This was our family's saying,
"Lost something?" they're braying,
"Look in the bin!' family motto,
Arbiter of stuff, the rubbish grotto!
Masculinity
is the manifestation
of one's body,
handsomeness
is complemented
with physical beauty;
these two are every
man's desire.
Tread lightly on the earth - you are walking on the back of your own children's future
inspired by Sierra Club and Brian Strand's contest
Never will the soul kneel to despair
Because ease by God's will is coming
And with it joy and laughter.

All Things Share
Here is what everyone's
haiku motto should be.
Here there everywhere
For each other we should care
With them all things share.
Life’s punches - roll with ‘em or get bowled over - your choice
Either way, you still have to pick yourself up
Inspired by Brian Strand's Contest
from tribes
we have come,
to tribes we return.

Live everyday on earth like its your last
I have heard it be said
Though not the wisest motto for me
As my days would be spent eating chocolate in bed
.
To hit hard
and not to be hit,
boxers believe
each jab and hook
and straight to chance
they just can't leave.
Yeah, with punches,
it's better to give
than to receive!

Once there was an academic entrepreneur called Husain
framed a motto for his institution titled “Routing the sane”
“Live Love Learn” no good
“Love Learn Live” too good
Bloody Husain my motto in life “Love Laugh Live” sane?
Walk along the beach at night, only to be led by the moonlight! Live your life, by the risks
you take, love until your heart breaks! Smile when you want to sigh, and by god, LAUGH
UNTIL YOU CRY! Thats my motto on LIFE! Cindie Wilson
Form:
Life is cold, with a little hint of warmth.
Life is bitter, with a little hint of sweetness.
And
Life is full of opportunities, with little time to spare.
But despite this hardships I will prevail,
And become 13 times the man that I am.
Gentle Earth, and you
Inseparable, no?
If made, as meant for
Why shun? Enjoy!
With each rushed up breeze
Of its embrace
Lover's, perfume-filled
Lover's revives
Hilled and coastally
Opes wide its arms
Feeling that rapport
Instinct. Not coy!
Does your conniption fit?
If it's not a laughing matter, then it's not important.
Did you ever notice that when you stir a glass of something, the spoon says, "Jibiddy jibiddy jibiddy jibiddy"?

May all of us be blessed…
every child,
every woman
every man….
to live a life with a motto like the city of Spokane.
It’s a beautifully simple motto…
but it’s meaning is so powerful and strong…
The motto of this city:
In Spokane we all belong
Don’t touch my heart, don’t touch my lips,
Don’t touch my soul, don’t touch my hips,
Leave my body parts alone -
Rather touch my funny bone!
If you can crack me up and cheer,
Chance for a romance starts from here.

Bite Size Contest
to hit and not to be hit, boxers believe
each jab, each punch to chance they just can't leave,
for a kayo,
box the foe,
here, it's better to give than to receive !
Endulge in peace and rebuff war
Embrace faith and to your heart accord franchise
Step where you could trigger a grin
Endulge in peace and rebuff war
Advocate fortitude and malevolence entomb
Capitulate to love and to rectitude succumb
Endulge in peace and rebuff war
Embrace faith and to your heart accord franchise.
First hear it from my Mom and Dad,
at first I thought the idea absurd,
but then I thought what the heck,
so I went outside to look around and check,
Investigating every single inch of property,
some squirrels running by my young feet,
with my happiness being short lived,
when I noticed no money growing on our trees.

We have one life to live
And this life's not a dress rehearsal
Drink the cup of life full to its brim
And keep it overflowing

Contest: Write a quote by Judy Konos
dug up
unearthed
a time capsule
of sorts yesterday
will planting a tree
when the capsule
was unlocked
inside was found
a lovely heart shaped
antique locket
the motto
inscribed within
the locket was
indicative of a time
gone by
when their was hope
when their was faith
living within the youthful
heart
imagination drifted
to thoughts of where
are they now
If I am desperate, I have no hope
If I am thirsty, I cannot cope!
If I am hungered, I will cry for more
If I am lonely, I will shut the door!
If In Jesus, I do believe
Hope will flourish; I will receive!
If with Jesus, I will sync
Rivers of living water I will drink!
If unto Jesus, I will go
I’ll never hunger, I will grow!
If Jesus, I choose follow
“I’M NOT ALONE” will be my motto!

From apes we have evolved,
The theory of evolution declares.
As social beings we gradually advanced;
Ignoring harmony, we suddenly ruined.
The advent of caste, creed and religion
Has broken up the world into fragments.
Our deities, prophets and saints taught us
The principles of ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’.
It’s time we make peace, love, understanding and mercy,
The pillars on which humanity survives, our sole motto.
