My brain's on the mend.
I need a little time and patience.
Some tender loving care prescribed.

Glioblastoma
The word seems so exotic
The blasting of 'glios'
Heady; erotic
Though glioblastoma
Is anything but
As it ravages her body
With a blade and a cut
She battles each day
With defiant ferocity
Determined to beat
This violent atrocity
Glioblastoma
You've now met your match
Her grit and resilience
Will swiftly dispatch
But you'll keep on coming
Afraid to give in
Starting new wars
Oozing your sin
I'll stay by her side
And fight on her team
I'll never give in
To your deadly scheme
She'll never be lost
To your boring statistics
She'll rise like a phoenix
Defying ballistics
Well I wonder
If I sleep,
Will tonight be good dreams?
Or will the nightmares of the day continue on?
And if my sleep will not come
Will new worries cease to start?
Or am I doomed to worry till I'm gone?
And I wonder.
My wife
She's far away
In our home that she's made
From the broken timbers of my broken strife.
My love, how it tears
And I wonder if she's aware
She the first thought of my ever
waking life.
And I wonder.
You see I'm so far
Away from my home
In a little box
Cold, sterile and dark.
While my little boy
He fights
Being ravaged inside
By an enemy that I cannot mark.
Yeah, I wonder.
Will I ever finally know
Is this how far we can go?
Or will I get to keep somehow driving on?
If I knew just how rough
This journey would be…
The road to love and home
It seems so long.
So I wonder.
And I can't stop the tears
Rolling down my face
And the time lost has left me out of place.
Will my wife her love send?
Will my son go home again?
Or is this just another way to end
All my wonder.
A single tear is all I can give,
For my body is drained of that pleasure.
I’m too weak to remember the years I lived,
Or the days too heavy to measure.
So where does that leave me falling?
What is it that could cure me?
A single walk would tell me nothing -
But at least for a moment I’d be free.
I see her kitten again.
Is he trying, or is he dying?
I think this is feline immunodeficiency?
Will she fall back in love with that husband
once that kitten is gone?
Folk with cats can be strange.
My friend is like that: very fond of cats.
He seems to have immunodeficiency.
The cat, not the husband.
Though he seems to be trying.
The husband, not the cat.
Will she fall back in love
with that man of hers,
once her kitten has gone?
Yes, she seems to be trying.

This is a call to all sufferers
hanging themselves in their own arms
apart from the one they desire
tired of nights sleeping alone
restless in grave prisons of the
place they would rather be,
whispering wishes and psalms to the
silence of walls that will never speak.
Seeking out their most beloved unknowns
that which they do not know outside of sleep,
the reason for their itch to stay in bed
for its ease to dream and play on nocturnal grounds
away from emptiness of waking
when time is occupied by working and despair and drinking.
An escape to care and to be cared for unconditionally
from the depths of a majestic heart,
that reciprocates the true yearning
between two divine animals
to frolic and escape the solitude
of the malnourished zoo of the world.
I am sick because I miss you
Caught in the fever of missing you
Your words and laughter ,a distant song
In my solitude, that Beauty, I long
I am Cold because I miss you
I can't think but think of you
Symptoms of longing, an emotional strain
In this unwell heart, love's refrain.
This illness of longing is a tender pain
A malady from the heart, a lovesick refrain
Yearning for your presence and its warmth
Healing awaits in the echo of your name
I am sick because I miss you
Caught in the fever of missing you
Your words and laughter ,a distant song
In my solitude, that Beauty, I long
I am Cold because I miss you
I can't think but think of you
Symptoms of longing, an emotional strain
In this unwell heart, love's refrain.
This illness of longing is a tender pain
A malady from the heart, a lovesick refrain
Yearning for your presence and its warmth
Healing awaits in the echo of your name
100,000 years of nirvana
Experiencing the pain and sorrow in the land of mortals
Breaking the divine law.
Embracing the Empyrian heart
Why care so much on what is divine or mortal?
Dancing through the dreaming world of flowers
If the song is not to taste
and effaced the joy of the moonlit palace.
Simply change the sound of the magick
Anger and grief are hard to dissipate
Turning to the rivers, mountains and lakes
Smiling in the love sick trials of taiyin
How to find the eternal heart of Compassion?
A demon or an immortal?
how often can they be consumed
in the trials of the mortal heart song
Grieving with the sky
The Flowers bloom on the moonlit lake
And all around blood drips down
Where can we meet again?
This broken heart the heavens are jealous of.
Unlike any other king, my father is the most powerful
He can build a mansion in seconds still he chose to be humble
He prefers giving to taking for this is his principle
Sacrificing himself selfishly just so I can live on
I remember the way he looked at me when he saw me sick
I could tell he was worried and all he wished for was a speedy recovery
I saw him folding his hands in prayer and blessings was all I felt descending
Many times I wonder why the care is much
So I do things intentionally just to see his wrath
But all I get from him are words of change and such
Which makes me feel guilty and emotionally touched
There was a time he left his throne and came to the street in rags
He heard and saw the bad guys who wanted me beaten to death
He fell and took the blows and bleeds from their knives for me
I couldn't help but scream my hatred for my painful lags
If I could do things over I'll live my life again
and never take it for granted but live with joy and fain
For his hands are soft and kind and his eyes filled with love
He is the God of all gods and THE GREATEST FATHER EVER.
She left me feeling breathless.
All it took was just one kiss.
I never thought the girl I love
could make me feel like this.
In sickness and in health
what exactly does that mean
standing at their bedside
telling them 'all will be fine'
holding one another's hand
going through it together
sharing simple lives
loving each other heart-to-soul
through words or in silence
spending time together
what does it mean
it means never-ending love
My dearest daughter, my ray of sunshine
You bring so much happiness to my life
But when I see you struck with pain
It pierces through me, like a knife
I wish I could always protect you
I wish I could keep you safe from harm
But sometimes you'll get sick or hurt
And I'll be the one to sound the alarm
I'll hold you close to my aching heart
And give you all the love I know
Hopefully that will be enough
And you'll recover as I watch you grow
Not every ailment is cause for worry
But I'll still panic in quiet distress
Praying that these times will pass
While trying my best not to stir and obsess
I'll hold your hand through every struggle
Or any time at your request
For as long as I have you in my life
I'll know what it's like to be truly blessed
