious harmony.

Clouds go scudding over the moon.
No fan of the wind, the cat’s come indoors
Washing her face and licking her paws -
It’s probably going to rain soon.

Washing blows horizontal with wet flaps,
Snapping its salutes like a naval pennant
Or a newly promoted first lieutenant -
On the line it tangles twists and wraps.

Music of nature is sometimes dissonant,
Even more than a Stravinski recital.
Yet the sounds are alive, they are vital -
The clamour and din is Nature exultant.

Nature

NATURE

Nature, nature oh so lovely!
Smiling at the deep blue sea,
Singing, dancing with the flowers,
And greeting the birds with glee.
Nature, Nature oh so lovely!
With sun, moon and stars to see.
I wonder what would it would like be?
With no nature for us to greet.

Premium Member The Tree We Grew To Love

At the bottom of our garden
Standing for many many years
Below seasonal greens and blossoms
And all of natures tears

This gem of harvesting joy
Showered crops of richness grow
For season after season
When autumn came it showed

It's fruits of life stood out
Against the nature of each day
And all who graced this marvel
Were always said to say

This tree from mother earth
Has given year after year
In rain, hail or shine
In beautiful appear

Again this year we were graced
With baskets of apple gold
But sadness cloaked our hearts
For our tree would never grow old

The first winter storm
Spewed bolts of lightning blue
Amidst the claps of thunder
Was gone the tree we knew

We were awoken in the night
By creaks of deafening cry
Looking out the window
Brought tears to our eyes

This marvel that we grew up with
Was cut down in it's prime
For nature had decided
That this was not it's time

The very next morning
Amongst the devastation
Was our tree of life
Shattered, lay her creation

Now many months have passed
On this stump we have grown to love
And recall that stormy night
And that bolt from above

The Birds and the Bees

The Nature at its best
Harbinger of peace
Entire earth in its bosom

Birds at the height of glory
Immensely pretty colours
Radiant and mellow
Dancing in the sky
Sunning amongst the leaves

All around one can see
Nature and her glory
Distant greys mingling with green

The nature at its best
Harbinger of peace
Entire earth in its bosom

  Bees drinking nectar
Enjoying the pretty flowers
Enjoying the heady juice
Summing it all into honey
Dedicated to Carol Brown

Drink of the Gardens

I listen to the sound of the rain
I feel its touch all around
Thunder is the gods making love
A storm of power a beauty of dynamism
Its liquid diamonds that drop from above
The atmosphere is raw as the rain pours

Its nature at its finest the drink of the gardens
The seeds are fed the roses now bloom
The trees stand glistening
The grass sparkles with the dewiness
The ground moist underneath your naked feet
Its a sea of greenest waves

The smell to your senses
Its freshness wants you to admire
A perfume that persits to your being
A beautiful ray of gods essences
Priceless potion of natural substance
Almost drives your thirst

I listen to the sound of the rain
I feel its touch all around
Its nature at its finest the drink of the gardens
The seeds are fed the roses now bloom
The smell to your senses
Its freshness wants you to admire

LOVE:
“Life, Birds, Bees and Trees”

The beauty is nature in birds and the bees,
Hidden life within the hives and the trees,
Exact and complete, as nature doeth please.

Birds and bees are of life’s essence to please,
In most unique ways, nature take her ease,
Riding air currents, and nesting in trees,
Dawn of life’s freedoms still rustles in leaves,
Steadfast freedoms of God’s faith believes.

As we stand, in nature’s plan, in awe of bees,
Now of the bee’s honey how nature doeth please,
Dawn of life‘s freedom, still rustles in tree leaves.

The last shall become first, but shan’t be the least,
Hail! “All good in nature comes from the east,
Enjoy, don't destroy, our nature's beast!”

Bees and birds of nature, beauty and sweet honey,
Efficient to please, but man loves his money,
Employ not money, but Love life’s honey,
Sweet nature love makes honey, man makes money.

Billy Buttons

Billy Buttons
under the
Celery Pines

free verse

Billy Button's downy foliage
Burst open with large gold blooms.
Midst thousands of dandelion's green
Above, celery pines tip their plumes.

Grasslands wave contently in the fields
Missouri golden rods climb the hill.
Broom beard grass and buffalo clover
Send subtle earthy scents, cross my sill.

Mulberry's beckoning to the blue ash,
Creeping soft grass hides the jasmine crepes.
Water pond seeks dry nooks and crannies
As nature swags her majestic drapes.

All of nature is alive and full of romance
Kissed by morning dew she opens her buds
Her long silky fingers rustle all to wake
Bejeweling earth in vibrant colored studs.

      Well deserved: they laugh.

Everywhere the trees are so green
Most beautiful sights ever seen
With snow capped mountains in between
And the rivers flowing so pristine
I love hiking the trails very long
Each step my heart is beating her song
If you would like to please come along
To get away from the crowded throng
I love having our nature so near
Walking amongst it my mind is clear
And I think about what I revere
All the things to me that I hold dear

It is nature that I admire most
And where I live now she is so close
