Igor Goldkind is a poet, author and independent scholar from San Diego, California.  At the age of 14, was  Science Fiction Coordinator for the San Diego Comic Con. It was in this capacity that he met Ray Bradbury, whom he asked for advice about becoming a writer.  After studying philocophy at UCSC and poetry at SFSU, he moved to France to study with Michel Foucault and England where he made a successful career in the publishing industry coining the term "Graphic Novels" in the early '90s.  Igor Goldkind’s award-winning book, IS SHE AVAILABLE?, incorporates poetry, art, music, and animation; in collaboration with over 25 artists from the comic, fantasy and fine art (as well as the jazz composer Gilad Atzmon) and is published by Chameleon Publishing.  Igor Goldkind’s most recent work TAKE A DEEP BREATH – LIVING WITH UNCERTAINTY is on sale now and was  International Beat Poetry Festival on September 5th, 2020
