Ambush

AMBUSH Hidden predator, Waits patiently for it's prey. Survival to the swift. Judy Ball Haiku is an unrhymed Japanese style poem recording the essence of a moment. It has a nature theme which is why I personally like it, nature lover that I am. It usually consists of 3 lines. Count is 5,7,5

Judy, type in Maureen Lefanue. I think that is it. My previous cat was the best I ever had. We never let her go outside. She lived 18 years. They say a purely indoors cat will live long. three times longer than outside cat. If we had caught her cancer earlier, she may have been alive even today four years later!!!

Many a predator ambushes it's prey, and efficiently as well. Fine Haiku Judy :)

Haiku has become quite popular as has Senryu. They are both the same except Haiku has a Nature theme and Senryu has a humanities theme. Syllable count is 5,7,5 . I had one too many syllables in the last line on this one. Have fun with it and thanks so much for stopping by. God Bless, JB

Good ending line, but it's one count too many, sweetie. Thanks for your comments to me and sorry I took so long to see your poetry. Luv, Andrea

Thanks so much my friend. Hope I didn't step on any toes by adding the description of form. I'm not well versed on forms and usually just write what sounds good to me. God Bless, JB
