Premium MemberGod Walks Warmly Alongside Death

Life goes through a controlled cycle
All that live must die
Else, would we not be objects of shadows
Trying to accomplish feats which are so unnatural?

God, an entity which we have not yet understood
Is good to all of existence
Since He creates, He also needs to destroy
Merely to allow the wheel of fate to keep on revolving
Since He creates, He created an entity to help him
In destroying that which he brought to be,
Death, in all its splendour!

God walks warmly alongside death
As the fate meant for those who died
Will be depending upon their own actions
The wheels have to keep turning
While God needs to keep feeding the universe:
Souls just transit through Earth
And their tendency is evaluated before they get sent
To there which suits them best;
Whether in highly spiritual places
Or down below the murkiest hell fires!

God is content in having created Death
God walks beside him and engages in conversations with him
God sups with him and even shares jokes with him
While we remain under the control of their will
Unable to be anything else other than
Lit dandelions blown in the vast sea of the universe!

Premium MemberWar of the Soul

Pride jumped into a frightening battle,
Too selfish, this war was never settled,
Almost so dark, felt like stars would rattle.
Inside, pride’s heart and spirit were mettled.

Pride rejected kindness and charity,
She listened to the dark world of conceit,
While I avoided her sincerity,
Knowing her dark vengeance was bittersweet.

Refusing to heed soul’s humility,
Pride, she’d surely bleed the murkiest grief,
Battling in a war called futility,
Pride will get you nowhere, that’s my belief!

Premium MemberWith Tears

Silent tears hold the loudest pain - author unknown.

Just when I think no one will know,
There comes a soft and gentle flow,
Silently sighing o’er the light,
Stirring my heart’s kindness to glow.

Reflected on moments so bright,
Painting my soul with dreams I write,
Vows broken never can reveal,
Spoken by those who know my plight.

Wonders, breathless, are quite real,
Capture my dreams with their appeal,
Breaking through the murkiest fears,
Proving love is stronger than steel.

Blessing with love that lasts thru years,
Graceful and sure, darkness soon clears,
Even though I weep soundless tears.
Yes, how I weep those soundless tears!

Fire and Brimstone

FIRE AND BRIMSTONE

Whitened collar, fixedly starched
To the ultimate limits of self-perfection,
Points righteous, crooked finger
At an open-mouthed assembly,
Crouching beneath thick-
Eyebrowed gaze of a dark
Frock-coated scarecrow.

His cackling voice emits
Hollowed-out squawks,
Casting lines of invective
Like steel confetti
Into the ironic celebration
Of a judgemental wedding
For outsiders, condemned
Beyond the pale.

Heaven is expunged by murkiest haze of hell,
Begrimed in dark, closed-off shades,
A treacherous welcome for
Those who smear themselves
With so much intrigued slime of purest evil,
Cloaked with superior innocence
For the delightful delectation
Of ascetic, hair-shirted fools.

Truth Be a Liar

Question the lustrous brilliance of starlight
burning like flares in murkiest hours of night.
Ponder with skepticism that Earth moves.
I will accept it, though my mind behooves.

Tell me you believe that Truth can be a Liar,
but not for a moment think that I will conspire
with another. I vow before His Holiness above...
Never will I give you cause to doubt my love.

Premium MemberIn My Dreams

Moonlight with stardust breathes into my soul
Whispering light and love through my heart
Touching my thoughts with soft silence
Calm feelings rush through my veins
Hues of crimson kindness
Soothing my feelings
With bold insights
Inspiring
Playful
Joy
Hope
Echoes
With passion
Tantalizing
Purest compassion
Faith’s surreal inkling
Of mystery haunting in
Dark shadows of murkiest night
Violet melodies dance freely
Creating bright dreams of serenity

Doing Job's Time

"Doing Job's time"

I try to run but it keeps following me, running out of breath and out of stamina it grabs me and l deteriorate....

It's in my head torturing my heart, to pollute my spirit to yield.

I call out your name, you don't answer so l scream for comfort, l get none.
There must be poison in my system because every day I am getting weaker.

I am now a shell of the man l used to be, the memory l preserved as an escape, now a pain it hurts to think and reminisce about the good old days.

Hands shaking, brain cracking and friends dissolving like salt to water, the bitter taste of dark times.

Breath in my lungs,
Heart still pumping,
And demise not on schedule, l shall rise again, l shall heal with time for the murkiest hour is never marsha to dawn and God has never let me down!

Through his love, l will survive!

Premium MemberThank You Women

Women rise not only when needed but when noticing
Things need to be changed,
Wanting more fairness, more community,
Inspired by hope, and joy,
Wanting to better the future for their children's children

Women take the lead when pushed by feelings,
Knowing they are raising heroes and heroines
Wanting to inspire them
Saturating them with empathy and love
Wanting to make the world a safer, and more honest place

Women take the helm and steer the pirate ships
Through the muddiest, murkiest, most maniacal months
Wanting to better the world, and make it safe
Bringing positivity, optimism, and faith
Back in buckets, to be dispersed lavishly

Thank you women, for making the world what it is today.

Premium MemberI'll Walk Alongside You

To the mountaintop, the moon, and back
In times of peace and war,
From daybreak to sundown
Until the Mississippi River runs dry
                               I'll walk alongside you

Sunday, Monday, and always
From pitch-darkness to a beacon of light
Through pathways of life fraught
With boomerang possibilities
                              I'll walk alongside you

Across the murkiest of waters
Through obstacles and towering infernos
Through life's joys and sorrows
Through the razor's edge
                            I'll walk alongside you

When your legs grow weak with fatigue,
When your body and spirit deplete
Through the roughest of terrains
Come what may
                          I'll walk alongside you

For Memorial Day

Upon my life, I do declare, my dear,
My Darling, Elizabeth, that I do
Love you from the depths of my soul to the
Greatest reach of my fingertips, from where
My boots tread, to the lengths my heart can reach.
My most Precious One, my heart sank like stone
Descending lost in murkiest shadows
With each tear coursing down your lovely cheeks.
I would never volitionally choose
To leave your side, for intertwin’d our souls
Remain. The Enemy charg’d, our line held,
Yet I took shrapnel in my chest. Still my
Fondest desire is to see your face
And kiss away your deep clouds of sorrow.

Set Free

I thought the previous version was a little too long, I feel that this shorter one captures the essence with less story.

A place to belong,
Neither here nor there
Shadows of one's self,
to shy from scrutiny
Aching heart,
Unbearable thoughts
In its murkiest depth,
A little child, crying
"Where is my peace?"

Cries to be set free.

What Love Is Not

At one time I used to feel
What I now believe is not real.
This girl I knew once held my heart,
And it is from there that I shall start:
Our eyes made contact from across the room;
Like a siren's song, it spelled my doom.
She came to me, and asked my name.
I answered her, and she did the same.
An instant spark did light a fire,
Soon I was filled with brimming desire.
A few weeks passed; I was in love.
She was a gift from the gods above.
Divine would be too soft a word,
And her voice was far sweeter than any bird.
With eyes more vivid than all the stars
She gazed away my pain and scars.
Two years elapsed, and we were in bliss:
I could feel our vow sealed in every kiss.
But my demons soon clawed their way back,
For my thoughts were consumed with the murkiest black.
She promised me she would never leave,
Though all that changed when I rolled up my sleeve.
All those years were then erased,
She left as tears bled from my face.

Silver Painting

Sad-faced moon rising...
painting in soft, bright silver
the murkiest ocean.
