Premium Member I Need Magic

I need a magic potion
I need a magic spell
I need a magic wand
To get me out of this hell

I need to make him notice
I need to make him speak
I need to make him desire
To be love sick and weak

I want to be ravishing
I want to be full of grace
I want to be bewitching
To see passion in his face

I want to be victorious
I want to reign supreme
I want to be the queen
To be worshipped in his dream

I need to cook up a potion
I need to mix it right
I need to make him drink it
To look at me with delight.

My magic potion is rancid
My magic wand is dead
My magic spell is useless
To make him love me instead.

Premium Member You Think Me Silly- a Rant

You think me silly and verbose
When love is on my mind…
Fickle fickle full of fluff
Love sick, crazy, blind

Deviant...defiant
Sexually overcharged
Big picture oblivious
And from your life discharged

You read my lines and smirk a while
And think, “Oh dear, Hee Hee!”
But when it comes right down to it
You wish you were like me (Women)
You'd jump in bed with me (men)

It might have a one track mind
But of that I am glad
Life has enough to bring me down
Enough to make me sad

I write of love and passion
And feelings so sublime
You don’t need to read me
Nor be a friend of mine!

But of this I am certain
Of this I’m ever proud
Passion is my heartbeat
l let it beat OUT LOUD!

If you don’t like sultry
Want nature writes and such
There’s someone else to read
So, thank you very much!

Started on this poem some time ago, but left it unfinished. Not in the mood for something new, so I picked this one up and finished it. I don't JUST write about passion and romance and love, but....it is what I love best. I've accepted who I am and I will fight to preserve my identity. I'm tired of a world of people who are judgmental and stuffy....people who don't know how to FEEL and CELEBRATE passion. Thanks for reading.

Glioblastoma

Glioblastoma
The word seems so exotic
The blasting of 'glios'
Heady; erotic

Though glioblastoma
Is anything but
As it ravages her body
With a blade and a cut

She battles each day
With defiant ferocity
Determined to beat
This violent atrocity

Glioblastoma
You've now met your match
Her grit and resilience
Will swiftly dispatch

But you'll keep on coming
Afraid to give in
Starting new wars
Oozing your sin

I'll stay by her side
And fight on her team
I'll never give in
To your deadly scheme

She'll never be lost
To your boring statistics
She'll rise like a phoenix
Defying ballistics

Love Makes Me Lovesick

Love makes me lovesick

I want some self-esteem, but I am lost inside of you.
I’m licking my wounds after another battle with love.
I thought we were living the dream, but now I know that is untrue.
All that you did for me was never enough to earn my trust.

I drag you inside my heart for a feeling,
Because all I can feel is I need to be leaving.
Love me forever! Or I will turn my back on you.
I am sick to the stomach of your idea of love
And I cannot allow you to keep on stealing.

I give and you take and give nothing in return;
Silence your lies and leave the memories to burn.
Stir your pot and I will let you once more churn;
You lied and I cried and now you have become not even mentioned…
Not even Her.

Left to be forgotten by a love of a life;
A possible true love became my destruction overnight.
A love like this makes me feel sick!
So I am ok with just leaving it.

A pessimist is never disappointed;
With you I have become severely disjointed.
I miss the memories of those days of love or something.
Reality bites, something was never real
And this love you claim to give out is really…nothing.

Sleep sweet child for the laughter of the leaves
has withered on the trees and the wind blows cold
as dusk calls with shallow, whispered breath
and nighttime masks the waiting dawn.

Let not a lone tear, drip from your tender eyes,
as you look upon me lying here.
I have seen so many things in my long life,
I have lived my dreams and sang my songs.

I have danced and laughed, and kissed and loved.
Though I shiver through sweating brow, my bed is warm,
the aches and pain, a mere moment's distraction.
I'm sure they will be but a memory soon.

Is that fear I see in you, as I look beyond the glass?
Cry not for me my beautiful one.
In a few days your mom will take you home,
yet, your smile will linger within me.

All the better if you can't come close,
but please, do not fear the mask I reluctantly wear.
It provides me with a breath of fresh air
as my chest grows weary from this cruel malady.

How I wish I could hold you and whisper I love you,
but that is far beyond us now,
only gentle memories that linger in my mind
as I see the worry on your mother's face.

Don't be concerned, she will be there for you
as was I for her and, someday, you will be
to calm the confusion in your little ones' tears,
I would have liked to see that day.

But, alas, I do not believe this mask upon my face
will see me through another sunrise.
I have fought so hard but grown so very tired.
Let me sleep now, perhaps, I will see your smile in the morning.

Premium Member Again

I dried my teary eyes again
curled up in my bed again
fell asleep alone again
I do it all the time.

I felt crazy in my head again
wished I were gone again
Merely became insane again
But really, I am fine.

I remembered that joke again,
I had another smoke again
Played the love-sick fool again
Geez, I need to unwind.

I thought about this poem again
I lost interest in my thoughts again
dazed off once again
Did I forget my lines?

I wonder if you'll read again
Or maybe get confused again
I wish I knew how to again
But I forget it all the time.

(( Just kind of wanted to write an out there piece lol Please Enjoy the oddities))

imprisoned in one’s own home —
              fear of the masses’ mind

the old stretch out to the skies —
passing sweeter clouds as they pass on

as the young adults squeeze on
masks, their disguise, sore afraid

they coat themselves in gel —
head to foot disease, not one sneeze

one thinks, or rather surrenders to skittish instinct:
       — don’t look their way, don’t touch their hand

watch out for the industrial strength keg
of Lysol spray, right in your eyes...aimed at your heart

I’ve seen better ways amidst the pews, the chosen few
   — who continue to love inside and outside the doors

Hey, you — wash hands, yes do. Suds them up, rinse
for at least twenty seconds. Yessiree, stay home

if you’re sick. be conscientious...heck, be conscious!
stay off cruises for now. don’t gather in claustrophobic crowds

now i know someone is thinking about the sanctimonious one
— surely some in the masses love their fellow man just like me

i hope you ALL do. no one wants to feel like a leper,
get murder threats, feel isolated by mankind —

it could be you, so be kind…be kind...be kind!
                                            — please be kind

Love Addiction

Addicted to your love, No cure; No
question, highly intoxicated, and
wasted, On A stable feed, In my
vein, indeed impaled the skin,Like A
heroine trips, First kiss, I crave it,
I need it, and can't live without it,
may need Rehab, stealing it in,
my dreams,Looking down every alley,
making those desperate calls,
what you got boy, is hard to find,
I think about it all the time,
All stung out, my heart is fried,
can't get you off my mind,
your love; your love, Is my drug,
cause I'm just A love sick crack-
head for you, won't deny it, and
won't resist it, gotta have a fix,
I'm coming for you,don't move,
Gotta snort, your love addiction now,
gotta have that fix,To the extreme over-
Dose com posit in my arms.

Love Exclamation Oh Please

“Oh Romeo”, “yes, my sweet Juliet”
This love I believe,
Is nothing but fiction, nothing but a dream.
Pray show me a love
Untainted by pain
That time’s wretched hands haven’t touched
And filled with lies, adultery and pure hate

Love sick mates
Sweet nothings and French kisses on the streets
So sickly in love.
So obliviously insane
How long does it last, how long will love stay
I’ll tell you how long, till love dreams some other dream,
Of enthralling beauty and a new found craze.

Then comes so dramatically
Cursing and hating
Accompanied so innocently with kicking and screaming.
Such music to thy ears, such music do thou loved ones speak
Suddenly “it’s gone, no spark do I feel “
And in this do tell me does love just run away.
Weak, I say, is how love leaves you. Weak and distraught, and with nothing left but
pain

And the reason we find
Such a thing may die
Is not but long legs or a wickedly pleasing smile
Like hunters they prowl
The crowd for their next score
To boast of wildly among all their friends
Who deep inside they all know are their foes

So fall deeply in love
But a warning beware
Of liars and lovers
Who cannot help but stare
For time it seems is a sinister being
It walks in all happy
And leaves you bloody, kicking and screaming.

Premium Member Valentine

red rose and chocolate are common place,
do no justice to someone with your grace,
pricey perfumes that are marketed to charm,
but smother the odours that in love form,
there are designer handbags, scarfs and shoes,
many pretty garments that one can choose,
but I know these will hold you no appeal,
for someone like you it is no big deal,
then how shall I profess my love, do say!
when stood at your door on Valentine’s day?
should I play you a song on violin?
or should I dance with you, your love to win?
perhaps a candle lit dinner for two?
so I can hold your hands and look at you!
I am love sick, lost, utterly confused!
I know you are not easily seduced,
so here is my love posted through your door,
filled with kisses!.... ask if need anymore!
