Premium Member My Motto For TODAY

"We are not just the future to come, We are 'The FutureNow'.
What we do NOW will determine WHO and WHAT we will be TOMORROW.
What I was YESTERDAY is what I am TODAY. When TODAY comes it is no longer YESTERDAY. It is TODAY and when the FUTURE comes, it is TODAY.
Stop worrying about what you did YESTERDAY and concentrate on TODAY and what you will be TOMORROW, because when TOMORROW comes it is TODAY.
The FUTURE is always in front of you and you will never catch up with it. It will always be 'The FutureNow'."

Respecting man, a motto or a myth?

Human rights, what a nice phrase
Permeates the mind in fanciful ways
Peace everywhere, what a sweet dream
Of ethics’ crop, it seems the cream

Equal we stand before the law
Yet some are taller, longer in the paw
Equality lives only in books
In the real world, some have better looks

Of human rights, some have a lot more
Based on yardsticks rotten to the core
Some preach for long on merits of peace
While wheels of war, they willingly grease

As the world burns in flames of war
Warmongers escape feathers and tar
The innocent pay for the wicked’s wrong
And thus is sung the human song

But wait, this is just the ugly part
To make life comely, man has the art
Many noble souls follow lofty goals
To improve life for human shoals

Be it by fighting for human rights
Freedom, justice for blacks and whites
Or bringing peace in war-ravaged zones
Or Healing the wounds and broken bones

To end injustice, they will do their best
Wherever it is, whether east or west
Truly human they always remain
Give meaning to life and ease the pain

Premium Member Need of the hour

From apes we have evolved,
The theory of evolution declares.
As social beings we gradually advanced;
Ignoring harmony, we suddenly ruined.
The advent of caste, creed and religion
Has broken up the world into fragments.
Our deities, prophets and saints taught us
The principles of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.
It’s time we make peace, love, understanding and mercy,
The pillars on which humanity survives, our sole motto.

Premium Member -Life Motto

Live everyday on earth like its your last

I have heard it be said

Though not the wisest motto for me

As my days would be spent eating chocolate in bed

Premium Member SPOKANE MOTTO

May all of us be blessed…
every child,
every woman
every man….
to live a life with a motto like the city of Spokane.

It’s a beautifully simple motto…
but it’s meaning is so powerful and strong…
The motto of this city:
In Spokane we all belong

is complemented
with physical beauty;
these two are every
man's desire.

Lotto and Gambling Compared

I find little wrong with lotto.
They don’t play it in a grotto:
Hotels and parks lovers go to;
Camera free with its photo,
On some scene of play priest’s motor.
He knew where the rivers flow to...

Or should we fault the lotto:
It make a thing to say “No” to?
An airplane to stop its rotor?
Then, it is igneous-hard: your motto!
The lotto not like marked gambling,
For which you dropped not keys jangling,
Later on some walls fists banging;
For evening up of scores angling.

Hopes of gain rule the mind in both
But gamblers lots of feared laws quote:
Risk consciousness less in lotto,
Gambling: frequent site in ghetto.

Afford lotto guys could child’s smile
While few things gamblers stretch a mile:
You love gambling, you love some gun;
Mad gambler takes along his son...
So, what little wrong has lotto?
There are holier games to cling to.

A Motto For Life

Never will the soul kneel to despair
Because ease by God's will is coming
And with it joy and laughter.

Before we can thrive
First gotta survive :)

But God's always there
For our every care! :-D

Rambler's Motto

Gentle Earth, and you
Inseparable, no?
If made, as meant for
Why shun? Enjoy!

With each rushed up breeze
Of its embrace
Lover's, perfume-filled
Lover's revives
Hilled and coastally
Opes wide its arms
Feeling that rapport
Instinct. Not coy!

from tribes
        we have come,
                 to tribes we return.

Premium Member First Date Motto

Don’t touch my heart, don’t touch my lips,
Don’t touch my soul, don’t touch my hips,
Leave my body parts alone -
Rather touch my funny bone!
If you can crack me up and cheer,
Chance for a romance starts from here.

Childhood Sayings

This was our family's saying,
"Lost something?" they're braying,
"Look in the bin!' family motto,
Arbiter of stuff, the rubbish grotto!

Premium Member Aphorisms

Does your conniption fit?

If it's not a laughing matter, then it's not important.

Did you ever notice that when you stir a glass of something, the spoon says, "Jibiddy jibiddy jibiddy jibiddy"?

Worst first name of anyone I ever met: Schmedroy.
