When you reach
the top of the mountain
remember it is not about the mountain

On the time scale of the Maker
Just the blinking of an eye
But on his latest Creation
Millennia had passed by.
The ko-ko-ko birds no longer
Did their burnished daily run
Circling the World under
The steady square Sun
For they, like the Tigrons, were
Now almost completely gone.
In the Maker’s absence so many
Sorts of things had moved on.

Momentum Part Two,- Hope

He returned to his quite recent creation
Just to make check on the current situation.
Tigrons slid in from the plains to lie at their ease
Away from midday sun under those singing trees,
Stretching lazily leisurely showing razored claw
In unconscious reminder of nature in the raw.

The ko-ko-ko birds still made their daily run
Fast blonde flashes in that pulsing

He conjured a world whose moon was quite square
And the ko-ko-ko bird grew  burnished blonde hair
That rippled and shimmered and shone in the sun
As each bird set off on its world circling daily run
Over the mountains to shores of each pearly sea
Through swaying groves of the world singing tree
That sang healing rhythms and respectful

Teachable Momentum

Today
we left off yesterday
to pick up
where speaking non-violent principles 
too often neglect to listen
to liberally artistic,
green and active
yet non-reactive
compassionate healers
may need to co-invest more
in co-operating democratic research
of
and for
WholeEarth DiaLogical Matriotism.

Excuse me,
but co-passioned listening
to silence
speaks not consent
to dispassionate lectures

Featuring compassionate feelings,
in every way but delivery
of impassioned communication
compatible with thoughtful principles of non-violent change
more intuitive, less overwhelmingly

Momentum

The moments we share are a gift,
uniquely qualified.
A magnetic shift, of consciousness, 
of honed homing sense equalized.

Through the protective layers it
sifts, like the hungry for a meal.
Moments weigh us in the balance
like a scale, 
scaling what can be, and becoming fare.
Selling us there the fabrics 
and colors possibilty wants to wear.

He stared at the empty sheet in front of him. Everything had been said. Minstrel’s nightmare and it was only ten in the morning. Writer’s block. A poet arrested in void with nothing left to say. A pile of paper crumbled up in contempt of bland trivia. Thoughts so banal, repetitive, meaningless and fragmented, that

Joggers and walkers and puppies at play,
Taxis and Ubers and ferries – 
All that I saw at the start of my day,
Plus the fruit stands with melons and berries.

7 AM and the city’s alive – 
Awakened, refreshed and prepared
To bicycle, power walk, run or to drive,
Some with coffee they quickly have snared.

The energy, palpable as

Ere the Grassy Knoll Gathers Momentum

Early on, ere the grassy knoll gathers momentum
  huddled shivering against the ground, stemless tops 
of yellow dot the lawns of the old neighborhood, signaling
  winter's demise without shouting Spring too loudly...

In a wink or a blink of an eye, these wild buttons 
  mushroom, spreading far and wide, usurping
the green mantle
