Premium MemberIf Wisdom Was A Picture

If wisdom was a picture, how beautiful she’d be.
Words melting into hues, in perfect harmony.
Truth revealed for all to see in reflective symmetry.
Like rhythmic waves flowing in an open sea.

Premium MemberTriumphant While Staying Low

"A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit." Proverbs 29:23 of the King James Bible

Aspiring for achievement glow
That vanquishes painful defeat’s shadow
Arrogance stands at loftiness gate for a show
While selfishness glitters midst jewel of hypocrite’s woe…
Oh, proud human nature, needs heaven blow
To mutter need for divine blessing flow
And be triumphant, staying low.

Premium MemberHeaven's Classic Vignette

"Sunsets are so beautiful that they almost seem as if we were looking through the gates of heaven."
                                         — John Lubbock
I stand watching the salmon sun set,
It's as beautiful as it can get,
Nothing more divine discovered yet,
     Heaven's classic everyday vignette.

Premium MemberSmooth Caramel

You say you're not magic, but you conjur incredibly well
Thoughts of a wand forming happiness, a beautiful carousel
A ring that dispels loves hunger like a dinner bell
I choose to be drowned inside your pools of smooth caramel
May your sweetness be the last thing I ever see or smell
Damn the devil, YOU can have my soul; a confession I pray tell
The way you protect my heart shields me from every hell
My love is well past forever; no need, for your eyes to compel

Premium MemberWinter’s Rumbling

glistening, gently tumbling
washing hearts pure, humbling
resounding lights, mumbling
glitter alive, flakes fumbling
snow glowing bright, as I’m stumbling
through the wonderful, grumbling
so each flake sails, escapes – bumbling
glistening, gently tumbling…

on the edge of the winter’s rumbling

Premium MemberGlasswings

Masters in transparency, they fly
Towards beauty, never open sky
Were they borosilicate, maybe they would never ever die
Resurrecting of time, their transparency one can not deny
Anyway, they could affect the outcome of existence; it will in itself indemnify
But time for the Greta oto is fallible; as it should be for any glasswing butterfly

Premium MemberMeadows

Stepping out into the warm morning sun to find it holding hands with the meadows
The grass and the flowers dance synchronously with each other's shadows
Elated, in watching life come alive, elevated from slumbering in their burrows
Reminded of how my happiness has risen against now long forgotten sorrows
My mind's camera is taking snapshots, I suppose
Saving to memory; how beautiful they're exhibited by each expose
Dreams of anticipation as the anchor of time pulls the sunshine to another close
What I find in tomorrow's meadow may very well eclipse what in today's has arose

Premium MemberHere apostrophe s hoping

Hope is on my ceiling
suffusing through the air
Hides beneath floorboards
that rot beyond repair
Hope is all pervasive
can lead anywhere
Very hard to pinpoint
and totally unaware

Hope is unapologetic
doesn’t really care
Probably won’t happen
if it does, hope its fair
Hope is a fantasy
from my comfort chair
Soothing, calming,
keeps away despair

Hope is beautiful
ugly when unfair
Can be quite powerful
when beyond all care
Hope is fifty fifty
perhaps a dream to share
Save mine for the grave
God knows, I’ll need it there

Premium MemberOde to Hellgrammite

aquatic insect larvae has a weird name all right
You can guess all day, but it is hellgrammite
I know it sounds crazy, but it does have a strong bite.
I could probably make a song and sing it with delight.

Hellgrammite, oh hellgrammite
How beautiful you look in the moon’s vast light
I want to scoop you up, you are so tight!
You make me happy both day and night

I'M A CORDIAL MAN

I'm a Cordial man

A cordial man with a beautiful sight,
I know this is just not right
But no, I will never fight
It’s hard for me to write .

How can I turn on the light
It looks like the naughty night
But where is the noble knight
Oh, I need help tonight.

O God lend me your light
Give me strength to write.

Premium MemberA beautiful milestone of combined sentiment

How could I not love the level to which you live life perfect, so insouciant
You would walk beside me in heavy rain, with no umbrella; to contentment
We are both happy with our makeup, souls binded in water so succulent
A combination of an unlikely myriad, to which we equally compliment
Each other in a way that no one else would find the same contentment
You are simply a convivial representative for my life's failed acknowledgment
I hope you find this to be your own; a beautiful milestone of combined sentiment

Premium MemberThe Birthing Room

To carry a child in your womb
And then allow nature to bloom
As you swell now like blue moon
And there’s a crowd in the birthing room

For one born in the midst of June
Dr nurses swaddle and swoon
Heart of God is this art maroon
Mothers pain replaced by a tune

Lullaby for cries to meet her soon
Mother and tribe family welcomes you
Big beautiful eyes shiny and new
Jewel of life a crown of youth

Premium MemberYou do wear a crown

Maybe it's in the elegance of your hair falling like a gown?
Or the majesty of you; invisible, but you do wear a crown
A smile like no other, in defiance of every frown
Is it just me, or does happiness follow you around?
To just hear the beauty of your voice renown
The pools of light within your eyes, I certainly could drown
They are ethereal; not often, though, do stars fall down
So worthy is your acquaintance; it brought me to this town

Premium MemberShowing me the universe

Arm-in-arm unspoken is the message received; neither of us is looking to disperse;
Standing parallel, hands held laced, with a kiss to yours averse
I'll look for days at a loss for simple ways to remember each smile you intersperse;
Though our dinner is done, can we still be spoons who can also converse?
I hold your head, and we watch the sky fade to honey-red; day, please reverse!
Be damned the stars playing out the scene of all nights past rehearse
As city lights come on all around us, I'm lifted from a lifetime's blinding curse
On this terrace, while they sparkle in your eyes, you're showing me the universe

Premium MemberCreating A Happy Space

Talk to me
Set your thoughts free
Find in me your peace
Know I am discreet
Show me your beliefs
Stand on them indeed
Like holy book we read
Boaz your Ruth is unique
Piercing heart so deep
And all fears do cease
Creating a beautiful unity
Faithful and filled with glee
Planted like green seed
Romantic and beautiful sweet
Feelings that never leave
Healing so much indeed
Smiles that never leave
Wild like fuchsia fantasy
Following loves true lead
Making so happy
